Awesome helmet! Totally worth the price. This helmet fit exactly according to the size chart. It looks awesome and very quiet compared to other helmets I have worn. It has great features, breathes very well and you can see everything. Very stable at highway speeds. March 11, 2015
Great price, Good helmet Lets start by saying this is my first full face helmet, so I have no other helmet to compare it to. Once opened I immediately loved the style and design of the helmet. The only difference in what RevZilla displays and what you get is the way the visor attaches, not a big deal. Air Flow: Not knowing what to expect I am happy with the overall performance of the vents. Two are top are difficult to find at first and the visor vent takes a little more muscle than I thought a piece of plastic could handle, but it started to loosen up after using it a few times. It is currently winter here, so I don't know if it will provide the air flow I want during the summer months, but for now it is great. Visor: Seals well and does not distort the environment. The "visor lock" is very nimble and delicate, I broke it on my smoked visor within five minutes of trying to figure out what it was haha. I doubt very seriously that any of would reach speeds that would lift the visor anyhow (I've done 80 with not a glimpse of the visor moving). Fastening: Ratchet strap design is very nice, difficult to use with thick winter gloves but that's to be expected. Padding: At first it was pretty tight in there, after just a couple hundred miles it has broken in quite nicely but not so much that the helmet no longer fits. Very comfortable. Size: Seems true to size. I was very nervous about ordering a helmet that I never tried on before but after measuring my head two or three times for good...measure....I found myself to fit in the large category (like my other helmets). Just like the video said it should fit most people. Anti-fog: hahahahahahahaha...haha...haha. No it's really not that bad, My first minute or two with the helmet on I keep it cracked and that helps. Some times when I sit at a red light or long stop I'll crack it again. Once the visor fogs up it is pretty tedious to clear up unless you raise the visor and run at about 40 mph for a minute. Sound: Some people said this helmet is loud, however, I'd have to disagree. Granted this is my first helmet so I don't have anything to compare it against besides my half. Wind noise isn't bad at 30 or 70, regardless of how the vents are set up. My bike sounds louder to me, but that's not a bad thing in my book! All in all this is a great helmet for the price, and a good helmet overall. It doesn't have the features of a 400 dollar helmet, but it doesn't have the price of one either. If you are looking for a helmet that will make you question ever wearing a half helmet again, this is it. Don't know if I'll ever go back. December 29, 2014
Excellent helmet for the money Very high quality construction and the fit and finish is on pare with helmets costing quite a bit more February 9, 2015
Great product I bought this helmet a while back, and I love the feel of it. Fits my head beautifully. Air flow is good, visor doesn't fog up, and It doesn't weigh heavy on my head. I would recommend this to anyone riding. Has a great style, and feel to it. Defiantly a good buy. November 13, 2014
Decent so I bought the helmet and it did good for the first couple months but the screws for the visor started to fall out constantly. one fell out during a ride and I cant find one to match the size. the graphic is durable and its comfortable I put a Bluetooth mic in it and it muffles the sound but other wise very loud December 11, 2014
Great helmet Bought the helmet because it wasn't to expensive and I really wanted a flat black helmet. At first the helmet was a tight fit but once it got worn in it was perfect and very comfortable. It's a little loud but that really never bothered me. On the colder days my head never got cold. The visor is very easy to put on and take off. I would really recommend this helmet for the price and comfort. October 20, 2014
Loud Loud Loud This helmet is so noisy its louder than me wearing my non dot half helmet you need ear plugs with it October 12, 2014
One of the better budget helmets I like this helmet because the looks are great and it's quiet at "highway" speeds when I commute to work. My only two gripes about this helmet are that the visor is not the easiest to remove/replace and they don't make an amber/yellow visor for this model although it would look sick. I love the ratcheting chin strap. Although the visors are difficult to remove/install, they are extremely high quality and scratch resistant. Even the mirror visor has proven to be more resistant to fading spots and blemishes in the reflective coating than other brand helmets I have. I would buy again and have a new respect for the brand because of the quality of this helmet. November 2, 2014

Nicholas G: I love this helmet it gives me a great line of vision for those people who pull out in front of you cause you don't know how to drive, I wore this for my motorcycle safety course and then for the last 2 months riding my own bike and I love it. If your looking for a good helmet that has all the approvals this would be a great helmet. Jul 10, 2014
Andrew W: Read the reviews watch the video over of the product and think this is what I'd like in a helmet. Though I may not know for sure until it arrives for fitting since it was stated it better fits a normal sized head and I'm sure where I stand on that. However I will give it a try and will keep in mind that I have to break it in and shouldn't expect a perfect fit. May 23, 2014
Gregory W: I am in the Army. I needed a plain matte black helmet to ride to work in while in uniform. May 15, 2014
Daniel N: I chose this helmet because I wanted a plain helmet, but I also wanted it to look sick at the same time and this helmet fit both of my wants May 9, 2014

Eric G asked: I have a 23 1/2 size head, normally use 7 5/8 size hats and use a HJC size Large helmet and I would say I'm more of an round head medium to small front to back wider side to side. Going by chart for his helmet I would pick Large but people say it runs small so should I go XL? Thanks for the help Mar 16, 2014

Neil S: I have a a perfect 22" round head, not oval shape. I purchased a medium, and I tend to purchase on the larger size. The fit was too loose for safety and comfort. I ordered a small, and they sent it so I could compare the two. The small was a bit tight to put on, but once it was on it was snug, not tight.

Order the large because the padding will compress somewhat, as with any helmet padding. When it does, it will fit to your head and your head alone, and kind of become a "custom" fit.

If you get the large and find it to be different, please let me know. Thanks!

Eric G: Thanks for the advice I will try the large first and let you know on the fit. Better to be on the snug side than the loose side. Mar 16, 2014
Curtis T: I can't speak to the sizing of HJC but I am a Medium and wear about the same size ball cap last time I bought a fitted one. but I would say I am more of an oval shaped head than round hope this helps Mar 16, 2014

A shopper asked: Does this helmet have the "dual visor"(built in sunglasses)? Jul 5, 2014
Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (0) No (1)
Chaz B: No, this helmet doesn't have the dual visor feature. You can get different visors (colors) like clear, smoke (like in the picture), and mirrored. Hope this helps. Jul 6, 2014
