TCX S-Race Boots - White
I'm On My Second Pair -- Best Boots Yet.
I've owned A-Stars (several pairs), Sidi, and briefly, a pair of Garne that had to go back. Hands down, these are the best boots yet. An added bonus is that if, like me, you have wide feet (I wear a 9.5 double E in New Balance; 10 (euro 43) in some dress shoes), these will fit you well, and not leave you feeling pinched. The built quality is very very good, and they stand up to heavy use (not to mention all but the nastiest weather) with no problems. Have not crashed in them, but the level of support / armor, and protection is pretty burly, and should be ideal for all spirited street & light track use. The engineers / designers aren't resting on their laurels, either; my second pair is more technologically evolved than the first, which was no slouch. You won't want to go hiking in them, but fine & comfortable enough for a bit of walking around during breaks. Highly recommended.

Love this Boot
I was in the market to invest in a more serious pair of boots and these fit the bill perfectly. I have been a huge fan of the SMX-5 boots but I did my share of research before eventually ending up with these. I couldn't be more happier with my decision. The features on this boot are excellent and so is the quality. The TCS system is great, same goes for the aluminum Toe sliders, the venting in the shin guard, the ankle protection etc...just too many things. It's obvious the amount of thought gone into every detail of this boot. The RS-2 and newer versions have even more features and are brilliantly designed but at this price ($229) this is the winner. It is true to size, but the width of the shoe is average...I have fairly wide feet but it's not at all uncomfortable. Overall, this boot gets my vote.

Comfort and bang for buck
First off, I'd like to comment on the shopping experience. I ordered online and the boots arrived quickly. After I opened the package, I found some minor stitching fray along the zippers. I contacted Revzilla and they shipped out the replacement before I could even send back the 1st pair. 5-stars service !
Now the boots.... They are true to euro size. I have wide feet, high arch with narrow ankles and these boots are almost perfect fit out of the box. The width fits my forefoot very well, snug without feeling tight. Once broken in it felt very comfy.
Out of the box, the heel cup felt a little loose in these boots. There was some heel lift when I try to tip toe. Luckily this was easily remedied with a contoured insole. The insole also provided arch support.
I have the opposite problems w/ Sidi's: snug heel and tight forefoot. It was much easier to make the TCX work for me then the Sidi's. With contoured insoles, the TCX now fits perfectly.
Compared to my previous boots (Gaerne G.Flow, more flexi) I had to make some adjustments to the shift lever work better. It took me about 8 hours of riding to fully break the boots in.
I like all the protective features and also the fact that the boots has a more subtle look is a plus.
Overall, very good performance for the (close out) price. I would highly recommend them.

They're awesome! I haven't logged a ton of miles on them, maybe 800km or so (including one track day), but I love them. They're super comfy, I think they look great, and I really like the protection they offer from excessive extension and flexion. These were an upgrade for me from my alpine stars fastlane, and I almost never wear the fastlanes now since getting the S-race.
I had a really long shift at work one day, wearing some worn out work boots, and my feet were a little sore afterwards so I walked around the house my TCX boots instead since they're so comfortable.
The boots offer a good deal of protection; the shin guard looks pretty solid, I really, really like the torsion control system, and the leather and lorica looks to be pretty thick.
They didn't need to be broken in at all, I wore them right out of the box without any issues. I'd highly recommend them!

Overall nice boot but large in the ankle/calf
I got these boots because I was looking for a boot with a good amount of protection for a good price that would be wearable on or off the bike.
Out of the box they seem to be well put together and overall just as the video indicated. Trying them on they definitely felt comfortable enough to walk around in without any break in time.
The fit unfortunately was a bit weird. My feet measure between 10.5-11 and are wide. Generally I get 11's or if they're narrow 11 EE's. For me these fit well in the forefoot in terms of width, lengthwise I had just enough room. The problem I had was in the ankle, above the ankle and calf, all which were very loose. I did stick a pair of Superfeet Insoles in and that largely solved the problem of the ankle area. The calf was still very loose, even when I adjusted it as tight as I could. I did try wearing them over a pair of pants which did work somewhat but I intended to wear these under the pants leg to be a bit more discreet, so unfortunately I'm sending them back.

Excellent product, battle-tested
Was hit and crashed in my Spidis and protection was good but the boots were destroyed, so I needed a new pair - ended up getting the TCX as I felt that I needed more protection and it looked like it could roll with the punches.
Ended up being rear-ended in a hit-and-run the same day I got the boots and ended up with a concussion and broken collarbone but my feet were protected all the way and the boots are still in great shape.
So all in all a great product, definitely battle-tested and recommended, especially since it was on sale when I got it. If you ride aggressive (or have real bad luck), these are the boots for you.

I love these boots!
I have a pair of the TCX Race Air that I bought for the warm temps here in So. Cal, but I don't really wear them when the temps drop as they really flow a lot of air. So I ended buying the not non-vented version because I liked them so much. The TCX line seems to fit my foot, dare I say it, "like a glove". They are comfortable and feel very sturdy and I don't have an issue walking around in them. Although they are "race" boots, I wear them for any "spirited" riding and for track days and sometimes sport-touring rides. I've even wore them on a commute once or twice. I feel really well protected when wearing these!

med quality, med pricing
They squeak like heck when walking. The zipper by design has a very tight pull spot at top of foot and is plastic, so I expect it to fail. Should be a metal zipper for longevity. Not as rigid as a Sidi boot in same price range. The nose guards should be more conforming to the boot. Where the two pieces meet sticks out and looks like coming off but isn't. At this price I feel they should come with an extra set of guards not just the screws. I hope by the time I need new guards they are still available.
