Two Brothers M-2 VALE Slip-On Exhaust Yamaha FZ8

Each Two Brothers Racing M2 Slip-On features the same high level of quality construction and is designed to be fully-serviceable in the event of damage, routine maintenance or the occasional repack. All TBR’s M series slip-on exhaust systems feature the innovative V.A.L.E. system with CNC'ed aluminum inlets. The V.A.L.E. system is TBR's revolutionary, patented method of attaching the muffler canisters to the mid-pipe without the use of springs or welding. This system allows the muffler assembly - exhaust mid-pipe and canister - to be positioned perfectly on the bike before all the mounting hardware is fully tightened. Once the canister and mid-pipe are properly aligned, the V.A.L.E. assembly locks the muffler canister to the mid-pipe assuring a perfect, leak-free connection.

Two Brothers' mid-pipes are manufactured from .035" thick stainless steel and feature a polished satin finish. They exclusively use 304 stainless steel for its high rust resistance. After a few heat cycles the 304 steel turns a golden amber color, which is the signature of high quality stainless steel. The exhaust note produced by all of Two Bros exhaust systems is best described as being deep and throaty, without suffering from the shrill whine normally associated with other manufacturer's straight through muffler canisters. But this bark would be pointless without a bad bite, so no matter which great sounding TBR’s exhaust you choose they will all reduce weight and deliver additional horsepower and torque.

As the government aka “The Man” pushes for greater emission restrictions, motorcycle manufacturers are forced to make their exhausts heavier and more restrictive. Two Brothers Racing has given the motorcycle community the means to stick it to the man with the M Series Slip-On Exhaust.

Not obnoxiously loud and has a great sound. This exhaust opened up my FZ8 and made the bike not sound like a sewing machine anymore. It was easy to install and didn't require any modifying to fit. October 26, 2015
Looks great and sounds even better. This was super easy to install; less than an hour. The only thing to look out for is make sure it's the right canister for your model year. I didn't pay close enough attention to the box and the canister I got was for 2011-2012 FZ8. I have a 2013. The only issue is the slip on pipe has brackets welded on it to mount the OEM heat shield. I ran the bike to check for leaks before trying to apply the OEM heat shield and discovering the problem thus voiding my return possiblity. It really doesn't bother me. Other than that; no issues. Definitely can't complain about the price. The bike sounds great. A deep growl at idle, cruising speed, and gets loud when getting on the throttle. I've had several compliments from people on the sound. Doesn't seem to bother the cops at all in any town I've been in. May 21, 2014
Sounds so good A good sounding can will definitely make a bike feel faster regardless of actual power gains, and the M-2 VALE sounds absolutely amazing on the FZ8. I actually prefer slightly the look of the Leo Vince and Akrapovic offerings, but I'm convinced they don't quite match the TB's growl. If you're in a neighborhood or ride often, definitely get the Power Tip dB killer. It won't ruin the distinctive tone. The P1X is just right. I chose the titanium Black Series and I'm very happy with it. Keep in mind that carbon fiber requires extra care. I've seen an old carbon fiber M-2 VALE left out in the sun to rot and that diamond weave looks pretty gruesome with the gloss coming off it. October 7, 2013
Super Sweet Growl! I got the Carbon Black Series slip on, and I absolutely love it! Not only is it light weight, enhance the stealth look of my ride...it ultimately gives multiple gains in HP, Torque, with that awesome 4 into 1 racing growl I have to hear, all this without the expense of a full system with the added expense and mapping issues of having to buy a power commander V! And did I mention that even after a 3 hour ride you can actually put your hand on the pipe and its barely warm at all!!! No more accidental leg burn or boot, apparel burn.....If your after the performance aspects of a sport exhaust, and don't want to part with the green backs this is a great product, I highly recommend it!
