Stompgrip Tank Pad Honda CBR600RR 2007-2012
Spendy but high quality
I'll admit I have trouble parting with $50+ for two pieces of rubber, but these things work great, look good, and stay put. I've had them on two bikes now that I use for track days and you can't beat the grip they give you when hanging off or under hard braking.

Has been on my bike for three months.
I have used it on my bike for two to three months. It was a dramatic improvement compared to my naked tank but it doesn't feel as ' grippy' as I would like. If I could do it again I would get the tech spec. The only reason I don't change to the tech spec is because they don't have the clear snake skin design (snake skin gives you max surface area but allows very minor movement in each 'scale' to keep ahold of you compared to knobs holding you). Don't get me wrong, this is a good product and with surface preparations, it wont come off. It boils down to preference. It's holds me well under heavy braking but I do slide a little under heavy acceleration, but it still does the job. No the knobs don't hurt or feel uncomfortable; but they might if you wear shorts (which is a poor decision but a decision for you to make none the less). Safe riding friends, and as my father says, keep the rubber down.

gives extra grip to the legs. not that different for the street. but the extra grip in the legs adds confidence when cornering on the track for sure.
not too bad an install. didn't use hair dryer or any nonsense. even put it on and pulled it off once to realign without issue.
got the clear and it looks almost perfect

Best $ I've spent on my ride!
(2008 CBR600RR) I got a more comfy seat for longer distances. While it helped my 'saddle area' greatly, it changed the ergos just enough to make it uncomfortable everywhere else and amplified a problem I hadn't otherwise noticed. Being able to properly grip the tank makes a world of difference in just tooling around town as well more aggressive riding. Why don't bikes come with these from the factory?

Sticks like cement!
Very good material, Very solid, only problem was I didn't like how it looked on the tank it overlapped on the curve. Very hard to see. Wish it was cut better.

Does it's job
This grip pad does exactly as advertised, adds a ton of grip and stability, primarily underbraking, when you really pushing the bike on the track. A worthwile mod if you plan on trackdaying. No evidence of peeling yet after several track days.

Great grip. Better feel on bike. Big pain to install.
Installed on a white 07 cbr600rr. Used the dry method and followed instructions with heat gun. The bottom black grips went on very easy, and aligned perfectly, no fuss. The top clear grip was another story. Alignment was a little fuzzy because there are no solid edges to go off of. Eye balled it the best I could. Off the bat, the paper backing is super hard to remove cleanly at first. I removed an inch of paper at a time. Pressing pad forward unto tank with thumbs is torture. Tiny air bubbles are inevitable especially if you peel back paper a little at a time. From afar you can't see the tiny air bubbles though probably because bike it pearl white. On top of that the pad stretches as you press forward with thumbs. Unfortunately got one medium air bubble pocket which is unsightly from seat height. After it was applied i used a golf ball to press down with greater force. My suggestion is to use the wet method for top and dry fit the bottom. I was hesitant the soap water would impact adhesion but whatever impact it would have is worth being able to fine tune fitment and roll out all bubbles. With dry fitting, the glue instantly binds to the fairing and air bubbles cannot be pressed out or mitigated. Looks good overall all. Well worth the effort. Feels like i can drag my knees now. Waiting three days to adhere is excessive... but did it anyways.
