Excellent jacket
The outer layer of the jacket zips to the inner layer cuff. This is excellent so that you don't get too much material around your wrists. I've had to roll other jackets up at the waist to make it allow me to get to my gear on my belt. This jacket is the perfect length so that I don't have to roll it up at all. The jacket stops just prior to my belt. There's no bunching of material that would get in the way of any access to my belt. Because the jacket has three layers, it is perfect for just about any riding weather. The body armour is in the perfect location and does not sag like some other jackets do. There's plenty of pockets and other features that make the jacket worth the purchase.

Great Jacket
I really love the fact that this jacket comes with three levels of comfort. Rode with it on the first day as it arrived; rainy and cold, this jacket held up to the job! Kept me dry and warm.

Remove the inside liner to if it gets too warm. Remove the outside shell if its warm outside. This is 2 jackets in one!

The jacket is a little heavy and you will miss the feel of the wind... Bottom line, good bang for the buck.

Great Buy
This is a great jacket. Many features and comfort.
Pros: comfortable, many layers for the weather, plenty of room and storage, great protection.

Cons: the cuffs lose the material.

Many complements. Good job Revzilla...

a step in the right direction
i would like to thank Tour Master for making an actual motorcycle jacket for Motorcycle Police officers. i wear this jacket everyday (except in extreme heat) . While there are Pros and Cons to this Jacket i will start on the positive.
Pros ;
3 layers outer water resistant layer, exterior pockets, durable nylon with 2 shoulder vents and 1 back vent zippers have rubber seams for water protection
removable thermal liner
Mesh base jacket with outside and inside pockets and button down collar.
Mesh base layer and outer nylon layer both have Badge holder.
Waist and forearm adjustments
Elbow, shoulder and back armor that are removable and upgradable.
cons:
The jacket runs small, and is short. So if you're a "larger" person you'll need a size larger, it tends to ride up and allows a draft in the winter. So go bigger to fit over a vest and/or heated liner.
if you have the type of half helmet with a velcro strap around the back of your head it tends to rub on the collar and will wear through (black electrical tape on helmet strap prevents this)
I would like to see button adjustment on the cuffs instead of the velcro but thats my preference .
Over all it's a great Jacket. But there's room for improvement
Maybe the next generation will have Cordura Nylon for better durability , upgraded body armor, better venting on the outer layer, more adjustments on the sleeves, and another 2-3 inches in length.

cone pattern 3
I purchased this jacket when it first came out. It is a multi-weather jacket. 1) cool, 2) cold and 3) really cold. Granted, I ride in Southern California so we don't experience Fargo cold. But the middle layer is the actual mesh type jacket with elbow pads and back protector. The collar snaps so the tips don't flap around and smack you in the face at highway speeds. If it's chilly out, you can insert the inner liner which creates warmth but keeps a nice vent so you don't get sweaty. Or attach the outer liner which prevents wind from flowing through the mesh. I've ridden at freeway speeds at 40-45 degrees and have kept warm (torso area at least) with two layers. I supposed if you are in real cold weather, you could use all 3 layers. It hasn't been that cold for me but I'm sure this jacket will still protect.

It is very form fitting and well designed. Great quality zippers and good size pockets and a loop to hold a mic.

Nothing looks better than a custom designed leather jacket, but this jacket looks and performs as good or better.

If the CHP can be comfortable all day in this jacket, I figured my commute would be great. And...it has been. I have even wrecked once with it on and you can't even tell, aside from the blood stain!
