Falls off tank easily on Panigale Was very hopeful for this because it works great on other motorcycles I've owned. First of all, there's a Toutube video specifically for the installation of this product on the Ducati Panigale. I applied it from the TechSpec Logo as instructed and inched it towards the seat with a heatgun... the piece stopped sticking after a few hard rides and some rain and now it won't really stick to the tank. Perhaps the material is too thick for the odd curvature of the Panigale's gas tank, or the adhesive is not strong enough. I cant recommend this product for this motorcycle. October 22, 2015
This product has been nothing but a problem! Nothing but problems. Followed instructions exactly and product would never adhere fully to my tank. Talked to another rider with same bike as mine and he has the same issues. We talked about preping tank and he said he was adamant with following directions also. Both of own 1199 Panigale... If I Could Get It To Stay... I have tried everything (including YouTube) to get these pads to stay on the tank. I followed the instruction to the letter, and the edges just won't stick. I am OCD about the look of my 899 and with the edges of the pads not sticking, I removed them from the tank. I am ASSUMING they would work great if they stuck to the tank. So now I have 85 dollar tank pads sitting in my trailer collecting dust. I can't recommend them just because of my experience with them. Sorry TechSPec I tried almost a dozen times to get them to stick and it was a no go for me. October 2, 2015
All right Works greats, but edges peel up. If you are using for performance purpose it works greats, but my edges peeled up, but still stuck on great and allowed to grip the tank efficiently. From afar it still looked great, but if you are snob Ducati owner where everything has to be pristine you may be disappointed. Don't get worked up, I'm a snob Ducati owner, but the performance out-ways the looks on the track. September 21, 2015
Great look and great performance Excellent grip and performance along with a crisp look on the tank and fairings. These were a big help on and off the track and I highly recommend them for anyone looking for more grip. August 3, 2015
Product is great I purchased this product to protect my bike and to have some more grip. It is working great on both accounts. Seems very durable and it is very sticky. Loving it so far. June 15, 2015
Good product, needs delicate fit These tank pads for the Ducati 899 are critical to get a good feel and grip on the bike really. The 899 tank is small and slippery but these tank pads provide the needed grip. I have the white version of the bike and the black pads look like a stock part; they look really nice and the black is the same color as the seat and other black parts on the bike so they just blend right in. The sticky material does allow for readjustments to be made which is critical with these pads. I had some problems at first with a couple edges coming up on the big side tank pads. You really have to get any internal stresses worked out of the pad for it to set well against the tank and not lift up. I wouldn't use a heat gun for this task as it will just mask your own errors. This does take a little effort (~10 min and some patience and maybe try again a day or two later once you see how it’s behaving on its own). Start at the bottom right edge and get it fixed first as seen in the youtube video. Even in that video though you can see his final work has a large bunch in it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9vLffNrPRcQ Work up and out from there allowing the material to move naturally into its final position. The main tank crease is tricky but it will fit perfectly. Carefully work out any bunching, torque, or pulling and ensure the internal stresses are gone. The pad is designed really well and will fit perfectly but if you are having trouble with edges peeling away there is still some work to do to untwist the material a little. The glue will not accommodate for these errors because it is sticky enough to hold on but will allow you to remove the pad and reapply it. Double edged sword but I'd rather have an adhesive that will not take the paint with it when it comes time to refresh the pads. All in all I'm very happy with them now that I have the kinks worked out and wouldn't own an 899 without them. I have leather pants as well and the leather works really nicely with this rubber material. June 14, 2015
Good but some issues Looks pretty good and works too. Definitely feel more stable in all conditions on the bike. Its very difficult to line them up on both sides though (so that both sides are symmetrical). The tank is curvy and hard to find good reference points. Also, because of the contour of the tank, some of the adhesive around the out side does not stay down (and yes, I did use a warm tank and heat gun to aid the install per the instructions). I have the same product for my Street Triple and had none of these issues. Not really sure why. May 18, 2015

Sean L: The added grip and control these pads offer is great. I choose not to use the tank pads but the knee pads are great for comfort, control and protection of the bike. Aug 24, 2015
Thomas S: I've seen others who have these pads. They looked great and all said they really made a big difference... Jul 23, 2015
James B: It seemed to offer the most grip and durability for my needs at the track. Jun 8, 2015
Ken W: high quality, good reputation. Jun 2, 2015
Ghassan E: Perfect fit for my Ducati and needed on the track to reduce fatigue mainly on hands followed by legs May 24, 2015
AJAY P: I saw this product on my friend's Panigale S and I rode his bike to get a feel of it. Amazing grip and stability when leaning in corners. I was sold! I need to have these for my future track days to help improve my body position and confidence while cornering. So got one! Mar 19, 2015
Brandon B: Excellent grip and coverage on the Panigale, yet still comfortable with thin pants. I like the grippy feel that's not spiky like Stompgrips. Very durable and the gloss black looks good against the red. Dec 15, 2014
Kevin G: I bought a set of Eazi-Grips online and what showed up looked like a floor mat cut up by a pair of scissors. Should've gotten the TechSpecs to begin with. Have seen these on other bikes at the track and they look great - clearly molded to fit the bike correctly. Jul 27, 2014
