Great Jacket Just received this jacket and love it. It is made very well. I am 5'10" Tall 205LBS. I measure 44" but I purchased the 46" so that I could wear a sweatshirt under it. It fits excellent. It is a little stiff but after wearing it a few times it does soften up. Great value. May 12, 2013

Are the lightning bolt designs on the back of the jacket reflective? How about the similar looking stripes in the front? Also is the "Armorshield" back protection CE rated?

Answer: 
The Teknic Apex Jacket features 3M reflection located just below the neck on the back. The thunderbolt accents on the back is white leather. The back protector can be upgraded to a TP2-shaped back protector for CE 1 or higher performance but the included spine guard is not CE-rated.

Teknic jacket and race suits are European cut and are more narrow in the arms, chest and shoulders than other brands.  Their leathers are particularly form fitting.  RevZilla recommends ordering jackets and suits one size larger than Teknic size charts suggest.
