Good value, full featured, fits my round head
I chose this helmet mainly because it was one of the few non-high end that fit my round head. Seriously, I tried many in this price range that were painfully tight when fully closed. I have been riding with it for about a year now.
The helmet has a lot of features and well built (construction and overall fit and finish) for the $. Compare the stitching, padding, shape, weight to others. The chin wind guard and removable liner are nice features.
I have never removed the visor but have had no problems.
The bad? It fogs up. I know venting is questionable in this price range but, at stop lights it fogs up if closed. I am in the rainy PNW and I have to vent it or leave it slightly open. Luckily you can adjust it to just about any level.

Beware the shield retention mechanism!
I do not own this exact helmet, but it is very similar to the NEXO "Touring III Signalgelb" helmet from Polo-Motorrad in Germany (same manufacturer in China). I am writing to warn you that the twist-lock shield retention system is bound to fail. Over time the shield will get stiffer and stiffer to raise, until with friction the black twist lock will pop off with no way to retain the shield. This happened to me on the Autobahn in Germany and again in New York after I replaced the helmet with another one of the same model.
The SparX Helios uses the exact same shield retention mechanism http://www.polo-motorrad.de/de/touring-iii-signalgelb.html

Nice helmet, no room for ears, uncomfortable.
I have an XXL Scorpion EX 400 that fits well. I saw this SparX Helios Helmet and felt that it was a great value based upon the video review and all of it amenities. I ordered an XL based upon their measurement guide. The fit is ok except that there are no indentations for my ears (as the Scorpion has) and my ears folded back when I put it on and I could not get comfortable. I doubt a larger size would solve this issue. Also the color is rather more green than yellow, but I would have kept it anyway if it fit well. I must admit that my ears are larger and someone else may not have my issues. I returned the helmet and will continue my search for a value added modular helmet.

So far I love it
Got my Helios a week ago. I really like the sun visor feature, it drops down far enough so it doesn't interfear with your vision. It has very good ventilation and the vents are easy to use with gloves on. The fit was tight at first but after wearing it around the house for a couple of hours feels good now. Chin strap is comfortable and in a good location at least for me. Never rode with a modular helmet before but seems to be more noisy than a fullface.
