Shogun Complete Protection Kit includes matching bar ends, frame sliders, and swingarm spools. Shogun sliders are superior to other slider brands by virtue of their construction and material. Shogun pucks, bar ends and spools are made of a shatter proof UHMW infused with UV protective polymer. Shogun sliders absorb kinetic energy from crashes and will not shatter in cold temperature like some types of Delrin or fade in the sun. Each slider has a press fit aluminum bushing (excluding bar ends) to hold it in place during impact to reduce the risk of the slider puck or spool tearing off of the mounting point. Shogun frame slider offsets are CNC machined from the same grade aluminum as military aircraft. Offsets are anodized black to match OEM components. Each offset is manufactured to stringent specifications with ISO 9000 quality control.
Each Shogun Frame Slider comes with high tensile strength corrosion resistant hardware (cheap imitators do not use high grade hardware and will quickly rust). Shogun uses socket head bolts in nearly every kit, allowing for stronger frame slider design in a more compact space. Newer applications of Shogun Frame Sliders make use of a counter sunk design, which distributes the force of impact over a wider area and gives additional strength to the system so that the puck remains attached to the motorcycle.
Axle sliders parts not included.
The frame sliders and bar sliders were easy to install. Cool no biggie there. The durability got a 3 because I haven't downed my bike yet. It included a set of axle sliders pucks but without any of the install hardware; pretty much pointless. Other than that they seem like pretty good sliders.

This product is good to go!
My only complaint is that the packaging was torn and busted up. A washer was missing due to this problem but I had a spare so I made it work. Other that that, I like Shogun, I had them on my 2014 FZ6R and they look good my 14 r6 as well.

I bought a set of these for my 2014 R6, unfortunately I got T-boned by a truck and had to put these to the test. They saved a lot of my plastics, but I got hit hard enough to where the tires lifted off the ground and my bike received some damaged. The damage would've been way worse without these though. They definitely saved a few thousand in damage. Needless to say, I ordered another set and put it on already.
The reason I gave it 4 stars is because I wish the swing arm sliders were longer. Since they are pretty short, my exhaust was damaged in the accident.

Look good and hope to never use them
Bought the no cut slider kit for my 2013 R6. Install was a breeze, no need to remove any plastics. Took 15 mins to finish install. Hopefully I don't need to ever use them but its peace of mind that they are there just in case plus that don't look too awful.

I recently low sided at about 60 MPH in a left hand turn at the track. The front wheel slid out as I was rolling on the throttle so the bike not only slid, but also spun. The frame sliders did an amazing job of saving the fairings. There was only two spots of fairing that were damaged at all. There was some damage to the rear cowl that was the worst of it. The front cowl had some very minor scratches. the clutch lever was bent slightly and the foot peg was also slightly bent. The bike was still very rideable and at first glance very hard to see the damage.
Pics won't upload for some reason

callistus p asked:I plan to buy the no cut kit for my yamaha r6 (2014). Do i need to remove the left side panel to install this(as displayed in the instructions)? I have seen some videos where it can be done without removing the panel (cowl).Jul 24, 2014
Ricardo O:Nope (I also have a 2014 r6) I installed it with all the panels installed. Just don't take out both bolts for the frame sliders at the same time. Those bolts hold your engine in its place.Jul 28, 2014
callistus p:Thanks guys...I have read about the engine going down even after removing 1 bolt...hopefully it shouldn't be a problem doing 1 at a time,,,I have ordered these along with a torque wrench !Jul 28, 2014
