Great sounding/looking exhaust for the cost
Overall I'm happy with this exhaust. I installed on a 2011 zx6r. It is pretty loud but not as insane as some others I've heard. I rode my bike for a few days and decided to order the P1X insert to tone it back a bit. I like to use my ear buds for music while riding a lot.
First off the look. It looks so much better on my bike compared to the stock exhaust. I really like being able to see more of the wheel. I've seen a lot worse stock exhausts than my 2011 zx6r but still a big improvement.
Now for the sound. It is nice and loud but also surprisingly deep. I looked through just about every exhaust for my bike I think and I was really worried about ordering one and just not liking it. For me it was down to the Werkes pipe, this one, and the Muzzy. Here is one thing I really like about two brothers over the other 2. If you go to two brother's website and you pull up their exhausts they actually have a table that shows the Db levels at 5k rpms. They also have the inserts listed in there as well. That gave me a lot more confidence in this pipe and the inserts available. After a few days of riding it I decided to go with the P1X insert so I could still listen to music and I'm sure on longer rides the standard sound might have been a bit much. Due to the information two brothers provides on the website I knew it would make a big difference and it really does.
Performance is interesting on a mid pipe/muffler like this. It's not a full race tuned exhaust. I will say the biggest difference I've noticed is losing about 15lbs from taking off the old muffler and the stock cats. I'm sure there were a couple of hp gained but from riding the bike I can feel the weight difference. I also notice better throttle response. This could be due to how everything works on the 2011 zx6r though. It has a valve that turns inside the stock muffler that opens it up. Obviously that's not there anymore. Combine that with a couple horse power and just the fact that it is more open and that's probably why. Not a huge difference but it is a slight difference.
If you're too concerned about sound to purchase this pipe I recommend visiting two brother's site and checking out the information for your bike. As I said the charts that show the sound levels at 5k rpms gave me the confidence that I could go with this exhaust and change it to what I wanted with one of the 2 inserts available. The build quality is fantastic, the instructions aren't too bad, and had I not already had a fender eliminator on my bike this would have been a much better value. The good news is a friend of mine can use it so it didn't go to waste at least.

Overall Great Product
Took a little longer then expected to install but overall a great product. I have the carbon black series and it sounds amazing. The can is so much lighter than the stock muffler its insane. Great deep tone through out the rpms and a nice "gurgle" sounds on the deceleration side. I can really notice a difference around the 7,000 rpm range in sound and in power. I was really surprised at the power in the higher rpm range after the install.

This is an excellent slip-on
I was excited to receive the slip-on and was pleased that it was very bike specific in the packaging and instructions. Cut off my stock muffler according to the installation instructions, and the slip-on fit perfect in its place. It looks great, and sounds even better!

The best bolt-on modification that you can do for your bike.
I am most impressed with the fit and finish of the Two Brothers exhaust. It is very easy to install with no need to cut or fit anything. It is very high quality, the S-bend and the seat flange are a perfect fit. I recommend spending the extra money to get the Carbon Fiber, it sounds great and looks awesome. It also holds up better and is much easier to keep clean, it doesn't show water spots, turn colors etc.
It is shipped with everything that you need to completely install it on your bike, even the RTV sealant.
The only thing that I'd change is the length of the canister, it's about 1"-1.5" too long in my opinion and compared to the OEM exhaust placement.

Took my Kat to a whole new level
I've had my katana for about a year now and this was my first mod. I had been all over YouTube trying to see which exhaust sound the best. This one just kept jumping out at me. I believe it was the low end grunt. I went ahead an grabbed it. It would have been a easy install but it actually needed a small sleeve to snug the pipe up to the bike. The pipe was to small for the hole. The sleeve was on the stock pipe but I couldn't get it off. I went to Street Bikez Plus and they took care of me. My Kat sound like a Beast now and it's lighter. I can definitely feel the extra power. Best investment yet. #Killin The Scene!

Bought the Two Brothers "Black Series" carbon fiber exhaust canister for my 2012 FZ1. Installation was a breeze - perhaps an hour at the most. Everything fit perfectly and the whole process was seamless from start to finish. The product arrived in less than a week, and I was impressed by the care taken in shipping. The product itself was in the original Two Brothers packaging and very well protected. That box was then inside another box which was an exact fit and added additional protection, then both of the above were inside a larger box that was packed with paper to prevent any rattling or movement. Above and beyond in my opinion. The product appears to be well constructed and looks great on my bike, and really adds a nice growling sound to the exhaust note. In my opinion you lose a little low end torque when compared to the stock exhaust, but the reduced weight, sound, look, and additional horsepower more than make up for the difference. I would strongly recommend this product to anyone.
