Everything Anthony promised and a good value to "boot".
I bought these for my wife a few weeks before an extended motorcycle trip to Lexington, KY. She watched the presentation that Anthony gave on-line and gave the thumbs-up. When she received them and put them on, she remarked how comfortable they were and how easy they were to walk in. We just came back from our 10 day trip and she has nothing but high praise for the boots. If you have a half size, order the next full size for a good fit. She normally wears an 8.5 shoe and the 9.0 fit her perfectly. These are a good value.

Love these boots.
I am new to motorcycling and took a chance on these boots. I love them! I'm an 8.5, somewhat narrow foot, so got the Euro size 40 and they fit perfectly right out of the box. They are well made, and they look good too. Since they are leather, they are a bit warm for summer riding, but worth the protection. Highly recommend them!

Stylish and Tailored Boot
The boot is very stylish and is tailored to a woman's foot, meaning it is not clunky or "dwarish" if you know what I mean. The leather is smooth and seems strong. Fortunately I have not had a chance to test it. I am short, 5'2 and the boot can be worn over or under jeans. In the photo, I am wearing the boots with skinny jeans and they look pretty good. The boots are protective and still nimble enough for me to feel my gears. They will need to be worn in a bit, but you can do this by wearing them around the house for the afternoon. As for the comfort, I wore the boots for about 5 hours and my feet didnt hurt or they were not overtly uncomfortable. Airflow is also really good. My feet were not hot or unbearable after a day of riding in So Cal. I would def recommend these to another rider. The only comment is that I dont know if this style would fit well with a rider who has wide feet. My feet are fairly narrow and they fit like a glove.

I love these boots!
I have had trouble in the past finding a boot that isn't so narrow in the ankle that I can't get them on. I followed the advice of the other reviewers and both listened to the video and spoke with one of the very well informed customer service folk. I had to wait a day to get the boots because the post office won't deliver to my home because the delivery gal is terrified of my puppies. So I went to the post office to pick them up and rushed home with lots of trepidation to try them on. No worries, they slipped right on. We rode all weekend long on the beautiful NC mountain roads and they were pretty comfortable. The little discomfort I felt will go away after I ride a few more times. I am very happy with this purchase and with Revzilla. I highly recommend these boots ... and they are attractive too!

Great Boots...totally impressed!
These boots came to me really fast and free shipping to Hawaii just as promised.
I had purchased them based on reviews by other customers. I wanted something different from the usual "cruiser" style boots I had been wearing for the last 20 years of riding.
I've purchased all kinds of brands and price ranges and I like the look and features of these boots.
They arrived last Friday and I wore them for a half-day ride out to the hot, leeward end of O'ahu. At first they were a little stiff and it took a little while to get used to them. On the way home, there was an accident on the freeway and I was stuck in stop and go traffic for an hour and the boots stayed comfortable in spite of 95-degree heat.
The following day i wore them again on a ride out to the north shore and got caught in a driving downpour with no opportunity to pull over and put on rain gear.
I got some rain down the calf-portion of the boots but that was to be expected.
By the time I got home I was literally soaked to the skin through my jacket, jeans and socks down to my ankles. The only part of me that was dry was my feet and the top of my head because of my helmet.
BTW-at one point I had pulled into a gas station for shelter and the parking lot looked like a lake and when I pulled out, water flowed over my boots and they still stayed dry inside.
Also, I had to walk a couple of hundred yards at one point (before it rained)and the boots were quite comfortable for walking even though they were brand new.

Great features and value - get 1/2 size smaller
I am new to riding, so I had no frame of reference for brands, features, or fit when I purchased the Lady Aura boots. I did a lot of research and these seemed to have everything that I was looking for: protection, durability, versatility. I have used them several times and now know that I made a great choice. A few things I've noticed: The toe is shaped to easily fit under the shifter. These boots run large. I actually take a size 10, but bought a size 9 1/2. While the boots were a bit tight in the toe area at first, they eased up and are comfortable to walk around in now. I have very thin, narrow feet and I've noticed that I have a lot of room in the boot above my foot. This does not affect performance, but you might notice it if you're walking around in them. I have not tried them in the rain, but, judging from the excellent construction, I am sure they are thoroughly waterproof. Protection seems great and I'm grateful that I haven't had to test it out! They have not scratched or scuffed. Bottom line: I'm really happy with this purchase!

Good boot, if a bit narrow
My wife needed some new riding boots, and after trying several different ones, we settled on these. They are not very wide, so it makes them a little of a snug fit, but they aren't bad when riding, just walking around gets snug. They have good protection and are overall some pretty nice boots. She would definitely recommend them for someone who wants a safe boot that doesn't look like a storm trooper.

Love TCX boots!
This is my second pair of TCX boots. I've had my first pair for over 4 years and I still wear them for road trips. I bought these new ones because I ride to work daily and I needed something to wear in the office that looked nicer and wasn't all scuffed up and dirty. The fit on these boots is the best I've ever experienced, and I've tried all types of boots from high end to low end boots... I always send them back. The space for the toes is perfect... most other boots are too big and my toes feel like their swimming yet the next sized down is usually too small for my foot toe-to-heel. I definitely recommend getting the size that is a half size smaller than normal for you or they may be too loose all-around. The weatherproofing is great, yet they breathe very well, and I don't end up with "stinky foot smell" when I take them off each day. They offer great protection for the foot and ankles while not being so stiff that I can't walk in them. The only thing I'm not sure of is the front of these new boots stands out from my shin by a couple inches, so if I get caught in a rain storm, the rain is going right down the boot. Ideally I will have my rain gear with me and be able to stop and put it on and it will cover the opening, but there is that chance I won't, and my feet will get flooded. I also love the half zipper with velcro enclosure. The tab on the zipper has velcro on both sides so you can be sure it is secured in the velcron enclosure and won't slide down. It's the attention to detail like that, that makes me really love these boots! 4 or 5 years from now, when these boots are all scuffed up, I will again be looking at buying a new pair of TCXs! The quality, fit, finish,.and protection make them well worth every penny!!

Technical features but passes as a fashion boot
I wanted a plain black boot that would protect my feet and shins, but that I could wear into work or a restaurant. This does the job. It has a small heel and narrow foot bed, so they don't look like gear when worn under boot cut jeans. The top part is a bit scratchy but that could be addressed with long socks. The air flow is just ok, but not any worse than I would expect. Overall, they're a pretty good pair of boots. As with just about all motorcycle boots, they're pricey.

Everything I was looking for
I am thrilled with my purchase. The TCX Aura boots are not only great fitting, but have all the protective features I was looking for and a narrow toe (not narrow toe box) allowing easy gear shifting (esp. if you are a newbie like me).

I haven't walked long distances with the boot (why would you?) but they do not hurt walking as others have.

The elasticized back panel is great - providing more comfort.

Reading other reviews, I was concerned that the toe box would be too narrow and calf circumference too small. I am flat footed with little to no arch, however, I have no problems with the boot riding.

Haven't tried them in the rain so I can't comment on that but easy in-out and a great boot.

I bought these boots ~18 months ago as a new rider & have worn them for every single ride (~4500 miles) since. They're comfortable to wear while riding & while walking around; they look great; they're holding up great; and they offer great protection at a great price. Yes, I'm using "great" a lot to describe these boots, but they really are outstanding! :)

These boots are extremely comfortable, and I've used my old pair for every ride for the past 5 years, rain or shine. They've kept my feet dry, and when wearing my jeans, don't look like motorcycle riding boots. Well worth the money. I wanted another pair before I wear these ones out.

I own a pair of TCX Air Tech Gore-Tex boots and they've been great over the last 6 months and about 13,000 miles. We've just ordered these for my wife and I anticipate just as good a product.

These boots saved my daughters foot when the F800GS pivot pegs clipped a tree sideways and pinched the boot. If she wasn't wearing these boots the peg would have cut her big toe and part of her foot off.

Do any of your womens touring motorcycle boots come in wide, specifically size 10ww
A shopper on Aug 12, 2012
BEST ANSWER: There are no Women boots available in wide size. However, TCX is the brand that fits the widest, and we generally recommend that brand for people with a wider foot bed.
? I have seen a pair of tcx aura boots on a web site they say they are made in Romania 8013/w1 are they right or repro would like a anwser all the best
A shopper on Jun 23, 2014
BEST ANSWER: That is correct. Made in romania. Try punctuation.
I was wondering about the inside where the water protection part folds in behind the zip, how thick is this layer and does it impact on your shin when the boot is closed? I had a pair of boots on that had a leather folding section and it was positioned right on my shin when folded which was really uncomfortable.
A shopper on Nov 24, 2013
BEST ANSWER: The folding section is on the inner side of your leg and I do not find it bulky or uncomfortable. This is the only pair of boots I have had so I have nothing to compare them to. I find the boots are quite easy to get off and on. I am not a very large person and my legs and ankles are fairly skinny. I was a bit concerned before purchasing them because if I remember correctly they are advertised as being a bit narrow. My foot is an average to a bit on the wide side but they are very comfortable and fit perfectly. I ordered my regular shoe size. Hope this is helpful.
Hello,

I'm just wondering the circumference/measurement of the top of the boot, which is for the calf.

Thank you,

f
A shopper on Aug 7, 2012
BEST ANSWER: We measured a size 7 boot, and found that the circumference varied from about 11inches to almost 13 inches when the stretch panel was fully expanded. However its important to note that the boot is more of a 3/4th length boot, and thus depending on the proportions of your leg the boot may not come up high enough to reach the fullest section of your calf.
I'm not that tall and was wondering if these boots would give me an extra inch? Two inches? Thanks.
A shopper on Apr 9, 2012
BEST ANSWER: The TCX Ladies Aura Boots will grant you about an extra 1-1/4" on the heel.
I have tried the icon Eastside boots and found them quite angled/racing style which prevents me from walking without the boot digging into my calf.

These look more upright, is that the case? Just wondering whether I'll be able to walk short distances in these

Thanks
A shopper on Aug 6, 2016
BEST ANSWER: I have found these boots to be very comfortable for walking around in. They are not too angled or stiff, probably more of a touring style rather than a racing style. They are also very comfortable on the bike. I've been very happy with them so far.
Do half sizes go up or down? Should I go up to the size 8 or down to a 7?
A shopper on Jun 26, 2016
BEST ANSWER: I went by the size chart, and it seemed to work out for me. I am a 6.5 in most shoes/boots, and a 37 normally in European sizing. But I went with the 38 for these as indicated on the size chart, since it showed 6.5 corresponding to a 38 and they fit great. I do think they run a little smaller/more narrow, so I would say to size up if you are between sizes.
I normally wear a 38 (7.5 US) in Birkenstocks. Would you recommend I get a 39 in these boots? Thanks
A shopper on Sep 24, 2014
BEST ANSWER: My wife wears a 6.5 in US so purchased the 39 (EU) which fit well with a bit of extra room. She feels the sizing is right on so stay as close to the sizing chart as you can. So I think the 38 should be right for you (though I don't know if comparing them to a sandal sizing is the best route - maybe a sneaker that fits you?)

When I called to order these I explained that my wife doesn't like boots that are snug around the ankles. The customer service rep offered to call me back after she had tried on a number of different pairs - settling on these for the best fit in the ankle area. Great customer service!

Good luck!
I was looking at these boots to compliment or replace my HD Lexa boots. I like that the Icon 1000 Elsinore boots look like they aren't injection moulded in the outsole which from what I've found by talking to a sales guy at a local shoe store is that companies do this so that they can force you to buy a new pair of shoes or boots because it's almost impossible to repair something with this kind of outsole. Do they have this kind of outsole?

I have no problems with this boot other than that. About the only reason I'd replace a pair of boots is if they were so worn that the safety features became useless, or if the new pair of boots had a large improvement that I saw of value. I also don't like how we've become so throw it away and buy a new so paying quite a bit for a boot just to have to throw it out because I can't have a new sole mounted seems dumb financially to me. Of course TCX and other companies probably love this idea.

The only thing I found that you can do to an injection moulded outsole is cut the sole with a saw halfway towards the boot ( think of re treading a 18 wheeler tire) and glue on a new outsole.
A shopper on Aug 14, 2014
BEST ANSWER: I'm not absolutely sure, but I think this kind of sole can't be replaced.
These boots look more upright angled. Is that the case? I found the icon Eastside (sz 40) angled too much such that it really dug into my calf walking.

How are they for short walks off the bike?

Thanks
