More bang for a buck! A worthy purchase for Teknic fans. Yes, I'm well aware that Teknic is no more! Exactly why I went ahead and purchased a pair, besides the fact that it was on a huge sale (yes, here on this website!). Despite some shaky reviews regarding the hook eyelets coming loose, mine seem secure enough. (I was prepared to redo mine by using pop rivets.) It's true what they said about the lace being too short. Yep, but not too short that I'm unable to do double (more like 1 and an half) knots. As for comfort, it's equivalent of wearing a classic Converse sneaker. I improved mine by inserting shoe pads, slightly better now. The Velcro strap that some reviewers felt was too long is not supposed to be tightened as to provide ankle grip support like some boot designs do. Rather, it's intended to merely cover the lace knot, nothing more. There are no vents for airflow so don't expect anything. Those soft plastic inserts on the outside are just that. I do feel some reinforcements around the ankle area. The factory person who glued the sole to the shoe did a poor job, resulting in numerous spots of dried glue showing. The rubber sole is hard so beware when walking on slippery/oily floor. Lastly, my sole is white and after riding and walking for a couple of hours, is already brown-strained. Do I regret the purchase? No, I don't! As an owner of several Teknic products I'm disappointed to see the brand disappear. Farewell, it has been fun! October 20, 2014
Incorrect Sizing Chart. Sizing chart states that Euro 45 in U.S 10.5. This is incorrect. I ordered 45 and got 11 - as it should be. May 2, 2014
GREAT VALUE FOR THE $$$ This is great footwear for those who want protection but prefer not to wear a heavy boot. I highly recommend this alternative. March 24, 2014
Great Shoes The shoes looked and feel great. I got the black and white and they fit perfect. Save yourself some time and take them to a shoe repair shop and have them switch out the cleats for eyelets and get longer laces. Other than that they are awesome October 14, 2013
Bad fit for small ankle, bad quality hooks. A metal hook for laces fell apart after 5 or so uses. Looking at the other rivets, one or two may fail shortly. The strap across are suited for some one with large ankle. If I do it up tighty, there is very little (if none) velcro contact. So to have velcro contact I then have no ankle support. October 3, 2013
Excellent starter shoe/boot Ok so here is the rundown on this product. For the price it is worth every penny. Very stylish and most don't realize I'm boobosboots, they just like the new shoes. Air flow is amazing. The shoe string that come with are very thin, so I'd recommend replacing them, but I'm still using the ones that came with and no real issues. Heed this warning... I gave this boot a 3 for comfort b/c they are very VERY uncomfortable for the first 3 days while breaking them in due to being very stiff and thin leather. With that being said, after being broken in, they become a 5 in comfort, so I took the middle at 3. The strap is also kind of loose, but it is there... No biggie for me, b/c as the boot breaks in it will expand a bit. For the price, this boot is amazing and I'd recommend it to anyone. September 3, 2013
Great shoes, great price First pair of motorcycle boots and I love them. I wanted something I could wear around and not look like boots. These look like nice shoes wen worn around walking between rides. July 8, 2013
Great for a first timer. I'm a brand new rider that needed to get some gear, and I think these work great. They aren't the most comfortable for walking around in, so if you need to walk more than a couple blocks after parking your bike, you might want to consider something else. They feel like the offer great protection and make shifting much easier and nicer than just normal street shoes. July 1, 2013

RevZilla Store asked: Why did you choose this?
Mike D: Comfy Jun 7, 2014
Gregg A: So happy I got these. They are comfortable, run a little wide and are safe and easy to walk around in. I got a pair of Dr Scholes for added support and comfort.

One issue after 5,000 miles of riding this 1 year of owning, the top of toe is already worn out and starting to shred from shift. Not sure what the longevity of these shoes should be, but they have already worn down. Warranty Revzilla?? :)

A shopper asked: Do you have brands that you recommend for wider feet? I've found Joe Rockets and S/S run wide, but I don't like the flimsy construction of those brands Aug 8, 2012

Christopher L: I have a slightly wider foot that normally causes me aches by the toes. This shoe/boot fit PERFECT using Revzilla's advice on getting a half size smaller (which I was a little reluctant about) and AFTER they broke in. I did feel a little tightness by the sides of my toes where they meet my foot, but that went away after break-in. Review their no-hassle return policy. It'll be well worth it if these fit you. If not, utilize said policy. Good luck. May 27, 2013

Teknic jacket and race suits are European cut and are more narrow in the arms, chest and shoulders than other brands.  Their leathers are particularly form fitting.  RevZilla recommends ordering jackets and suits one size larger than Teknic size charts suggest.
