Good in cold, fits a little small, very comfortable
I have no hand guards, no heated grips. I rode in 45F weather for 90 miles and 75 of those miles were at a 70mph or more sustained so the wind chill was probably 35F for at least an hour. I had the gloves set 1 notch BEFORE max because the max setting got my thumbs a little too warm and although my hands were chilly they never got numb. I wear a medium but due to the bulkier nature a small fit better so I got those instead since heated products like this work better closer to the body.

Great product with a design flaw.
The gloves fit well, it's comfortable, the quality is good and they work great. Warm hands commuting in 25 degree weather at 70mph. The only negative I have is with the location of the cable. The cable to plug into jacket liner is located high on the inside of gauntlet with not enough slack. When trying to get the gauntlet over sleeve of outer jacket, the cable location and short length makes it difficult and doesn't allow it to be pulled up as far as it should. It also makes the rain gaiter useless.

Needed warm hands
I've only had a chance to use this set one time here in North Texas so far this year. The temp was in the low 30s and these kept my hands warm. Very pleased, so far.

I have heated grips on my motorbike (Vstrom 650) but doesn't work so good with thick gloves, so worth of trying this technology. My other alternative was the Barkbusters BBZ.

Works well with Tour Master 2.0 jacket, I ride an un-faired bike and heated gloves are a no brainer. On the highest setting they keep my hands from going numb down to mid-30's at highway speed for 1+ hours. Easy to use and more comfortable than non-heated bulky winter gloves.

Do I need to purchase a separate controller, or can I plug these right into the 12v outlet on my bike? Thanks.

BEST ANSWER: Purchase the controller so you can control the level of heat in the glove; you do not want it max heat all the time...John
How do you measure for glove fit?
A C on Feb 14, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Go to the Tour Master site. I can't give you the link but think Revzilla should have the same info on their site. Look for a link to sizing charts then look for the glove sizing chart. At the bottom of that chart is a link for GLOVE SIZING CHART. If you click on that link it will download a PDF file to your device. If you print the file (100% size), it will print a depiction of a right hand. Lay your right hand on top of the depiction. Look at the widest part of your hand (usually the knuckle of your thumb to the big muscle below your little finger) and read the corresponding line that is to the right and parallel to the widest point of your hand. If you are between sizes, I would recommend going the next size. For example: if you are between a SIZE-9-MEDIUM and SIZE-10-LARGE, choose the large. The chart is accurate but make sure you print it full size. If your left hand is bigger than your right, you can flip the depiction over, place your left hand on it and hold it up so light is shining through the paper and read the size.
Where are the heating elements? Across the top to end off finger tips? Or? My R1200RT heated grips keep bottoms of my hands very comfortable but tops and finger tips sometimes get cold, especially on longer rides w/relaxed grip and less contact to heated grip.

Also, some RT handlebar controls are not designed for the gloved hand so actually considering handlebar mits and sticking w/my thin summer gloves. Thx!

BEST ANSWER: Yes heating elements are along the top of the hand and fingers.
Anyone used these gloves on a snowmobile?? Would like a little feedback from someone who has actually been out on a sled with these one?? Thanks for your help, advise and any suggestions you might have??

BEST ANSWER: I use them on my motorcycle. When I ordered them I was sure to follow the sizing chart. They are tight in the fingers, but the wrist fit is OK. I think they are good for moderate weather. Not for snowmobile weather.
