Mirror shield looks awesome
I changed out the clear shield for the mirror and it looks really good. It's easy to see through and clear even at dusk. It looks great and is the perfect tint for sun.

Pulled it right out of the box and installed with ease. Looks great on my Die by the Sword. Visibility is excellent even at night surprisingly.

It has a good look with the matte black helmet i have
Overall pleased with the product. Only problem I had was after i took it out of the box it had a scratch on it that was very noticeable and didn't feel like waiting on another one to come in so i put it on and rode with it immediately.

I love this. Put it on my helmet when it came in and I love it!! Awesome visibility and super clear while toning down the sun when riding during the day. I can even ride with it at dusk. I would not recommend wearing it at night though. You can still see threw it clearly but things are dulled out to the point where it could be an accident waiting to happen, so do as I do, carry an extra clear visor if you are going to be all day. On this helmet it takes seconds to change out. Yet another awesome feature.

The style & colors match perfectly
One major flaw. The shield creates a terrible unsafe glair as the sun hits it at certain angles. I can't see objects lying in the road at time. Looks like this helmet will put on a self.

Good shield for the price
The mirrored shield looks good and visibility is great in the sun. Excellent addition to a good helmet for a decent price.

Nice mirrored shield with some fogging issues
Pretty standard mirrored shield. Easy to install on the speed and strength. Only problem I have with this shield is that under 65 degrees at lower speeds it fogs up pretty bad.

Nicholas G: I love the look of the helmet with the chrome shield, speed and strength has grown to be one of my favorite companies. The only complaint that I have with the visor is the fogging, but other than that the performance has been great.Jul 10, 2014
charles c: Looks good on the matte blackJun 16, 2014
Gregory W: I wanted a silver face shield to make the Matte Black stand out.May 15, 2014
Christopher J: I really like the silver look and hope that it looks amazing on my 1300 red/die by the sword helmet.May 15, 2014
Daniel N: I chose this product because I believe that it just sets the ss1300 matt black helmet off perfectly, and I guess I chose it so that nobody could see me through the lensMay 9, 2014
Mark B: Having a backup in case sun is too bright with clear shield.Apr 25, 2014
Michael D: Very appealing and combined with this awesome "Live by the sword, Die by the sword" theme it looks absolutely sick.Apr 20, 2014
Roger R: I live in the caribbean so the sun hits here pretty hard. Since I use prescription glasses I have sunglasses with prescription but the curvature of them doesn't let me use it with the helmet. I decide to use my clear glasses with this.
James A:on the side of the helmet there is a lock it is round. In the middle of that there Iis a red slide. On one side of it it has a c, on the other side an o. For closed and open. Slide the red bar to the o and then turn the locking mechanism down. When you are done and have everything back together slide the red bar back to c. Repeat for the other side of the helmet. Heidi M:On the sides there are red pieces, with an O and a C , make sure it's going towards the O. Turn the red pieces and it should "unlock" allowing you to take off the shield. When you put these side pieces back in you have to push them in first and the turn the entire piece. Hope this helps! It will take a couple tries, post back here if you need anymore help!Aug 26, 2013
Devin K:On the side of the helmet there are two round fasteners. First, slide the red locking mechanism to "O". Next, turn the fastener. Finally, pull the fastener out. Once both sides are removed, the face shield will pop off.Aug 26, 2013
