increased Braking on the track and off. you will stick to your bike
I use my s1000rr for everything, even though i have a few more bikes at home, this bike is fun to drive for just about any occasion, from commuting, roaring up windy hill and the track. I try to ride hard always and obviously brake hard. From using jean to using my track suite gripping on to the bike while breaking hard when coming down from 100 mph puts some strain on your inner thighs and ultimately have to fight the slipping on forward on up the tank. With stompgrip baking hard is no longer a fight, just squeeze you thighs light and you won't move an inch.
Also I'm more confidente being more aggressive when hanging of the bike since the stomgrip really makes you feel secure that you won't fall off.
The only posible fallback is that I really believe it has made feel more "invisible" which as always is a double edged sword.
Price wise it's up there when you first order it and see that is you a large and thick sticker. I believe it could be cheaper, but then again the benefits it brings are well worth it.

Great Set of Tank Grip
Pros: World wide use- people prefer these set of grips.
cons: in hot weather countries the glue starts to melt and can come off on track.

Improved my leaning quite a bit
When I first got my RR back in June, I instantly fell in love with the bike. But with the tank being so new, pretty, smooth and shiny, I had a hard time finding a good position at lean. Especially when wearing full leathers. The leathers seemed to slide on the tank. So I found myself VERY unsure when I was trying to grip the tank with my legs.
In comes the Stompgrip pads. They came in about 2 weeks ago and they only took about a half hour to install. Like mentioned before, heat them up or as you work them on, hit them with a heat gun every few minutes to get them to stick better and be more pliable. I found that they fit in a certain self explanatory spot. You'll know you have it right when they look good and symmetrical.
I also found it easier to work them on a 1/4" at a time. To avoid mistakes and air bubbles.
Anyways, getting back to it. The next day out on a ride. WOW. I feel like I can hang off the bike now and never have to worry about slipping. Under acceleration and braking, I don't feel like I'm moving all over the bike. I feel like I'm glued to the bike now. I love it.
The bottom line: If you're serious about track days, riding hard and getting that knee down. Get them. Even if you just want a better connection with the bike. Get em.

i was hesitant to put these on my brand new S1000RR...i go to NJMP about 15 days a year...but i did and so very glad i did..they add such grip it helps so much ..down in the turn i felt stuck to the bike and then when grabbin the front brake i stayed in the seat not smashed into the tank..if you do any amount of track days i would say get them for sure !!!
When you put them on ..i used a lil blue tape to mark a few spots as a guide and make sure you warm them up good ..go on much more easy
