Nice gloves, but there's room for improvement These gloves are a bit bulky but pretty warm - a 45 minute ride at 40F was not a problem. I have not tried them in a serious downpour, but after an hour in a medium strength rain my hands were dry and warm. Even too warm to my taste - won't recommend these gloves for summer riding. The issue I have with them is that they are quite rigid, and in order to hold on to the handlebars I have to clench my fingers. That results in the cramps in my hands and fingers after about 30 minutes. May be they'll soften up when (or if) they completely break in, but so far it's quite uncomfortable. December 9, 2011

i'm a large in alpinstars gloves.
following the size chart im just over a medium and nearly a large but i read online that teknic gloves do tend to go bigger.
what do you recommend?

Answer: 
Alpinestars gloves tend to run smaller, therefore a medium in the Teknic Thunder WP Gloves should fit.

Teknic jacket and race suits are European cut and are more narrow in the arms, chest and shoulders than other brands.  Their leathers are particularly form fitting.  RevZilla recommends ordering jackets and suits one size larger than Teknic size charts suggest.
