Quality suit The suit stays cool even on hot days. The quality on the suit is great January 28, 2014
Great suit I went up a size from the charts, fits right. Pilot weight is not a big issue, chest size and torso length are. October 28, 2013
Grab it while you can As soon as I found out Teknic is out of business, I had to get rhis suit. My current one Teknic Violator VR2 held up great over the years and I crash tested it pretty good this summer. I was really impressed by their TASC seam stitching. None of the seams opened up in my crash. Suit is still 100 percent. I'll sell it. I just wanted something newer, and kept my eye on excelerator for a while. Knowing they going out of business, I had to get it, especially for a closeout price! size 46 in both suits. I'm 6 ft. 175 lbs. Vr2 fit, but really tight everywhere. Xcelerator has just a bit more room, but fits pretty tight as well which I like better. Btw, it was my first purchase with Revzilla. These guys are awesome! I already put in my second order! Thanks October 14, 2013
Great product I'm doing trackday and this gear have a very good protect and airflow..thank September 23, 2013
great all around Fit: I'm 5'8, 172 lbs. Athletic build. Fits great in crotched down position, like its suppose to. Design and weight: great looking suit with just enough design to stand out. Weight is lighter and the flex panels are the perfect position to let my limbs and muscles move around Cost : Really?? Closeout deal. Unbeatable!! September 9, 2013
Nice suit! Great buy for the money! Love it! Not too comfortable when standing but absolutely perfect in the race position. July 15, 2013
Great Suit The Xcelerator is a great suit right off the hanger. Much thanks to Ed from Team Zilla for the sizing help because the suit is spot on. I'm 6' 170lbs and he said a 46 would be fine. I was a little worried at first but it fits perfect. Put on my bioforce pro shirt with just the chest and back protector and the suit feels just fine. Has all the bells and whistles that you'd expect from a track suit at this price point. My only gripe would be that the liner is NOT removable but for the price, I'd say it was a score. If you're worried about size, give'em a call. Get one before they're out of stock!! July 14, 2013
These leathers are the best for the price I previously owned Komodo leathers, which were very strong and heavy. After about 5 crashes I thought it was time to get new ones. These leathers were on sale and had kangaroo leather in them, so I bought a size 40. I am 5' 8" and 154lbs and when I first put the leathers on they fit like a glove that was too tight, but revzilla customer service told me this was the size to get so I kept them. After the first track day the leathers had already stretched out and felt much more flexible. I took them to an endurance race last weekend and rode for 1.5 hours in 95 degree heat. They vented well and did not wear me out from being too tight. I love these leathers. They feel about half the weight of my old ones and I probably should have bought two pairs. July 9, 2013

A shopper asked: Hey guys.
I'm 74 inches (6'2"), 180lbs, 36inch waist, with a 38 inch chest (without back or chest protector). I was thinking of picking up a size 46, would that be a good fit?
Thanks!

Stephen W: I'm 72 inches, 175lbs. I bought a 44 and 46 to figure out which fit best (Revzilla has a great return policy). I ended up keeping the 44. It's a snug fit, but perfect when in the crouched position on the bike. It's a bit tight it the crotch when standing, but I usually unzip when walking around so it's not a problem. My old suit was a 46 and after wearing the 44, the 46 seems baggy on me. With your height, I believe the 46 would work well, It may tight while walking around, but on the bike it should be a good fit. As a side note, it protects and holds up to crashes very well. I fell on the third day riding with this suit and I'm very glad I had it on. The protection in this one is far better than my old suit. Oct 21, 2013

Anthony Z: I would think that would be the correct size for you. For reference I have one of these suits in size 42, I am 5'11" 163lbs and waist 32-33' the size 42 is tight of me with a back protector on, if I try to stand up straight it is really tight and hard to do, but it protected me very well when I had a low-side at the track. I would rather have a tighter fitting suit anyway. I hope this helps. Oct 21, 2013

thomas c: That sounds about the right size. I bought a 40 for my 5' 8" frame. I just wanted to let you know I crashed in this suit twice and it actually ripped the leather. Not the seams, but the leather itself started to tear. It is repairable and still for $800 its worth the money, but I would have never paid $1500 for this suit. Oct 21, 2013

Mike M: I'm not going to make a recommendation, but as a reference, this might help as I have a similar build: I'm 6'1"+, 190 lbs, 41 inch chest, 34-35 inch waist. I went with a size 44. This is a tight, highly pre-formed race suit, but it fits well and there is room for a back protector. Oct 21, 2013

Scott L: I'm 5'10 170lbs 31" waist 40" chest and have a 42 (US) with Knox chest pro in the suit and A* back pro. Fit is snug but not uncomfortable after breaking in. I'd say a 46 should be a good fit. Oct 21, 2013

A shopper asked: Hi. I am 1.9m tall and weigh 90kgs.
Chest circumference about 42'and waist between 36"-37". What size would you recommend? Any other race suits I can look out for? I was actually looking at the chicane race suit but they seem to be out of stock for 44 and 46 which i believe i will fit either.
Have a TEKNIC Freeway jacket which i wear a USA 44 size and fits great. Look fwd to your reply.

Tu T: Hi There,

I bought this suit back in May and it's been great so far. I purchased a size 42 and it fits nicely. I'm 5'10, 160lbs waist 31/32. When I stand tall, the suit tightens up just enough for me to hunch over which is what you want, however there is a good amount of space for me if I gained more weight or added a back protector. The length of the legs on the suit could be a tad shorter for me but when I put my boots on, it holds up just fine.

Ian B: Hello Jashan,

I weigh 194 lbs and stand 6'1", 34 inch waiste. I tried the 46 but felt it was too big. I ended up with a size 44 and it feels good so far. I also wear an Alpinestars safety vest with chest protector and back protector. It's a little tight at first but after one track day the Teknic race suit loosened up and it felt great on the bike.
I hope this helps you. It's a great deal for this suit.

Jashan S: Hi ian, Do your sleeves fall short? Im about 2" taller than you so am worried about the leg and arm lengths of the suit Oct 17, 2013
Ming K: I'm 1.65m tall and weight in at 75kgs. I got the size 42 Xcelerator which is my chest size. Bit long and tight around my thigh area just above my knees. But overall, I like it. Hope this helps. Oct 14, 2013

ZekePolaris: You're almost the exact same size as me (I'm 5lbs heavier) and I had to grab the 46. It was an issue with the length from the crotch and hip to the shoulder being too short. The 46 fits me right to the wrist and maybe 1/2-1" above the ankle and that's with my Forcefield Pro Sub 4 back protector on. I have bigger thighs and such but there's still some slack. It's not painted on by any means, but it's not as tight as I would like in a crash scenario. As mentioned in my review, I may just have an odd body shape compared to others, so, take my advice with a small grain of salt. But, you know what the best thing is? Revzilla ships and exchanges for free!! Minus the $7.95 return shipping cost that comes out of pocket. Hope that helped.

^ That last bit totally seemed like a plug, haha.

Teknic jacket and race suits are European cut and are more narrow in the arms, chest and shoulders than other brands.  Their leathers are particularly form fitting.  RevZilla recommends ordering jackets and suits one size larger than Teknic size charts suggest.
