Not bad but could be better I have been using this helmet for over a year now and here are some of things that I noticed. Pros: -The fit was good but a little tight around the cheeks -Graphics were amazing -Field of vision is fantastic -The quick release chin strap makes it a breeze to put on and off with gloves on -Price point -Light weight Cons: -The face shield cracks open at speed allowing air to come in, not so good at colder temps -Reflective patch at the nape of the neck has worn off -Replacing the face shield is a pain in the but -The visor catches a lot of air at speed (above 70 MPH) -My face shield developed cracks around mounting holes -Front vent is useless, open or closed the same amount of air came through -The top vents do an ok job but could use more venting. Gets extremely hot when stopped in 80+ temps -The front vent broke with in the first month and I had to glue it back on -The cheek pads are starting to wear with putting the helmet on and off. The material is starting to pill July 9, 2014
Loved it, except for one thing... I love this helmet. Looks great, has a great fit once broken in, and the finish is good as well. Favorite part of this helmet was the quick release strap by far. I wish every helmet had that feature. My ONLY gripe with the helmet was that due to the shape of the face shield, when the sun would hit you at the right angle, I'd get a glare on the inside of the face shield. It was annoying for me as I could see my own face on the face shield while I was just walking around in my backyard with the helmet on. I believe this was only caused by the mirror face shield however, so if you get the Smoked face shield or stick with the clear, you'll be fine. July 15, 2014
good helmet its light, fits good, great view. Im a wing rider and after a full day of riding no problems. there is better out there but you pay for it . i like the lunatic fringe color's May 26, 2014
Great looking helemt with some great features. Fits well for us folks with a narrow head. I saw this helmet on a forum getting some good reviews and I really liked the look of it. I was dubious of the fitment as I have a long narrow head and finding the right helmet can be quite an issue for me. After taking a measurement of my head I chose the XXL helmet as the XL looked like it could be border line on the tight side. When I first tried the helmet on the cheek pads where a little tight but now i have worn it a few times they softern a little and all is good now. The ventilation is really good and if you ride with the visor up and a pair of shades on it doest get noisey at all. June 23, 2014
Great features for the money Sharp looking helmet. Large size fits my 23" head perfectly. Cheek pads are too thick for my face, swapping out to XXL pads to give me a better fit. Shield design gives a distortion free view and the retention mechanism works well. The quick release chin strap is a great feature. Ventilation is good in low 80's riding conditions . This helmet provides a good bang for the buck value. June 10, 2014
Awesome helmet My head measured 23 1/2 so I ordered the large, it is a nice snug fit. Not hot as long as your cruising. Only small issue at first - my eyeglasses ride a little higher up on the bridge of my nose than normal - learning to adjust. May 29, 2014
The Best Helmet you can Buy! I love this helmet! I've needed a new helmet and this is the one. It looks like it should be in the mid $300 range. Nectar closest dual sport style helmet is almost twice the price. I wear a medium in KBC. I ordered a medium perfect fit. Best review video on the web is definitely at Revzilla. Nice job. 2003 KLR 250 and others. April 7, 2014
Nice one I´ve just purchased this helmet. I didnt know what to expect, but in generally terms, I think is a good product for the Price I paid. The only concern is how small or narrow it can be, try a whole size bigger, in my case, that should be the choice. I can recomend this helmet if you´re looking for Price, quality and style. Lawrence H asked: My head measures about 22 - 22.125" so I'm not quite a small nor a medium. Any suggestions on what size I should consider, small or medium? Thanks. Jan 10, 2014

Anthony L: The helmet runs slightly smaller than say an HJC or most helmets I have tried. The pads break in nicely though and it will form a pretty "snug" fit. So I would try for the medium. Speed and Strength have good customer so I don't see ot being an issue if you need to exchange. Jan 11, 2014

Steven K: I like my helmet, but I went up a full size as I found the helmet runs smaller than stated size. The shield is great for clarity. You do get weathervaning at higher speeds. Jan 13, 2014

Simon A: I was in between sizes as well so I went for the lager option and it was still snug. I've only used it a few times but the lining pading foam keeps it's shape well so far. Jan 10, 2014

A shopper asked: Can anyone tell me how well this helmet accommodates a scala g9 comms set?
Can the scala be bolted on or does it require the sticker type installation?

WILSON S: Hi, the S&S 2500 helmet its a Little bit thick on the base so i think that you need to use the sticker, I have the Sena smh10 installed on the adhesive base and it works perfectly

Best regards from Colombia

David B: Thanks for the quick answer! Feb 1, 2014
Jerry M: I do not have a com system mounted on my helmet but i can tell you this much, if you are using a boom you should have no problem. A low profile wired mic may not work however due to the vent switch located inside the mouth of the helmet. Best helmet I've ever worn. Takes its time breaking in but give it time, it's well worth it. Feb 1, 2014
