Teknic Chicane Street Gloves
Withing 2 days of wearing these in VERY light use, the thumb had already been split wide open. When I say light use, I am talking a few k here, a few k there. Then split. The gloves only set me back about 30 bucks, so I'm not terribly disappointed, but I wouldn't recommend these to other riders unless you are on a super tight budget and are willing to do patchwork almost immediately after purchase.

Alot of glove for the coin
I size out about like Anthony in the video and he is right on the money. A lot of protection for the price point. I am going to order another pair for backup duty!!!! They look great also...

Best bang for the buck
I'm a new rider, and this was my first pair of gloves. I chose them because they were inexpensive, yet looked good and had many of the features found in higher end gloves. They do not disappoint. The fit is great, air flow is good, and protection seems excellent. The only minor flaw is some of the stitching could be better, but overall this is a great product. Too bad Teknic is going out of business.

I got these gloves because they weren't very expensive and looked good. They turned out to be great gloves, they have a nice fit and are comfortable. They breathe well and offer good protection.

Cannot say enough good things about these gloves...
They fit great - their sizing was spot on. The airflow was above average thanks to the perf. leather on the top and they are simply comfortable.
I have put about 10-15 hours in them on the road in the past week or two and they have felt completely comfortable since day 1. They've continued to get better as they've broken in and they show almost no wear in that time. Comfort and quality - exactly what I expected from Teknic, exactly what I got at an amazing price. Wish they weren't going out of business - I'm a 100% believer in their products.

First pair of motorcycle gloves I've ever purchased. (I'm a noob)
Very nice quality leather used, feels beefy and seems like it'll have excellent abrasion resistance.
Looks very cool and has very good ventilation.
I've used these gloves through 2 full days of MSF class in 90+ degree July weather in NY and can vouch for the ventilation.
The only downside is that although the palm area fits very well, the fingers are set to be very long.
I have fairly long fingers as well... but these gloves are almost E.T. grade long fingers.
So you either end up pulling the gloves on all the way to fit the fingers (and taking the knuckle shield a little off alignment from your own knuckles) or you leave a little room empty at the fingers.
As far as the breaking in process... The left glove (from clutch use) middle finger was kinda chaffing the skin (because the little rubbery armor didn't flex with the movement) but after a few weeks of regular use... it's moving well.
Overall, gloves are holding up well, probably expect to use them for the rest of this year and the next

too bad Teknic is going out of business - great gloves!
these were recommended by the staff at Revzilla due to my wide, long fingered hands. i had to return the largest pair of Alpinestars gloves available as they weren't wide enough, and these Teknic chicane gloves fit like a....well, glove should. the fingers still aren't long enough, but were comparable to the Alpinestars, and these are plenty wide enough. well made, too - but this glove doesn't have much air ventilation. great protection, but if it's one of our hot and humid MI days, you might want to look for a more airy glove. i'll wear these on cool mornings and spring/fall. overall, i'm impressed with the quality that Teknic (did) put out!
