A good product at a good price. Left front pocket was not sewn properly. I lost my house and PO Box keys from the hole in the pocket. Fixed for $2 by a local tailor. $9 for the PO Box key replacement. September 17, 2012

Answer: 
Do not expect any water protection from these pants. Only part of pant that I can validate for waterproof is the zipper on the fly of the pant.
