awesome helmet! I bought the matte army green one and love it, just bought the matte black one for my girlfriend the vision is good and the fit is spot on I wear a large and it fits perfect. November 3, 2015
Great But... This helmet is pretty ok for the price and is great for a new rider on a budget. It is currently my first and only helmet. It does stay true to size and fits pretty comfortably. My only beef with this helmet is that it's too freakin loud! I own a Sena SMH-10 and Sena Prism. I wanted to utilize the whole record your voice in real time using the SMH-10 but no matter how well I place the boom mic in the helmet, the wind still gets to it. The loud wind also becomes a pain when trying to talk to someone with the SMH-10 since anything past 50mph is pure ambient wind noise. Overall it's an ok helmet, but keep away if you plan to purchase any bluetooth equipment or become a motovlogger November 17, 2015
Awesome helmet, great value This was my first S&S product, so I didn't know what to expect. I was very pleased when I received the helmet, the quality was high, it fit as expected and it looks awesome! Revzilla was great to deal with, I received the helmet in 4 days. Will be buying more in the future from Revzilla. November 2, 2015
Excellent product for the price! Pros: Stylish design (looks better than in the photo), lightweight and comfortable for short and long rides, the face shield has no optical distortion (sometimes, I forget it is down), love the quick release retention system/strap, easily accommodates bluetooth intercom system, and you can't beat the price! Cons: Wish it had a little more hi-viz yellow in the design; is louder (more wind noise) than my 3/4 face helmet by S&S October 12, 2015
Absolutely love it! This helmet looks amazing in person compared to the pictures. In love with the graphics and coloring, easy to use features and overall great fit. Definitely would recommend this one. Only thing I would change about this helmet is the quick release strap. I'd prefer to have to double D ring and snap strap because I feel like it's more secure and comfortable. September 28, 2015
nice comfort. i like to keep helmets on the wall...wear different ones each day depending where i ride too..i have aria rxq and shoei rf 1200 and icon airframe and armada ...and the red ss1300 for the price it works ...really loud ..sides catches wind i wear plugs with this helmet though ...nice red and black live by the sword design is great ..its just as comfy as my arai and the chin strap is ok diff from the o-rings September 19, 2015
Great helmet for the price Went from a scorpion exo 700 to the ss1300 and overall a great helmet for the price. the fit is good and snug. The ratchet strap could use a little more adjustment for a bigger neck but will work fine. The color pops on the hi viz it does look better in person.overall i am satisfied with this helmet September 18, 2015
Pretty good helmet for the price It's a little tighter than the sizing chart says but it's got a cool look and the chin strap is very easy to handle with gloves on September 14, 2015

Nicholas G: I love this helmet it gives me a great line of vision for those people who pull out in front of you cause you don't know how to drive, I wore this for my motorcycle safety course and then for the last 2 months riding my own bike and I love it. If your looking for a good helmet that has all the approvals this would be a great helmet. Jul 10, 2014
Andrew W: Read the reviews watch the video over of the product and think this is what I'd like in a helmet. Though I may not know for sure until it arrives for fitting since it was stated it better fits a normal sized head and I'm sure where I stand on that. However I will give it a try and will keep in mind that I have to break it in and shouldn't expect a perfect fit. May 23, 2014
Gregory W: I am in the Army. I needed a plain matte black helmet to ride to work in while in uniform. May 15, 2014
Daniel N: I chose this helmet because I wanted a plain helmet, but I also wanted it to look sick at the same time and this helmet fit both of my wants May 9, 2014

Eric G asked: I have a 23 1/2 size head, normally use 7 5/8 size hats and use a HJC size Large helmet and I would say I'm more of an round head medium to small front to back wider side to side. Going by chart for his helmet I would pick Large but people say it runs small so should I go XL? Thanks for the help Mar 16, 2014
Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (0) No (0)
Neil S: I have a a perfect 22" round head, not oval shape. I purchased a medium, and I tend to purchase on the larger size. The fit was too loose for safety and comfort. I ordered a small, and they sent it so I could compare the two. The small was a bit tight to put on, but once it was on it was snug, not tight.

Order the large because the padding will compress somewhat, as with any helmet padding. When it does, it will fit to your head and your head alone, and kind of become a "custom" fit.

If you get the large and find it to be different, please let me know. Thanks!

Eric G: Thanks for the advice I will try the large first and let you know on the fit. Better to be on the snug side than the loose side. Mar 16, 2014
Curtis T: I can't speak to the sizing of HJC but I am a Medium and wear about the same size ball cap last time I bought a fitted one. but I would say I am more of an oval shaped head than round hope this helps Mar 16, 2014

A shopper asked: Does this helmet have the "dual visor"(built in sunglasses)? Jul 5, 2014
Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (0) No (1)
Chaz B: No, this helmet doesn't have the dual visor feature. You can get different visors (colors) like clear, smoke (like in the picture), and mirrored. Hope this helps. Jul 6, 2014

Amanda C: No. You will need to buy the darker visor and swap out the clear visor the helmet comes with. Jul 5, 2014
