Two Brothers M-2 VALE Slip-On Exhaust Honda CBR250R

Each Two Brothers Racing M2 Slip-On features the same high level of quality construction and is designed to be fully-serviceable in the event of damage, routine maintenance or the occasional repack. All TBR’s M series slip-on exhaust systems feature the innovative V.A.L.E. system with CNC'ed aluminum inlets. The V.A.L.E. system is TBR's revolutionary, patented method of attaching the muffler canisters to the mid-pipe without the use of springs or welding. This system allows the muffler assembly - exhaust mid-pipe and canister - to be positioned perfectly on the bike before all the mounting hardware is fully tightened. Once the canister and mid-pipe are properly aligned, the V.A.L.E. assembly locks the muffler canister to the mid-pipe assuring a perfect, leak-free connection.

Two Brothers' mid-pipes are manufactured from .035" thick stainless steel and feature a polished satin finish. They exclusively use 304 stainless steel for its high rust resistance. After a few heat cycles the 304 steel turns a golden amber color, which is the signature of high quality stainless steel. The exhaust note produced by all of Two Bros exhaust systems is best described as being deep and throaty, without suffering from the shrill whine normally associated with other manufacturer's straight through muffler canisters. But this bark would be pointless without a bad bite, so no matter which great sounding TBR’s exhaust you choose they will all reduce weight and deliver additional horsepower and torque.

As the government aka “The Man” pushes for greater emission restrictions, motorcycle manufacturers are forced to make their exhausts heavier and more restrictive. Two Brothers Racing has given the motorcycle community the means to stick it to the man with the M Series Slip-On Exhaust.

Very Loud
A nice pipe. Put this on a friends CBR250R. Installation was quite easy. HOWEVER, consider yourselves warned. I knew Two Bros made some loud pipes, but OMG. This 250 is louder than my ZX-6R's (Akro and Leo Vince).

Amazing!
I purchased the Carbon Fiber Black Series after sombody hit my bike with their car and this was the insurance check!

Overall I would say its an amazing product. It really amps up the volume and the aggressive sound of the bike. So people actually see me now when I'm riding. Its really aggressive when your quickly accelerating but then calms down when your just cruising. But the downside is you louse most of your ability to engine brake with the increased flow.

The instal was a bit finiky but overall it was pretty easy took me about 20 minutes to get everything done after I got the stock pipe off.

It comes with one of the Power tips in it and as of now I have it in because the cops around here will pull you over in a heartbeat if your bike is too loud.

Will my bike stall when its cold after installing this exhaust?
A shopper on Nov 11, 2013
BEST ANSWER: No. It is always nicer to the bike if you let it warm up for a few minutes first (I let it get to one heat bar on the readout) but if you need to just start it and go for some reason, it runs fine
Does the slip on come with a power tip or not? One reviewer passively said that one was included, but I can't find a definitive answer online anywhere. If one is included, is it a p1x or just a p1 power tip. Thanks!
Anthony A on Oct 8, 2014
BEST ANSWER: It does come with a very standard looking tip that provides a slight decrease in noise. I purchased the optional -8db p1x. I would say it's still loud but less harsh than the one that comes with. Though the difference between the two is minimal. Without the tip this pipe is very loud.
Did anybody encounter any leakage after installing this product? The installation guide says there are chances.
A shopper on Mar 22, 2015
BEST ANSWER: I didn't notice any and mine has been on and off several times.
Is this exhaust CARB compliant?
Neil d on Dec 30, 2013
BEST ANSWER: I don't know an a carb model. But works nice on my daughters 2013 fuel injected model. I don't know why it wouldn't?
