Two Brothers M-7 VALE Slip-On Exhaust Kawasaki KLR650

Slip-On exhaust systems replace your existing “s-bend” pipe and exhaust canister. Two Brothers' s-bends are manufactured from .035" thin wall stainless steel. They then polish them to a satin finish. Two Brothers' uses only #304 stainless which will never rust.

After a few heat cycles the steel turns a golden amber color which is the characteristic signature of high quality stainless steel.

These systems not only add horsepower but also can drop significant weight from your bike. This type of canister can be mounted in the original canister position or in a “high” mounted canister position depending on the bike.

The entire line of TBR M Series canisters feature the same high level of quality construction and are designed to be fully serviceable in the event of damage, routine maintenance or the occasional repack. Two Brothers Racing's V.A.L.E.™ slip-on exhaust systems and flange-on systems feature CNC'ed aluminum inlets. These special designs provide for ease of maintenance as well as simplified construction, which is what a premium performance product is all about! The exhaust note produced by all of their Top Level™ exhaust systems is best described as being deep and throaty without suffering from the shrill whine normally associated with other manufacturer's straight through muffler canisters.

V.A.L.E. = Variable Axis Locking Exhaust. The V.A.L.E.™ system is TBR's revolutionary and patented method of attaching their muffler canisters to the exhaust tube without the use of springs or welding. Their V.A.L.E. systems allow the muffler assembly - exhaust tube and canister - to be positioned perfectly on the bike before all the mounting hardware is fully tightened. Once the canister and exhaust tubes are properly aligned, the V.A.L.E. assembly locks the muffler canister to the exhaust tube assuring a perfect, leak-free fit.

Revzilla got the product out right away and it is what I ordered. This is a loud slip on that could annoy neighbors. This is a good quality product that delivers as promised. August 3, 2015
This is a good exhaust This muffler is a great product. Was easy to install, sound was a little loud. Improved to throttle response of the bike. looks good.Purchased the extra tip to make it not so loud, but I would like it just a little softer. I know the exhaust is for off road, but I ride 99% on the street. I can live with the sound.Mellows out at cruising speed. Overall I like the muffler. July 15, 2014
Nice n loud!! Looks good and made well. Easy to fit.and tucks in nicely behind the plastic work. Sounds a lot better than the stock. It is loud and referred to here now as the 'Neighbour Hater' but the add in Power tip takes a little of the edge off. I'm happy and would do it again. Still tweaking the other parts but the bike feels a fraction better. June 9, 2014
An Exhausting Summary... Ok, I've put off doing the review till I had put some miles on my KLR 650 with the Two Brothers Exhaust.... Now it's time. I had my mechanic do the install though it only took him approx. 15 minutes (I don't have the proper tools) as per his words "It's a nice fit and easy setup"... PROS: Additional torque in the low end, quicker response, and the Carbon Fiber model looks and stays pretty cool! CONS: Decibels!!..This sucker is Loud!(well, louder than the stock by a fair amount)... Get the 8-9 Dcbl sound suppressor! (Unless you hate your neighbors) Revzilla I believes sells it. Loss of MPG.... I'm averaging about 37-40 mpg now..mainly due to the fact I needed to have the carb rejetted and tuned for the new exhaust system.....(fuel injection systems might not be as bad) Overall, I'm happier than a pig in mud with the new exhaust! An added benefit of the louder exhaust is I'm "Heard" on the street and Highway by other Driver's....Anything that alerts people who are encased in 1 ton plus of metal and 4 wheels of me being on the road with them...is a major PLUS!!! Martin M: The KLR650 has been around for quite awhile...a quick search shows that from it's conception till 2008.... there wasn't any Major changes in the bikes spec's.

KLR650-A: The "A" model was introduced in 1987, based on its KLR600 predecessor (1984 to 1986). The "A" model remained nearly unchanged until the introduction of the 2008 model in USA, Canada and Europe.

To make certain that the exhaust will fit, give Two Brothers a call... 1 (800) 211-2767.
Also, if you are running the bike on the street...I'd suggest getting the P1-X PowerTip™ sound suppressor is a recommended accessory for our exhaust systems with M series endcaps. A straight-through sound diffuser, the TBR PowerTip™ quiets the pipe about 7-8 dB with no significant reduction in horsepower. Maybe used with a spark arrestor screen.

If you like your neighbors!
