Two Brothers M-7 VALE Slip-On Exhaust Kawasaki KLR650

Two Brothers Racing has taken their street proven exhaust technology and threw it in the dirt and created the Two Brothers M7 Slip-On Exhaust. With the patented use of magnesium, aluminum, stainless steel and carbon fiber with hours of testing, TBR has created an exhaust that out-performs on all levels. Whether you are trail riding or just having fun in the sand this exhaust delivers with performance gains that you can hear and feel in every part of the power-band.

All Two Brothers M-7 Exhausts feature TBR’s innovative V.A.L.E. system. The V.A.L.E. system is TBR's revolutionary, patented method of attaching the muffler canisters to the mid-pipe without the use of springs or welding. Each muffler is mounted to the bike via a solid aluminum integrated exhaust hanger. All of this combined copes extremely well with the rigors of off-road riding and reduces possibility of exhaust failures.

Features:

  • Integrated exhaust hanger
  • 304 stainless steel mid-pipes
  • Spiral-wound perforated core
  • Teflon coated magnesium end-cap
  • Optional anodized bolts kits available (sold separately)
  • Includes U.S. Forestry Service approved removable screen type spark arrestor
  • Made in USA

Exhaust Fail twice! I normally do not write reviews however in this case I need to caution those with a KLR 650 not to purchase this exhaust. Originally I purchased the Carbon fiber for my 2012 KLR 650 and it looked, sound and felt great! however less than 8 months the Exhaust basically has a catastrophic failure. I called Revzilla and they were great and helped me get in contact with Two Brothers. Two brothers did honor their warranty and decided to send me a replacement however they mentioned that due to the high pressures of the KLR it would make more sense to get the aluminum canister instead. I agreed and after another 10-12 months the aluminum canister had another catastrophic failure. Both Failures were on the bottom of the canister which is held on by 6 screws. This design reduces the structural integrity on the Exhaust and from my experience consistently failed in the same manner on both occasions. At this point I will move on to a better exhaust that has a welded seal on the bottom of the canister where pressures are more extreme. April 22, 2016
Great Investment. Loud enough So I just installed this exhaust and took the bike for a spin. In my shop I thought it was going to be way too loud but once outside driving around its great. Very loud compared to the stock exhaust. But not overkill like I thought it was going to be. Nice deep tone. definitely turns heads. I have a video below how to install the exhaust and some start ups in the shop. Very easy install instructions are very clear and should take 15-20 minutes. I would recommend this exhaust definitely to any KLR owner. It's more expensive but definitely worth it. March 27, 2016
Revzilla got the product out right away and it is what I ordered. This is a loud slip on that could annoy neighbors. This is a good quality product that delivers as promised. August 3, 2015
This is a good exhaust This muffler is a great product. Was easy to install, sound was a little loud. Improved to throttle response of the bike. looks good.Purchased the extra tip to make it not so loud, but I would like it just a little softer. I know the exhaust is for off road, but I ride 99% on the street. I can live with the sound.Mellows out at cruising speed. Overall I like the muffler. July 15, 2014
Nice n loud!! Looks good and made well. Easy to fit.and tucks in nicely behind the plastic work. Sounds a lot better than the stock. It is loud and referred to here now as the 'Neighbour Hater' but the add in Power tip takes a little of the edge off. I'm happy and would do it again. Still tweaking the other parts but the bike feels a fraction better. June 9, 2014
An Exhausting Summary... Ok, I've put off doing the review till I had put some miles on my KLR 650 with the Two Brothers Exhaust.... Now it's time. I had my mechanic do the install though it only took him approx. 15 minutes (I don't have the proper tools) as per his words "It's a nice fit and easy setup"... PROS: Additional torque in the low end, quicker response, and the Carbon Fiber model looks and stays pretty cool! CONS: Decibels!!..This sucker is Loud!(well, louder than the stock by a fair amount)... Get the 8-9 Dcbl sound suppressor! (Unless you hate your neighbors) Revzilla I believes sells it. Loss of MPG.... I'm averaging about 37-40 mpg now..mainly due to the fact I needed to have the carb rejetted and tuned for the new exhaust system.....(fuel injection systems might not be as bad) Overall, I'm happier than a pig in mud with the new exhaust! An added benefit of the louder exhaust is I'm "Heard" on the street and Highway by other Driver's....Anything that alerts people who are encased in 1 ton plus of metal and 4 wheels of me being on the road with them...is a major PLUS!!!
