Shogun Complete Protection Kit includes matching bar ends, frame sliders, and swingarm spools. Shogun sliders are superior to other slider brands by virtue of their construction and material. Shogun pucks, bar ends and spools are made of a shatter proof UHMW infused with UV protective polymer. Shogun sliders absorb kinetic energy from crashes and will not shatter in cold temperature like some types of Delrin or fade in the sun. Each slider has a press fit aluminum bushing (excluding bar ends) to hold it in place during impact to reduce the risk of the slider puck or spool tearing off of the mounting point. Shogun frame slider offsets are CNC machined from the same grade aluminum as military aircraft. Offsets are anodized black to match OEM components. Each offset is manufactured to stringent specifications with ISO 9000 quality control.
Each Shogun Frame Slider comes with high tensile strength corrosion resistant hardware (cheap imitators do not use high grade hardware and will quickly rust). Shogun uses socket head bolts in nearly every kit, allowing for stronger frame slider design in a more compact space. Newer applications of Shogun Frame Sliders make use of a counter sunk design, which distributes the force of impact over a wider area and gives additional strength to the system so that the puck remains attached to the motorcycle.
Over all easy installation.
Everything was easy to install. I just wish they gave us some longer rear bolts for the spools.

Easy to install and a Great deal for the whole kit
I recently bought a new 2015 gsxr 600 and this was a first of many things to add to the bike. Not only is shogun a known and trusted brand when it comes to frame sliders but the fact that these were no cut and easy to install was great. With the right tools it can be said in done in 15 to 30 min. I even made a video on how to install the complete kit on my youtube if you search "tales from the gixx".
This is a great deal for all the basics any motorcycle should have and the kit looks awesome. Comes in anodized black.
Don't think that the day won't come that you accidentally drop your bike in the parking lot or have a low side cause it will happen! Save your bike and a fortune and buy these!

Not too hard to install. Hopefully it does it's job!
Frame sliders are a touchy subject for moto riders. Some say they work and are worth it, some say they are pointless. Me: I bought them anyway. They are quality products and are known for being the better ones you can buy. I needed the rear spools anyway so I did the whole kit.

I just bought my brand new bike when a friend of mine who has been riding for quite a few years advised me to invest in some frame sliders. I was glad I did 2 weeks later when took a spill. No damage to the bike no injury to me outside of a little pride. Shogun saved my plastics and my wallet. The install took a bit of time mainly because I did it at night with minimal light but wasn't difficult at all. If you are thinking about it do yourself a favor and get it. Those who have been riding a while know that anything can happen out there. Spend a little to help protect your bike and save a lot in the event of a potential bad day.

Great value kit with bar ends and rear spools, the frame sliders are designed very well and seems very strong. It didn't come with instructions, ended up finding it online.

Scott H:I order the no cut protection kit for my 2013 GSXR 600. It required no cutting to the fairings at all, just removal of the middle piece. You should also have a torque wrench to re torque the engine mount bolt back down. I am very happy with the kit for the price.Jun 16, 2014
Christopher M:Yes, this will be a no cut kit. You will need to remove or at least partially remove both left and right fairing to be able to access the frame bolt that you will be replacing for the frame sliders. The other two sliders are immediate access. Looks great on the bike and easy to install. I have it on my 2013 GSXR 600 and I'm happy.Jun 16, 2014
A shopper asked:I am looking to purchase the Shogun Protection Kit Suzuki GSXR 600 / GSXR 750 2011-2015 no cut kit for my 2014 GSXR600, how easy is it to install? Can a rookie like myself install these pieces? Thanks.Apr 17, 2015
Christopher M:This kit is simple to install. With the kit you get a link to their website where you can download instructions. This walks you through step by step on what tools you will need and what to do. If you have never taken your plastics off your bike before take your time as to not break your tabs but this is a simple procedure anyone can do. Apr 17, 2015
Relu B:Very difficult to install. Need a dremel or somethinf similar to cut into the fairinga. Very easy to mess it up and if you don't here a no way back. Save yourself the trouble, headaches and time and buy the no cut kit.Apr 17, 2015
