Finally bought myself full gloves!!! These gloves are amazing. Great quality, tons of protection! Leather has really nice feel to it! While gloves themselves fit perfectly I have a little bit of slack left in fingers. So for those who have long fingers these gloves will fit perfect!
They fit almost true to size. The reason I say so is that last gloves that I had, I had to break them in - they were too snug but once broke in I could forget that I have them. These ones probably will not need brake in period as they fit my palm perfectly, while fingers have a little bit space left.

I've got this glove as a replacement for a brand-new pair of Alpinestars SP-1's, and could not be happier. I have large hands and rather long fingers, and this is by far the best fitting glove I've ever worn in my life. I took a L in AGV, my SP1's were XXL and still too tight, and the Teknic's were XL. Perfect.
The kangaroo-hide palm leather is brilliant, providing good feel of all controls, and great grip. These are exceptionally well-built gloves. Almost everything that bears any load or tension is double-stitched, and they are 100% leather. The interior is lined with a fine cloth, so if your hands get sweaty (likely on a hot day, ventilation is this glove's biggest weakness), they are still not hard to remove.
They also come with hard plastic palm sliders, a feature I sorely missed on my previous gloves. They also have double-layer leather on the outer palm for slides. There are no finger-bridges (patented by Alpinestars, I believe), so finger roll may be an issue, but everything feels very well held together. I have not pranged yet, but given the build quality and level of protection, I'd feel pretty confident.
The only annoyance is the time it takes to get these things on and off, as they feature the 3-way strap of racing ganutlets. One across the wrist underneath, and two that strap onto the wristguard, but it all adds to the thickness of the protection.
5 star material, love them!

First off I want to thank the guys at Revzilla for displaying amazing customer service. They truly went above and beyond for me to make sure my gloves got to me in time for a big ride that I had. Hats off gentleman... Now for the gloves, The leather is top notch and very soft. Little break-in if any required. It feels expensive. The Kangaroo really does make a big difference. Glove flex is excellent and the design works well. The glove has protection and sliders in all the right places. Plenty of padding in the key areas too. The construction feels like it is durable and would hold up well in an accident. Couple things about this glove that could be improved upon. Sizing, they fit about a size and a half large so make sure that you order at least one size smaller. I wear an XL in Arlen Ness and Alpinestars and I am between a Med and a Large in this glove. They also fit thicker hands. If you have skinny fingers there will be room in the width of the fingers and glove doesn't quite make it fit snugly. Venting is average at best. The airblade system in the knuckle protector doesn't move any air. The knuckle guard was described as carbon fiber in the video, It is actually carbon fiber "look" plastic and feels rather cheap. I'm sure it would hold up in an accident but at $170 it should not be fake anything. These are very good gloves. Not perfect but tell me one that absolutely is for under $200

I've had these gloves for over a year now and can shed some light on these from personal experience. First off is sizing, I typically wear a small to medium glove. In the past, Teknic gloves run a little small, these run a little large, so my sizing is a small in these and once broken in still feel snug. Value for the money: when I first got the gloves, I realized that these were made for serious protection. I felt well protected wearing these over any of my other gloves. All the protectors covered the right areas on my hands so fit for me was spot on. I had worried about the scaphoid protectors getting in the way - but I never noticed them when riding. The double fold closure flaps as well as the wrist cinch helps keep the glove on and well placed on your hands. Don't expect much ventilation with these gloves though. I've ridden with them comfortably up to about 80 and down to about 50 relatively comfortably. But never once have I felt air ventilation. They do seem to breathe OK as I don't end up with sweaty palms like other gloves but they also don't let a lot of air in that you can "feel". With all the protection on the back of the hand and multiple layers to help with finger movement and dexterity, the back of the hands stay warmer than the plam area due to the thinner kangaroo leather used on the palm areas. The external stitching on the fingers make this an extremly comfortable glove as your fingers don't tend to catch on the stitching inside the glove. However this bring me to my only pointed weakness in this glove. After 1 year I noticed one of the seams coming apart on my left hand where the wrist cinch is sewn to the glove, leaving the wrist cinch dangling 1/2 way. Teknic customer service was wonderful and took it back even after the 1 year warranty for a repair. They really do stand behind their products. The other minor gripe is th really strong velcro used on the gauntlet area. recall I mantioned the external stitching on the fingers? Well whenever you put on the gloves the stiching gets caught in the hook parts of the velcro - and thereby catching the stiching and causing it to fray. None of the stitching on my fingers have actually come apart "yet" but once they do I feel these gloves would be pretty useless. I've since seam sealed them to protect them from further damage by the velcro. Other than that minor issue - the gloves are awesome.

Gloves with kangaroo palm at this price. Great price and shipping from Revzilla. Fit is on the large side. I am between a large and extra large depending on the brand and the large fit well and will not need to be stretched.

I've put about 1000 street miles on these gloves and one track day. The paper thin (but ultra strong) kangaroo leather palm offers superior feel, I can literally tie my helmet with the gloves ON with no problems. I can even operate my touch screen droid cell phone with these on! I'm normally a large in everything however I'm a medium in these gloves. The medium was a little tight but once I got them wet the gloves broke in perfectly. There is armor, padding, and double layers EVERYWHERE on this glove. The armor on the wrist and the palm sliders offer immense amounts protection. I feel these gloves are some of the best on the market, however they are not perfect. Here are my complaints:
1.) The threading on the fingertips have begun to fray and require periodic trimming.
2.) The off colored kangaroo leather palms stain VERY easily, and stay stained.
3.) There is hardly any ventilation, airflow truly sucks on these gloves.

The picture and video shows a glove that doesn't match up with the current one from Technic's official site. The most noticeable thing is the red stripe down the center. Also, msrp everywhere else is $219.99 including from the manufacturer so I'm wondering if this is a different model?

I purchased Teknic Xcelerator gloves from Revzilla, don't have the stripe, but it doesn't concern me as gloves are extremely well made, provide excellent protection, very comfotable to wear and have good airflow.

Answer: 
If distance from finger tip to end of glove is longer than 3/8" go down one size, otherwise you need to take into account the additional length needed while hands are wrapped around grips. Your fingers should never touch then end of the gloves when trying on or they will be too small while in use. The 3/8" rule is pretty reliable.

That is just fine. In cold weather this will actually allow an air pocket for warm air to be there that will help a little as far as keeping your fingers warm. I wear a size larger than you and have the same issue...

Teknic Jacket and Race Suits are European Cut and are more narrow in the arms, chest and shoulders than other brands.  Their leathers are particularly form fitting.  RevZilla recommends ordering Jackets and Suits one size larger than Tekinc size charts suggest.
