Two Brothers M2 Exhaust System Yamaha FZ6R

Are you looking to feed your horsepower addiction? TBR has your fix. Introducing the Two Brothers Racing M2 Exhaust System. Constructed of high-flow stainless steel headers, midpipes and your choice of muffler material, this exhaust delivers performance, aggressive looks and a snarl that is unique among its competitors

The headers are manufactured from .035" thin wall #304 stainless steel tubing which are polished to a satin finish. TBR exclusively uses premium #304 stainless for its ductile quality making it possible to produce extremely lightweight, yet strong headers. After a few heat cycles the pipes will turn a golden amber color, the signature characteristic of high quality stainless steel. Additionally, the stepped design creates a vacuum effect which aids in the efficient evacuation of exhaust gasses. The result is a lightweight exhaust that produces horsepower and torque gains throughout the powerband.

Encompassing all this extra muscle is Two Brothers’ trademarked V.A.L.E. system with X-Lite retaining ring and premium M2 muffler featuring TBR’s signature cast magnesium end cap. Once the canister, mid-pipe and headers are properly aligned, the V.A.L.E. assembly locks the muffler canister to the mid-pipe ensuring  a perfect, leak-free connection. Each M2 muffler features the same high quality construction and is designed to be fully-serviceable in the event of damage, routine maintenance or the occasional repack.

With an exhaust system this capable, the sound has to match the performance. The Two Brothers M2 Exhaust produces a deep roar thanks to its spiral-wound perforated core technology, giving the Two Brothers M2 Exhaust System a bite as mean as its bark.

Features:

  • V.A.L.E. (Variable Axis Locking Exhaust)
  • Stainless steel springs
  • Black Teflon coated magnesium end-cap
  • Rubber-lined exhaust clamp
  • Optional P1 and PX1 sound inserts available (sold separately)
  • Optional anodized bolts kits available (sold separately)

What a great sound
It took alittle doing but was pretty easy to install. I'm very happy with the sound. My friends told me the stock exhaust sounded like a sewing machine, well no more! The power curve and overall performance was increased 10 fold.
The carbon fiber gives it a great look. Thanks!

Total Transformation from stock
Put this exhaust system on because I was looking for something with a more powerful sound and a boost in performance. I am very pleased with the result. Better throttle response and a very good sound that's not over the top. It shaved about 10lbs off my bike which I like as well.

One thing I will say is that the install is easy as long as you have another person to help you. A friend and I put this on my bike in about 2 hrs give or take. I would find this hard to install by yourself. Bike stand was also nice to have.

2014 Yamaha FZ6R
I've been making mods to my FZ6R and this is one of the big steps I've taken. This thing is LOUD and it was well worth the money. Stock exhaust sounds like a kitten compared to this. I'm already getting compliments.

Amazing Upgrade
Finally got the Two Brothers exhaust on my FZ6R. Sound is amazing!!! installation was pretty simple! If you are thinking about upgrading your exhaust id say do it. Its pretty pricey if you have to buy a full exhaust system like i did, but it is well worth it! I feel like im riding a new bike!!

Best mod yet!
After countless hours of reading blogs and watching YouTube videos on how to upgrade the FZ6R exhaust, I decided to purchase the Two Brothers carbon full exhaust system, and I could not be happier with my choice.
This exhaust will bring the beast that was hiding behind the stock exhaust to life. I would attempt to describe the differnece in sound, tone, decibel but there no point. It can't be put in to words.
When it comes to exhaust, don't try to take the inexpensive way out and "just make something work". Do it right the first time.
Suggestion - install was extremely easy and straight forward. Although, it was very helpful to have another person there.
This is the product you need to transform your bike.

Quiet Purr to Massive Roar
This full system exhaust made the FZ6R loud enough to be heard multiple block away. The exhaust system came with instructions as well. It's a really great purchase if you have $1000 just laying around.

Save weight, increase horsepower, expect loud
This is a high quality exhaust that was installed with block off plates and a PC V fuel mapping computer. Tangible increase in power, especially at higher RPMs. Keep in mind performance behavior depends on set up of the fuel map with the PC V. I was a bit surprised by how much louder the exhaust is now. Even using the P1 Power Tip (which did come with the system) it's still pretty loud. If you plan on street use I suggest getting the P1X Power Tip to reduce noise a little more. The raw exhaust note is awesome, just loud no matter which Power Tip you use.

if you have a FZ6r this should be your first mod! i was shocked at the difference in sound and performance you can really feel the boost in acceleration and the bike sounds incredible. The stock exhaust is way too quiet almost dangerously. now people actually move when I'm in traffic and no more merging into me!

More HP and torqe, sounds awesome, looks awesome! Hell yeah can't wait to install..

Does this FZ6r exhaust require a power commander ?
A shopper on May 13, 2015
BEST ANSWER: It doesn't require a fuel controller but it is recommended and you will see a much better boost in performance. I was strapped for cash after I bought mine so I got a "juice box" instead of the "power commande" to save 200 bucks and it been fine for me. The company puts a pre programed map on there specifically for your bike with that exaust. Very helpful. I definitely saw a performance boost with both of them. Hope this helps
I just got a 2013 model fz6r and it has an O2 sensor just before the cat, is there a bung or something similar to install it on the new system, I still have warranty on the bike so I want to avoid a juice box of something like that?
Michael G on Nov 7, 2013
BEST ANSWER: I bought the full two brothers exhaust system for my new fz6r when I had 46 miles on the bike. There was no orfice built into the system for the O2 sensor. When you read about the two brothers system they tell you this is a race system not intended for street use. I ride it on the street with no problems with noise. It's got a great sound and the performence boost it out of this world. Buy it you won't be sorry!

Hello, does the Two Brothers M-2 VALE Exhaust System Yamaha FZ6R come only with the canister or does it also come with the header kit bracket, flange nuts and bolts etc ?
A shopper on Feb 16, 2015
BEST ANSWER: It comes with everything that you will need to put on the full exhaust. Takes less than an hour to do so.
I have the stock exhaust as well as the center stand. Do I need to remove the stand to be able to assemble this system or can I keep it?
Jorge M on Jan 28, 2015
BEST ANSWER: My bike only had the side stand. That I did not have to remove. I do know the two brothers exhaust system tucks up much more than the stock loaf of bread.
What is the difference in material. I like cheaper but I also would not want to sacrafice performance?
