poor stitching fails after 5,000 miles
except for the poor stitching, these are awesome gloves.
Fortunately I never went down & tested the protection, but I feel very safe wearing them. Until today that is. The single stitching on the outside forefinger on each glove is coming undone. That is the same thread that holds the glove together on that side ! Upon close inspection, many of the other threads are starting to fray.
It has been more than a year since I bought them so the store ( not revzilla ) won't replace them. Another reviewer said he had his repaired by Teknic out of warranty, so I'll contact the manufacturer.
But for what these cost, I had much greater expectations.

Great glove poor construction.
After riding around 4000 miles, the stitching has come undone on both outside index fingers. The left 1/2' and right 1-1/2" leaving doubt that this will hold up when needed. As far as fit and function the glove performs well. Very good tactile feel and comfort combined with good ventilation. I ride in temps of 60-115 and fairly good comfort all around. One note on armor on knuckles, if brake is set tight to grip they can snag on application of brake.

Fantastic comfort and protection
I've been riding in these gloves for a few months now. Overall they are extremely comfortable. This was my first kangaroo palm glove and I must say it's far more comfortable than cow hide. It molds better to your skin and It doesn't bunch under your grip so you get far more tactile feedback. I have also enjoyed how the glove doesn't pull when you grip something due to the segmented panels on the fingers and on the dorsum of the hand - very inventive design.
The protection these gloves offer is stellar - plenty of hard parts, padding, and quality materials throughout and the Knox system on a glove at this price point is an added bonus.
Though the out-stitching is super comfortable it does increase the tendency for the stitching to fray over time from contact with the velcro closures. Also I've not a huge fan of the double cuff closure - it noticeably increases the time and effort it takes to don and remove the gloves. Other than this minor annoyance these really are an amazing pair of gloves.

Overall a very good glove
I've had these gloves for alittle more than two months now and I almost love them since they only required about a one hour break in time to form and feel as part of my skin, so overall they are a very good glove for those wanting a little more hand / palm and wrist protection even if your not doing track time runs on a pro circuit but where the risk of danger is more likely on the streets and back roads where the risk of asphalt or gravel contact is a threat due to the unforeseen road surface animal or auto incounter that could result in a unexpected spill.
The only down side is the time involved to remove these gloves due to the three velcro tabs that must be released before you can pull these gloves off with care.

Good glove for a good price
I can't attest to the protection these gloves provide since I haven't crashed in them, but they seem to be pretty stout. I like the hard plastic palm sliders. I bought a medium and they fit pretty tight, but after wearing them a few times, they broke in and fit well.

Great gloves for the price!!!
Finally bought myself full gloves!!! These gloves are amazing. Great quality, tons of protection! Leather has really nice feel to it! While gloves themselves fit perfectly I have a little bit of slack left in fingers. So for those who have long fingers these gloves will fit perfect!
They fit almost true to size. The reason I say so is that last gloves that I had, I had to break them in - they were too snug but once broke in I could forget that I have them. These ones probably will not need brake in period as they fit my palm perfectly, while fingers have a little bit space left.

awesome glove, best I've seen by far
I've got this glove as a replacement for a brand-new pair of Alpinestars SP-1's, and could not be happier. I have large hands and rather long fingers, and this is by far the best fitting glove I've ever worn in my life. I took a L in AGV, my SP1's were XXL and still too tight, and the Teknic's were XL. Perfect.
The kangaroo-hide palm leather is brilliant, providing good feel of all controls, and great grip. These are exceptionally well-built gloves. Almost everything that bears any load or tension is double-stitched, and they are 100% leather. The interior is lined with a fine cloth, so if your hands get sweaty (likely on a hot day, ventilation is this glove's biggest weakness), they are still not hard to remove.
They also come with hard plastic palm sliders, a feature I sorely missed on my previous gloves. They also have double-layer leather on the outer palm for slides. There are no finger-bridges (patented by Alpinestars, I believe), so finger roll may be an issue, but everything feels very well held together. I have not pranged yet, but given the build quality and level of protection, I'd feel pretty confident.
The only annoyance is the time it takes to get these things on and off, as they feature the 3-way strap of racing ganutlets. One across the wrist underneath, and two that strap onto the wristguard, but it all adds to the thickness of the protection.
5 star material, love them!

Very good, but...
First off I want to thank the guys at Revzilla for displaying amazing customer service. They truly went above and beyond for me to make sure my gloves got to me in time for a big ride that I had. Hats off gentleman... Now for the gloves, The leather is top notch and very soft. Little break-in if any required. It feels expensive. The Kangaroo really does make a big difference. Glove flex is excellent and the design works well. The glove has protection and sliders in all the right places. Plenty of padding in the key areas too. The construction feels like it is durable and would hold up well in an accident. Couple things about this glove that could be improved upon. Sizing, they fit about a size and a half large so make sure that you order at least one size smaller. I wear an XL in Arlen Ness and Alpinestars and I am between a Med and a Large in this glove. They also fit thicker hands. If you have skinny fingers there will be room in the width of the fingers and glove doesn't quite make it fit snugly. Venting is average at best. The airblade system in the knuckle protector doesn't move any air. The knuckle guard was described as carbon fiber in the video, It is actually carbon fiber "look" plastic and feels rather cheap. I'm sure it would hold up in an accident but at $170 it should not be fake anything. These are very good gloves. Not perfect but tell me one that absolutely is for under $200
