These are great looking gloves and have certainly become my calling card on base! However, they really aren't the most protective gloves you can get for 75 bucks! the backs are thin, perforated leather and the palms are non perforated double layer of thin leather. They took a little bit of stretching to be good and comfortable. My right hand is bigger than my left. My right thumb, especially, seems tight. I will say, these are very well made gloves. The pattern lines up perfectly, the stitching is even and straight and the two gloves are symmetrical with their patterns. I ride a Wide Glide EVERYWHERE and these probably won't be my permanent gloves, they just aren't protective enough.

I'm a sucker for patriotic stuff. These gloves are unashamedly American. They stand out. I'm happy with them. Wish they didn't have so much print all over them but not a lot of choices for legit American flag gloves out there and not as obnoxious as I was expecting. Fit is what you'd expect. The other set of gloves I own that still have tags in them are a size L Joe Rocket and these fit the same, which is snug but not tight. I'm 5'10" 165lb size 10 shoe. Velcro strap is a little bit of an odd location to close easily and is unusually loose on the wrist for a short cuff, not a big deal none the less.
