Two Brothers M-2 Black Series Slip-On Exhaust Honda CBR500R / CB500F / CB500X

The Two Brothers Black Series Slip-On Exhaust has become a staple among TBR customers who are seeking to unlock the vast potential in their motorcycles. What makes the Black Series so unique? True to its name, the Black Series exhausts are constructed with black Teflon coated cast magnesium end caps, black billet aluminum inlets and outlets, and black canister reinforcement bands. Every little detail has been considered and you get to reap the benefits of that amazing TBR performance and sound.

Each Two Brothers Racing M2 Slip-On features the same high level of quality construction and is designed to be fully-serviceable in the event of damage, routine maintenance or the occasional repack. All TBR’s M series slip-on exhaust systems feature the innovative V.A.L.V.E. system with CNC'ed aluminum inlets. The V.A.L.E. system is TBR's revolutionary, patented method of attaching the muffler canisters to the mid-pipe without the use of springs or welding. This system allows the muffler assembly - exhaust mid-pipe and canister - to be positioned perfectly on the bike before all the mounting hardware is fully tightened. Once the canister and mid-pipe are properly aligned, the V.A.L.E. assembly locks the muffler canister to the mid-pipe assuring a perfect, leak-free connection.

Two Brothers' mid-pipes are manufactured from .035" thick stainless steel and feature a polished satin finish. They exclusively use 304 stainless steel for its high rust resistance. After a few heat cycles the 304 steel turns a golden amber color, which is the signature of high quality stainless steel. The exhaust note produced by all of Two Bros exhaust systems is best described as being deep and throaty, without suffering from the shrill whine normally associated with other manufacturer's straight through muffler canisters. But this bark would be pointless without a bad bite, so no matter which great sounding TBR’s exhaust you choose they will all reduce weight and deliver additional horsepower and torque.

As the government aka “The Man” pushes for greater emission restrictions, motorcycle manufacturers are forced to make their exhausts heavier and more restrictive. Two Brothers Racing has given the motorcycle community the means to stick it to The Man with the M Series Slip-On Exhaust.

Love the sound! Fast shipping, easy to install, only complaint was the leak but fixed it with high temperature silicon November 16, 2015
Great Sound This pipe has a good finish and was very easy to install. The sound was great. Dont know about any performance increases, thats not why i put it on anyway my 17 year old brain wants the sound. November 9, 2015
Amazing Sound!! I bought the two brothers slip on exhaust because the stock exhaust was waayyy to quiet and put myself in danger multiple times because other motorist couldn't here me coming up beside them. I was shocked by the overall quality and amazing sound that came from the new exhaust, it went from sounding like an overpowered weed wacker to a beast on the road. Just make sure you clean the pipe off good after you install it. I was unfortunate enough to leave fingerprints on the pipe and they burned on. Other than that, i would definitely buy this pipe again when i i get a new bike October 26, 2015
Great Exhaust Slip-On for the CBR500R I did a lot of research before deciding on this Slip-On. I chose this one for the sound on the 500r it sounds fantastic! Huge improvement from the stock exhaust. I especially enjoy during deceleration the pops and gurgles it makes. I have gotten good compliments on both the sound of the exhaust and look of the Carbon Fiber from other riders. I did have a bit of an exhaust leak around the bottom of the barrel clamp. It is recommended in the instructions that any leak be sealed with high heat Silicon which I intend on getting to soon :) August 4, 2015
Love the carbon fiber look Pretty easy to install the mid-pipe clamp was kind of a pain sealing recommend using silicone. Works perfect. Other then that freaking thing sounds deep rumble and no rice sound. Throaty and feel a better throttle reaponse June 29, 2015
Deep throaty sound, but not overly loud. Quick, easy install. I can actually hear the shift points on my bike now. Stock was way too quiet. June 15, 2015
Sounds Great! I bought this pipe for my CBR and it sounds great. It has a very cool low rumble at idol and sounds great on acceleration and deceleration. I wanted something that would give my bike a sporty sound but not so loud that the neighbors would hate me or that I couldn't hear myself think while at high speeds on the highway. This was the perfect product at a great price. I purchased the carbon fiber for a few dollars extra and it looks great on my black bike. May 25, 2015
Unreal What a difference! I listened to every video and sound clip before I purchased this and nothing can come close to the real sound. Totally worth it. Installed the carbon fiber one on my cbr500r, looks great. Great fit . I can now actually hear my bike. Even blocks away. Don't think about it, just get it!!! You won't be disappointed. May 20, 2015

J U: Two Brothers is very loud, my wife has it on her CBR500R and I have the Yoshimura on my CBR500RA - Two Brothers is louder than the Yoshimura but the Yoshimura looks better and sounds a bit throatier I believe. They are both great, it is a personal preference thing. Sep 12, 2014

Jason W: Hello Fellow Shopper,

I think the 2 Brothers will suit your wants perfectly. I cannot attest to other brands, but if you want deep/throaty look no further. Carbon fibre one looks amazing on my CBR500R.

The 2Bros exhaust pops and burbbles quite a bit during deceleration and blipping the throttle. It gives the bike a whole new character.

Easy install as well. Just need the tools from your bike and you are good to go. If your great at these things, it won't take more than 15mins. If you are terrible, it shouldn't take more than an hour. Enjoy!

A shopper asked: Is this compatible with OEM Honda center stand ? ( Honda CB 500 X ) Jul 14, 2014
Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (1) No (0)
Garrett W: I don't own one, but I have been told you need to attach a catch to make it compatible. Some have mentioned removing the catch from the OEM exhaust. I do believe it is not a plug and play attachment though. Jul 17, 2014

A shopper asked: After installing this on a cb 500f will i need to have the bike remapped or change the air filter? Has anyone installed it on their bike without any other adjustment? If so does it affect performance or fuel economy? Nov 18, 2014
Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (0) No (0)
Kevin G: I purchased this exhaust back in February this year and installed without doing any other mods to the bike and and the bike runs awesome. Better performance out of the bike and very little effect on the fuel economy. I listened to a variety of videos online and all I can say is after you hear it in person it sounds much better than any video can show. Nov 18, 2014

Michael V: I installed this on my CBR500R. You don't need to do any remapping or change the filter. This is a slip on exhaust. Those are things you do when you install a full exhaust system. I saw no affect on performance or fuel mileage. Big difference in the sound though; much improved! Nov 18, 2014

marcelo m: I've had for about 8 months on my honda cb500x didn't change anything else it runs and sounds great i did notice it wasted a little bit more gas but. That's about it im gonna get a new air filter to see if i notice a bit of a difference Nov 19, 2014

A shopper asked: Hey I was wondering how often this slip on would need to be repacked and if that is an easy thing to do? Aug 15, 2013
Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (0) No (0)
Britton R: The repack is relatively easy and inexpensive. You will need a standard rivet tool that you can get at any hardware store. Regarding the interval to repack, I have seen anywhere from every 3,000 miles which seems excessive to me up to once per year. I am planning on doing mine once per year unless the sound changes dramatically. Aug 22, 2013
