Shogun Protection Kit Honda CBR 600 RR

Installing a Shogun Protection Kit is a great way to protect your motorcycle investment. Each kit includes matching swingarm spools, bar end sliders and frame sliders. All Shogun slider pucks are CNC-machined out of a shatter-proof, abrasion-resistant and UV resistant polymer. This polymer has been race proven to keep your bike sliding and dispersing energy in the event of a crash. The frame slider and spool pucks feature a press fitted aluminum bushing that reduces the chance of the puck tearing off of its mounting points. Every single Shogun Protection Kits includes high tensile strength and corrosion resistant hardware that puts them ahead of the competition. For kits with off-set brackets, Shogun machines them all from military aircraft grade aluminum with a black anodized finish.

Features:

  • High tensile strength corrosion resistant hardware
  • Great overall protection
  • CNC machined bike specific pucks

Great quality product. Install was cake. Caused damage to save damage on bike haha But I actually like the look of the sliders on the bike. Not using the spools but nice to have an extra set around.

I am replacing my protective sliders after a low-side. The other kit saved the fairings, so now its time to get the bike looking pretty again.

Previous owner of my bike laid it down and scratched up the throttle side slider. I bought this to replace all of them so that the color matches and to have a more reliable set. So far I have not had to test these. But when I do I am sure they will do their job.

Im looking at getting this set for my 2003 Honda CBR600rr, but I was wondering if I would have to cut my plastics to mount them properly? If I would have to cut plastics, are they any other kits you can recommend that don't require cutting holes in my plastics?

BEST ANSWER: This is cool, i didnt no you could ask other people about products..
Well anyways, yeah you have to chop into the fairings a bit, i like the rear axle and the handle bar sliders though there pretty slick.
If you want a no cut kit, i can recommend "Oggy knobs" brand, the come with brackets to extend the anchor point of the crash knob beyond the frame, though unlike others they have a support between them that goes across the full width of the bike, so theres not much chance of damaging your chassis..There a bit expensive though, these shogun ones are great value.. If i wa you i wouldnt worry too much about cutting through the fairing once its done it doesnt look bad at all! just take your time doin it, will be all good :)

HONDA FOR LIFE!!
