Two Brothers M-2 VALE Slip-On Exhaust
I got my money's worth
I installed it on my my 2012 ninja 250r, before I put it on the stock exhaust sounded like a scooter, I was always embarrassed to rev my motor when riding with others. Now my little ninja sounds like a much bigger bike then it did before. It's exactly the sound I was looking for. My money as well spent on this product.

NEEDS POWER TIP AS PART OF THE SYSTEM
This review is for the M2 VALE Carbon Fiber exhaust recently purchased and installed on my 08 Suzuki DL1000.
Shipping from Revzilla was fast and efficient. Packaging was excellent. Used Zilla bucks from previous purchases to save on the total cost.
The installation was very straightforward and simple for even novice mechanic. Tools for install included along w Permatex. Look and finish is awesome. I weighed the difference between stock cans w/ downpipe and the carbon fiber cans and downpipe, and shed 8lbs from the bike.
These cans are UNRESTRICTED. You run basically an open pipe with baffling surrounding the end which makes for a VERY LOUD pipe that sounds raspy and no different than the straight pipe on a Harley (if you're running a twin engine). Your bike will run very lean due to no backpressure and that's not good. Warning: If you are buying these cans only, you will need to somehow richen the fuel delivery. I ran the bike two days in stock fueling configuration and the bike hesitated, popped, stalled at idle and only ran well when the throttle was WFO.
The next day I installed a Power Commander V - for the exhaust setup. Without the PCV or an alternate fuel
control system, these cans would make your life miserable and your bike run poorly. After the PCV was mapped for this bike and these cans (Power Commander has the exact map download for this configuration) - I went for a ride and it was smooth and responsive. No more stall or hesitation or excessive popping.
However, it was still WAY TOO LOUD as an open pipe AND was still missing low and mid range power! Two Brothers sells separately 3 variations of a "power tip" which inserts between the end of the can and the end cap to create backpressure and restrict the open ended can, reducing decibles and creating some backpressure. I did not run the pipes with the power tip in stock fueling mode so I do not know if this configuration will work with stock fuel delivery, This power tip (P1X is the one I bought) costs $35.00 EACH and amounts to a basic machined aluminum pipe fitting. Since I needed two of them, my cost with shipping was $70. Once installed, the exhaust noise was tame(er) and the low and midrange power restored.
Installing open pipes on a motorcycle will require jetting or fuel control mapping, but there is no mention of this in the paperwork from Two Brothers. That's OK, I expected it, but others may not. It should be stated somewhere before purchase that this application will not run with stock fuel settings and will require jetting or mapping otherwise your bike runs like junk.
The Two Bros. M2 VALE "system" as ordered is not complete IMO, i.e. no "power tip." I hate feeling like I'm being nickeled and dimed, particularly when so many consumers deem this power tip a necessity. It is a very simply machined aluminum part that costs
little to manufacture. I'd rather pay the extra $70 up front and have it included in the initial purchase of the "system" and not sold separately. Are you listening Two Bros? It makes me hesitate and reconsider future purchases such as Staintune or Leo's.
In the end I am satisfied with the setup and feel like I gained a few extra horsepower and a nice sounding bike with no more fuel surging or hesitation issues. With the power tips it is now tolerable for my passenger on the highway. I gave the overall cost, setup, and performance 3 stars due to the fact that the cans alone do not make this a "system" and should not be advertised as such. You WILL need a fuel controller and the "power tips" to make the "system" perform optimally, a total cost of around $1,200.00. The power tips should have been included in the intitial purchase of the system and some mention of it should made by either Revzilla or Two Bros. that fuel mapping will be a necessary modification to complete installation.

Thrilled with the result, but a couple of quick warnings
I purchased this system for one reason only...the sound. What I got was a lot more. Installation went pretty smoothly. And when I pulled the OEM muffler out I could see why my stock FZ6 sounded like a Moped. And I was amazed that my poor bike could breath at all through the OEM canister. The Two Brother cans open everything up and the bike can now breath! It runs noticably (albeit only a little) better and sounds terrific.
A couple of quick notes regarding installation. 1) Be sure to make your cut within an inch or two of the blinkers when you are removing the OEM wiring harness. Yes, you will be reusing that. 2) Do not torque the license plate light bulbs too much or the hollow bolt with break. I broke one. Apart from that, installation is a breeze. It took me about 3 hours, but I wasn't in a hurry.
I would strongly recommend this or any other slip-on exhaust replacement for an FZ6. UNLESS, it is important to you to have a very quiet bike - which a stock FZ6 is (IMO).

I bought this and put it on my 2008 Kawasaki Ninja 650R and it sounds beastly. My bike no longer sounds like a Vespa. It is so much louder than I expected; any video you watch online does not do it justice.
The exhaust was very easy to install, but the hardest part was getting the stock exhaust off. All in all, it took me about an hour from start to finish.

Got this for my F800GS. First the negatives; It's a bit long, and the the connector pipes fitting over the stock header is too short. Unfortunately, the Aluminum one is SHINY AS HECK. Mirror-like finish . I thought I ordered the dull one, but i guess not.
It sounds amazing. Quality seems top notch. Good price on sale!

Best thing you can do to an NC700X,
Transformed my bike! Added power and amazing BMW type sound. If you can afford to do only one upgrade to your bike... This is it!

Excellent - but with a few things to remember
Finish and quality is excellent. Really well done. The fender eliminator kit is also really great looking.
Keep in mind you'll have no fender now, so the exhaust / underside of the bike is going to get nasty in the rain very quickly. Hope you like washing your bike!
Every time I accelerate I find myself going "OH YES" however after 15 minutes of cruising I find myself now going "bleehghbhghg" as my brain bleeds from the penetrating drone.
Earplugs help but only so much. The other guys I've ridden with on longer treks hate being behind me. Sorry guys!!
