Stompgrip Tank Pad BMW S1000RR / HP4
Necessary riding gear
This is a important piece of riding gear, not a cosmetic purchase. For those that enjoy improving skills and can humbly take correction, this should not be underrated. It allows a rider better control of these fine modern intricately engineered pieces of machinery. It accomplishes this by improving leg grip and reminding you of needed body corrections upon entry and exit, while navigating curvaceous topography at civilized speeds. Only advice to manufacturer would be provide some type of simple applicator to minimize initial air bubbles, while applying product to gas tank. Otherwise a fine product that performs its job.

Easy to install, i just used a blow dryer. They havent peeled up on any edges yet. The hardest part is not touching any adhesive with your fingers while putting it on. These help keep me in place for sure, and help keep my pants from riding up. My bike has the s1000rr logo on the tank so i cut that part out. Still looks ok though.

Great grip, every day
I've had these on my '09 Daytona 675 and now my '15 S1000RR and they are the single most confidence-inspiring add-on to any motorcycle, IMHO. You are locked in without having to exert extra effort with your outside leg's calf in order to hang on, allowing you to pay more attention to other aspects of riding.
'15 S1000RR: Originally I did not attach the frame stomp grips, and only used the tank ones. This is good as long as you can reach the tank with your outside leg's knee. Having dropped my pegs on the aftermarket rearsets, I feel that the frame pieces are a must - especially if your pants are leather on the inside of the leg. Without the frame stomp grips, the stretch panels on my Dainese Delta Pro pants seemed to hang on a bit better than the full leather suit.
These do require a certain degree of patience during application, and a heat gun is a must - especially for the clear color. That said, I will have these on all my future sport motorcycles.

Good product at great price
I would recommend this to any fellow S1KR owners. Inexpensive but high quality custom fit.

Improve your body position with stompgrip tank pads
These work well, are a good shape for the S1000RR/HP4 tank (I have a 2014 HP4). Heat them up and they will apply and stick well.
I would go for the higher volcano bumps. After using the Volcano version at California Superbike School, I found my regular height bumps offer much less grip. The small extra piece below the tank on the fairing helps, but the higher bumps really work.
Your riding will improve when you hang on with your kneed and stop using your arms. Just do it!

Not designed for the s1000R
This is a 4 piece kit, the pieces for the tank fit fine but the black pieces aren't the correct shape for the single R. They need to do some work on this before I would recommend it. Your knees really ride more on the trim below the tank and these pieces really don't fit very well.

increased Braking on the track and off. you will stick to your bike
I use my s1000rr for everything, even though i have a few more bikes at home, this bike is fun to drive for just about any occasion, from commuting, roaring up windy hill and the track. I try to ride hard always and obviously brake hard. From using jean to using my track suite gripping on to the bike while breaking hard when coming down from 100 mph puts some strain on your inner thighs and ultimately have to fight the slipping on forward on up the tank. With stompgrip baking hard is no longer a fight, just squeeze you thighs light and you won't move an inch.
Also I'm more confidente being more aggressive when hanging of the bike since the stomgrip really makes you feel secure that you won't fall off.
The only posible fallback is that I really believe it has made feel more "invisible" which as always is a double edged sword.
Price wise it's up there when you first order it and see that is you a large and thick sticker. I believe it could be cheaper, but then again the benefits it brings are well worth it.
