Speed and Strength Tough as Nails Gloves
Fair value but there is little precision in their construction
If you are a stickler for perfectly made goods, these are NOT the gloves for you.
My pair fits well and feels good, but there is a striking lack of symmetry between the left and right. Pad shapes and distances between pads varies. The end of the fingers have several different unique profiles on each glove and between gloves. On the right glove two fingers seem to be twisted slightly. The stitching and edge cuts are rough. These are built to a price and it shows. No one is going to notice but you, and they do provide protection and comfort. I'm not thrilled with them, but not annoyed enough to return them. I won't purchase another S&S glove though. Perhaps I'm expecting too much in this price range. My first and last S&S purchase.

Great light duty, summer glove
The sizing seems true to fit. Just as a reference, I wear a medium in Icon gloves and a medium in these feel very much the same.
The breath-ability of the mesh is great for summer riding - even in 95+ degree weather with 95% humidity (Mississippi). The gloves don't seem to "stick" to your hands when putting them on again, after you've been sweating.
Construction - this is very important to me as I'm sure it is to everyone else. These gloves hold up; I've worn them everyday for 3 months and I don't see any signs of wear and tear...none. The velcro closure along the wrist works great, as well as it worked the day I bought them.
Lacking in the protection department, if compared to other gloves. No rigid knuckle support, just padded leather.
Overall, these are solid gloves. I've purchased more expensive gloves from Icon (which I love, too) that started showing signs of wear and tear after 3 months and started becoming concerned of the life of the product...but not these. I'm convinced I'll get at least a few summer riding seasons out of these gloves - who knows, maybe double that.
These are a light duty, comfortable summer riding glove, meant for riding around town or short trips - not for race protection or long haul trips. If you buy these with that in mind, you'll be happy with your purchase.

Good glove for the price
First of all these gloves fit fantastic, they are very comfortable.
While they fit very well, I question the quality of construction. They would protect you well enough in a crash so long as you didn't sit on your hands. The airflow is good enough to keep your hands cool.
Overall pretty good; might have to replace with better gloves later, but these are really good if you don't have any gloves and just want some basic, comfortable, protection.

Just OK for the money!
The gloves fit fine and feel really nice. The leather portions are soft and have a nice broken-in feel so they are comfortable from the start. However, I noticed the mesh material starting to fray within the first few short rides. Some of the stitching that holds the mesh portion to the leather is also coming apart. Pretty disappointing for this price. All things considered, they are an attractive pair of gloves but I wish the mesh was held together a little better for the money.

Good Glove for the Money...
For the price, this is a good set of summer/warmer weather gloves. While not a full-on mesh glove, the mix of fabric and leather has plenty of ventilation and airflow.
These things (at least in white) look great and match up well with Speed and Strength's other offerings in white.
Comfort is ALMOST a five out of five except for one thing. Glove designers/manufacturers take note: STOP PUTTING A SEAM ON THE INSIDE OF THE THROTTLE THUMB!!! Just about every pair of gloves I've owned has had this problem. For the life of me, I cannot fathom why they would do this, or not utilize exterior seams.
Protection wise these are about average. Fingers are pretty well protected but there is no hard knuckle protection, only padding. Probably do OK in town but I wouldn't expect them to hold up to a highway speed crash.
One other minor point of contention is the hook and loop closure, and is another thing I think a lot of manufacturers are doing wrong. The hook part of the closure should be on the tab, not the body of the glove, so as not to snag the mesh lining of your jacket.
Fit wise I found these to run slightly large. I wear a large (mostly for finger length) and found these fit big enough to wear a liner underneath, which was a pleasant surprise.
All in all, a good value.

Overall great value... Fits a little small though.
Great deal for the price. Love the features ie the look, the padding, easy on/off. Fit is a little on the small side. Will buy the next size up for this brand in the future.

Decent inexpensive glove
I was running out of budget when I bought these gloves, so I was taking a chance on these. I'm riding in Alaska, in early May, so I'm seeing temps into the high 20's in the mornings. NOT a good choice for cold days. I'd say these are great for sunny, 45 degree or warmer days.
That being said, the fit is great, and right on with the sizing chart. There is a lot of mesh and breath-ability to the gloves, and give you great feel on the bars. I have been using them on a daily basis in the afternoons and they have been great.

Nice fitting glove
Glove fits great, feels great, looks great. No complaints. Looks like it will hold up well enough if need be too!
