Two Brothers M-2 Black Series Slip-On Exhaust Triumph Tiger 800 / 800XC

The Two Brothers Racing Black Series exhaust is aimed at those who want absolute top level performance in a sharp and stealthy package. True to its name, the Black Series exhaust is constructed with a black teflon coated cast magnesium end caps, black billet aluminum inlets and outlets, and black canister reinforcement bands. Dyno tuned and track tested like all TBR exhausts, the Black Series features a spiral-wound perforated core which gives each exhaust system that distinct, deep, Two Brothers exhaust note. The Black Series also features TBR's innovative V.A.L.E. system and .035" thick 304 stainless steel mid-pipes. The 304 stainless steel features high rust resistance properties and after a few heat cycles the steel turns a golden amber color, which is the signature of high quality stainless steel.

Most modern motorcycles are forced to incorporate heavy and suppressive exhaust systems from the factory. Throwing on a Two Brothers Black Series exhaust will not only unlock additional horsepower but also drop the overall weight of your bike.

Dropped 10 pounds...
The stock Tiger 800 exhaust is heavy and wimpy sounding. The 2bros fixes both problems. The sound is great and it only weighs 4 pounds. For my ears, it drones a little at about 3000 RPM. However, highway speed is no louder than stock and it completely eliminates that sewing machine sound. The snap crackle and pop on deceleration makes me laugh most every time!

Looks and sounds great!
I purchased this item for two major reasons. I wanted a slightly deeper and louder exhaust note, and to reduce weight and size of original. This product delivered on both, and installation took 15 minutes including prep time. I would also like to add that yet again, delivery was lightning fast!

Works as advertised
Fir was perfect and a snap. Only took a few minutes. Finish is very good. It's not overly loud nor obnoxious with the extra baffle in place. Neighbors didn't even notice. The bike does pull harder in mid range rpm's. That's apparent. Not dramatic but it's there.

Tiger growls
OK so I've been wanting to do something about the tiger exhaust sound since the I decided to bring it home...finally spent the $ and love the growl. Took me more than 15 minutes, but only because I was enjoying the work.

Sounds great!

sounds great
Carbon fiber model. The pipe looks great and sounds good. Dropped considerable weight from the bike. The Triumph dealer put the performance tune in the computer. They even liked the look and sound. 2015 Tiger 800XRx

Excellent Two Brothers M-2 VALE Slip-On
I recently purchased the Two Brothers M-2 pipe for my 2012 Tiger. The quality of the pipe is typical Two Brothers top notch. The install was effortless, took about 15 minutes. I took the bike out this morning for a short 120 mile shakedown cruse.. The route was about 30 miles of freeway droning and 80 miles of Arizona sweepers and canyon roads. Freeway riding brings out the only downside of this upgrade. My usual sweet spot for freeway riding is 4500-4600 rpm making about 75 mph.The Two Brothers pipe changes the personality of the bike, it drones, loudly. However once on the back roads where I could vary rpms the pipe definitely adds some teeth to this Tiger. After speaking with Two Brothers I ordered a decibel killer from Revzilla, part #P-x1, that should lower the decibels by 7-9DB. I really hopes this works, I like everything about the pipe,,almost.

DualSport to Dirt Bike
This was purchased for use on a 2015 Triumph Tiger 800 xCx.

Installation was as easy as it gets. Pipe is independent of can and held in place by a bolt on flange, typical stuff.

The sound, yep, you're going to hear it and that's a good thing as I think it's the closest to sounding like the dirt bike it wants to be.

You may want to keep an eye on the exit pipe with your scruffy pad as this is an area that I think could be subject to surface rust. Easy peasy really as at the end of the day you can buy a couple of these for the price of an Akro.

Does this install require a re-map?
A shopper on Feb 28, 2014
BEST ANSWER: Yes, if you want to maximize performance. A re-map will pull a bit more hp from the motor. It is not critical though if you are just looking for a throaty sounding exhaust note.
