Speed and Strength SS1300 Rage with the Machine Helmet
Good looking helmet and good price
Moved to this helmet because I wanted a less bulky helmet than the Hawk helmet i started with. Got it in the OD/Matte green which no longer seems to be available, and absolutely love it. Switching visors is extremely easy with the lock n load system, and the clear visor is awesome - as is the dark smoke visor that I bought afterwards. Operating the vents with gloves is easy, as is tightening and releasing the chin strap.

Sick helmet w/ great features for good price
I love this helmet. I moved from an SS2200 and was unsure about going to plastic from composite but I am happy with my choice. The features are great - I love the ratcheted chin strap and the easy open/close air vents. It's a big improvement from the 2200. The graphics are really sick - they're slightly matte, understated and just a little pop of color and design, which matches my bike great.
This helmet fits on the snug side, other SS helmets I wear a large and this large is very snug.
I upgraded to a mirror shield and I love it. It's easier to change than the older face shields and the field of vision is excellent.
Highly recommended, especially at the closeout price!!

EXACTLY what i was looking for
this is my first STREET full face helmet, but have had offroad helmets in the past. first off for the price and features your getting i couldn't ask for a better combo. it had everything i was looking for and was actually cheaper than the helmet i was going to buy. the matte black is really nice but it seems like it scratches really easy. i barely tapped on my car door and it scratched a small dot in it so i feel like i have to keep it in a bubble in order to keep it pristine. but besides that i love the finish especially the graphics which are SUPER reflective when hit with direct light. they don't mention that but i like knowing ill be a little more visible at night. first time out it seemed to have a good amount of wind noise but lately not so much, maybe the order i had the vents open. but i have had a slight problem with fogging on the main face shield when not moving but just flip it and ride for a bit problem solved. the DVD or sun visor is a nice feature when i know ill be riding in the day and night and not have to have two shields. And while i haven't had a problem yet, it feels like it could break if lightly abused. and like other reviewers said the system to change visors is a bit tricky and could be improved it is a little heavier than i expected but i attribute that to the dvd system and air fit system, no big deal really. once im riding i don't notice it. the field of vision is not like im used to, i have to turn my head way more than i had to with my dirt bike helmet. not sure if that's just for all street bike helmets or not. but overall im really happy with this purchase (esp since i got it for only $120) and would recommend it to anyone looking for a nice helmet that's low profile while being packed with features. but like with anything esp. safety do your research, make sure it will fit you properly and has everything you need/want.

4th SS1300... Bring on the new graphics!
I love this helmet! Me and my wife both have two of these helmets. I recently got the gloss black version. They are fantastic to use with Sena Bluetooth units. Wind noise is quiet, the weight is reasonably light but most importantly it's very, very comfortable. My favorite helmet by far.

Awesome helmet! Totally worth the price.
This helmet fit exactly according to the size chart. It looks awesome and very quiet compared to other helmets I have worn. It has great features, breathes very well and you can see everything. Very stable at highway speeds.

Excellent helmet for the money
Very high quality construction and the fit and finish is on pare with helmets costing quite a bit more

Great price, Good helmet
Lets start by saying this is my first full face helmet, so I have no other helmet to compare it to.
Once opened I immediately loved the style and design of the helmet. The only difference in what RevZilla displays and what you get is the way the visor attaches, not a big deal.
Air Flow: Not knowing what to expect I am happy with the overall performance of the vents. Two are top are difficult to find at first and the visor vent takes a little more muscle than I thought a piece of plastic could handle, but it started to loosen up after using it a few times. It is currently winter here, so I don't know if it will provide the air flow I want during the summer months, but for now it is great.
Visor: Seals well and does not distort the environment. The "visor lock" is very nimble and delicate, I broke it on my smoked visor within five minutes of trying to figure out what it was haha. I doubt very seriously that any of would reach speeds that would lift the visor anyhow (I've done 80 with not a glimpse of the visor moving).
Fastening: Ratchet strap design is very nice, difficult to use with thick winter gloves but that's to be expected.
Padding: At first it was pretty tight in there, after just a couple hundred miles it has broken in quite nicely but not so much that the helmet no longer fits. Very comfortable.
Size: Seems true to size. I was very nervous about ordering a helmet that I never tried on before but after measuring my head two or three times for good...measure....I found myself to fit in the large category (like my other helmets). Just like the video said it should fit most people.
Anti-fog: hahahahahahahaha...haha...haha. No it's really not that bad, My first minute or two with the helmet on I keep it cracked and that helps. Some times when I sit at a red light or long stop I'll crack it again. Once the visor fogs up it is pretty tedious to clear up unless you raise the visor and run at about 40 mph for a minute.
Sound: Some people said this helmet is loud, however, I'd have to disagree. Granted this is my first helmet so I don't have anything to compare it against besides my half. Wind noise isn't bad at 30 or 70, regardless of how the vents are set up. My bike sounds louder to me, but that's not a bad thing in my book!
All in all this is a great helmet for the price, and a good helmet overall. It doesn't have the features of a 400 dollar helmet, but it doesn't have the price of one either. If you are looking for a helmet that will make you question ever wearing a half helmet again, this is it. Don't know if I'll ever go back.

so I bought the helmet and it did good for the first couple months but the screws for the visor started to fall out constantly. one fell out during a ride and I cant find one to match the size. the graphic is durable and its comfortable I put a Bluetooth mic in it and it muffles the sound but other wise very loud
