Spidi STR-2 H2OUT Gloves

The STR-2 glove is a winter-specific, insulated glove that still maintains an aggressive, sporty design. The STR-2 features full grain cowhide coupled with a high tenacity Tenax Flex and soft microfleece lining, Powertech shields over the knuckles coupled with leather padding to protect the little finger and a shock absorber over the whole back of the hand. The glove also has an H2OUT membrane (waterproof, windproof, breathable) and anti-water intrusion gaiter for going over sleeves.

Very Happy I've worn these several times now and they have been very comfortable. The stitching overall is very good and I get very good feedback for a winter glove. I would say these gloves are really good for 40-60 degree weather. I've been in a little rain but no downpours and they performed well. I live in Seattle so these gloves are perfect for these climate conditions. I have owned other gloves such as Alpinestars, Joe Rockets, and Tourmasters (all in the same category of glove), and overall I'd have to say these are the best pair I've had. For me the most important thing is fitment and every manufacturer fits a little bit different. Spidi just happens to be the best for me. March 20, 2013
Disappointed For $150 I expected these to be water proof. The “H2Out” marketing made me think that they would be water proof, but after a two hour ride in the rain these things soaked up water like a sponge and my hands were all white and clammy. Maybe if you had a30 minute ride occasionally in the rain these would work, but I do not recommend them for anyone who wants to count on having dry hands on a long trip. The insulation is very good, and the airflow is low because they are supposed to be warm gloves June 11, 2012
