Good 'n Easy They do a great job holding me on the bike when I'm sideways on the track. Easy to install. They come with a large clear piece and a thing black strip (for frame probably, but I stuck mine on the tank). Look good, work good. November 17, 2015
Could be better if fitted for my bike I have used Stomp tank pads before on a number of my sport bikes. The newest set I bought was for my 2010 CBR600RR. When I went to install them I was a little disappointed in how they made the shape of these for this bike. I did end up using them but ONLY after I cut them down to a much better shape to fit the tank & design shown on the tank. Their original shape went very high on the tank where your knees would never even go. Plus going as high as they did they covered half of the red stripe Honda put on the tank. I cut them down (using a razor knife & a metal straight edge & made then look much better on that bike & did not eliminate any of the functional surface. They last three bikes I used them on, they fit great (07 GSXR 750 & 1000 & 05 CBR600RR). September 29, 2015
Spendy but high quality I'll admit I have trouble parting with $50+ for two pieces of rubber, but these things work great, look good, and stay put. I've had them on two bikes now that I use for track days and you can't beat the grip they give you when hanging off or under hard braking. August 3, 2015
Has been on my bike for three months. I have used it on my bike for two to three months. It was a dramatic improvement compared to my naked tank but it doesn't feel as ' grippy' as I would like. If I could do it again I would get the tech spec. The only reason I don't change to the tech spec is because they don't have the clear snake skin design (snake skin gives you max surface area but allows very minor movement in each 'scale' to keep ahold of you compared to knobs holding you). Don't get me wrong, this is a good product and with surface preparations, it wont come off. It boils down to preference. It's holds me well under heavy braking but I do slide a little under heavy acceleration, but it still does the job. No the knobs don't hurt or feel uncomfortable; but they might if you wear shorts (which is a poor decision but a decision for you to make none the less). Safe riding friends, and as my father says, keep the rubber down. April 27, 2015
nice grip gives extra grip to the legs. not that different for the street. but the extra grip in the legs adds confidence when cornering on the track for sure. not too bad an install. didn't use hair dryer or any nonsense. even put it on and pulled it off once to realign without issue. got the clear and it looks almost perfect October 13, 2014
Best $ I've spent on my ride! (2008 CBR600RR) I got a more comfy seat for longer distances. While it helped my 'saddle area' greatly, it changed the ergos just enough to make it uncomfortable everywhere else and amplified a problem I hadn't otherwise noticed. Being able to properly grip the tank makes a world of difference in just tooling around town as well more aggressive riding. Why don't bikes come with these from the factory? October 6, 2014
Sticks like cement! Very good material, Very solid, only problem was I didn't like how it looked on the tank it overlapped on the curve. Very hard to see. Wish it was cut better. September 29, 2014
Does it's job This grip pad does exactly as advertised, adds a ton of grip and stability, primarily underbraking, when you really pushing the bike on the track. A worthwile mod if you plan on trackdaying. No evidence of peeling yet after several track days. March 31, 2014

A shopper asked: Does this wrap the front of the tank, protecting the area where the rider's crotch would be? I want it to protect the tank from zipper-wear as well as be grip for my knees. Apr 27, 2014

Tim N: No, for the 07-12 CBR600RR kit there are 4 total pieces. Large top left and right sections and 2 smaller strips that run under the larger sections on each side. They do not wrap around the tank and cover the middle. I would suggest a separate tank protector pad if you are concerned about protecting the finish of your bike from your gear. Apr 27, 2014

Humberto O: No, I bought this grip for the sole purpose of, well gripping.
It sits on the tanks sides, where the riders knees would be.
If you want to protect the tank from the zipper you should search for a tank protector.

Hope this helps

Jason S: No it doesn't wrap completely around where your jacket zipper is located.
There are 4 pieces. 1 on each side of the tank (2 large pieces) and 1 on each side on the side plastic fairing (2 small pieces). You will still need a tank pad.

Vlad K: This pad is located on the both tank's side, so it won't protect the tank from zipper-wear. But you knees grip will increase, so if you seat wright (far from tank), you cann't touch it. Apr 27, 2014

Michael B. G: On the honda cbr600rr you would need to also get something for the center of the tank. I think it looks great on the bike but it doesn't cover the entire tank. Apr 27, 2014
