The Best Helmet you can Buy! I love this helmet! I've needed a new helmet and this is the one. It looks like it should be in the mid $300 range. Nectar closest dual sport style helmet is almost twice the price. I wear a medium in KBC. I ordered a medium perfect fit. Best review video on the web is definitely at Revzilla. Nice job. 2003 KLR 250 and others. April 7, 2014
Lightweight, high quality, great style I almost pulled the trigger on the new AFX helmet, then ran across the S&S 2500. I really liked the more rounded high speed look of the helmet. When I found out it was a composite blend at this price, I had to have it. The helmet is very light and seems like it has a good build quality. Features like the quick connect chin strap, and removable headliner are a real bonus. I had concern, as many do, about the peak on the helmet. I have never used a dual sport style helmet before, always an Arai touring helmet. I can say that they have really put in the work to allow air flow through the peak and it hardly buffers or lifts at speed. Plus, it's great to block the sun when it's setting on evening rides. It looks pretty menacing as well :) My only two somewhat negative points. The helmet is snug, especially around the cheek pads. They seem to be wearing in though, just a bit tight at first. I ordered a medium, then returned for a large that fits much better. But the cheek pads are still on the snug side. (Revzillas return policy and service is second to none BTW) The only other thing is it is louder in wind noise than my Arai, which is to be expected. Totally livable though. All in all, I am nitpicking at points. The helmet is one of the best deals on the market. January 27, 2014
Great helmet Long time rider, and usually buy much more expensive full face helmets. But I recently got my first dual sport and wanted a dual sport helmet. The fit and finish is great. Helmet is just great looking too. Looks a lot better in person than in pictures. Easily rivals my $500+ full face helmets in quality, looks, and comfort. Best bang for the buck I've had in a long time. Unbelievably great helmet for the money. Can you tell I like it? Money wise, it is by far the cheapest helmet I have ever bought, but no where near the bottom of the list. Probably the 2nd best helmet I have ever owned (first being an Arai Full Face that cost $670). And shipping was VERY fast. Less than 48 hours after ordering, it was in my hands. Highly recommend it. I should add I don't use this bike or helmet on the freeway though. January 2, 2014
I love this helmet!!! This helmet is great! My biggest concern when I was ordering this helmet was, how bad is the visor going to catch wind. If you turn your head it catches some wind but that's to be expected. The cut outs on the top of the visor lets a lot of air through, so it's not bad at all. There is some wind noise but its not bad. I love the chin strap. It's one of my favorite things about the helmet. It is very easy to use one handed. I'm not one for graphics on my helmet, so I was a little hesitate to get the helmet based on the pictures but seeing that the black was out of stock I decided to take a chance. I'm glad I did. The graphics are more suddle then they appear in the pictures. Overall, I am very happy with this helmet. June 8, 2013
Great Buy! Really dig the look of the dual-sport type helmets so I bought this about two weeks ago and it's starting to break in fairly well. Did fit a little snug at first but now that I've put a 100+ miles on my bike wearing the helmet it's starting to feel a lot better. Design allows for great airflow and keeps my head cool. Has a wide range of sight and the visor's anti-fog feature works flawlessly. Wouldn't mind the addition of a small tab to help open and close the shield but the current design works alright, too. Only downsides I can find are that it is slightly noisy at speeds over 50 mph and the visor does catch a little wind once in a while but not so bad that it'll whip your neck around. Both of these are to be expected given the nature of design of the helmet. I'm very happy with the helmet and the outstanding service from Revzilla. Look forward to continue dealing with them in the future! May 16, 2013
Great appearance, best bang for the buck. I purchased this from a store and waited for the order to ship it in, and when I went to pick it up the cashier examined it, and they have never seen the helmet before and were baffled at its appearance, fiber-glass shell with the price I got it for. Im sure there are going to be a few more purchases after I drive around with it more. Pros: appearance snug fit WIDE view Aerodynamic (considering the visor) Cons: padding could be better material chin guard would be a nice add-on rubber shield guard feels flimsy (though it is durable) Verdict: Awesome helmet, max speed ive taken it to was 85, and that was still easy to handle. Im going to be buying the dark visor for it soon, and that looks like it might be a PITA. I recommend this product, especially from Revzilla, their prices and costumer service beat cycle-gear and moto-superstore based off personal experience. April 27, 2013
Awesome Styling! I got this helmet when they were first released and ive been enjoying it since. The liner is very confortable, fits my head great and snug. I use a HJC medium and this one in a medium. I love everything about this helmet, except that at higher speeds, if i head check the visor comes up due to the lip on the visor. Thats the only complaint i can truely give...If they fix that i would be 100% happy... December 6, 2012
Awesome ! Helmet looks good and feels great. The airflow is good, the visor catches some wind if you tilt back some, but if you stay in the tuck, well then no worries. I fit a medium, ordered a medium. Fits great around my head. The cheech pads a little pressing though. Took a little getting used to, but It doesn't bother me anymore, plus it broke in. Everywhere I go, people are always checking out the helmet. Thanks to revzilla for super fast shipping. November 26, 2012

Lawrence H asked: My head measures about 22 - 22.125" so I'm not quite a small nor a medium. Any suggestions on what size I should consider, small or medium? Thanks. Jan 10, 2014

Anthony L: The helmet runs slightly smaller than say an HJC or most helmets I have tried. The pads break in nicely though and it will form a pretty "snug" fit. So I would try for the medium. Speed and Strength have good customer so I don't see ot being an issue if you need to exchange. Jan 11, 2014

Steven K: I like my helmet, but I went up a full size as I found the helmet runs smaller than stated size. The shield is great for clarity. You do get weathervaning at higher speeds. Jan 13, 2014

Simon A: I was in between sizes as well so I went for the lager option and it was still snug. I've only used it a few times but the lining pading foam keeps it's shape well so far. Jan 10, 2014

A shopper asked: Can anyone tell me how well this helmet accommodates a scala g9 comms set?
Can the scala be bolted on or does it require the sticker type installation?

WILSON S: Hi, the S&S 2500 helmet its a Little bit thick on the base so i think that you need to use the sticker, I have the Sena smh10 installed on the adhesive base and it works perfectly

Best regards from Colombia

Jerry M: I do not have a com system mounted on my helmet but i can tell you this much, if you are using a boom you should have no problem. A low profile wired mic may not work however due to the vent switch located inside the mouth of the helmet. Best helmet I've ever worn. Takes its time breaking in but give it time, it's well worth it. Feb 1, 2014
