Shogun Frame Sliders Yamaha YZF-R6

Shogun sliders are superior to other slider brands by virtue of their construction and material--shatter-proof UHMW infused with UV protective polymer. Shogun sliders absorb kinetic energy from crashes and will not shatter in cold temperature like some types of Delrin or fade in the sun. Each slider has a press fit aluminum bushing (excluding bar ends) to hold it in place during impact to reduce the risk of the slider puck or spool tearing off of the mounting point. Shogun frame slider offsets are CNC machined from the same grade aluminum as military aircraft. Offsets are anodized black to match OEM components. Each offset is manufactured to stringent specifications with ISO 9000 quality control.

Each Shogun Frame Slider comes with high tensile strength corrosion resistant hardware (cheap imitators do not use high grade hardware and will quickly rust). Shogun uses socket head bolts in nearly every kit, allowing for stronger frame slider design in a more compact space. Newer applications of Shogun Frame Sliders make use of a counter sunk design, which distributes the force of impact over a wider area and gives additional strength to the system so that the puck remains attached to the motorcycle.

Designed by racers, sold by racers, for the serious rider!

Sold as a pair

Note: Carbon S5 Frame Sliders include a black anodized T-6061 aluminum end cap.

Easy install & Clean look I ride track days with N2 in the North East. I had low-sided on the track a couple months back and I had ground my right side frame slider all the way down to my fairings - on a Yamaha R6. I needed replacement sliders and new engine mount / slider bolts (as one of the old ones had bent in the crash). Shogun's (CUT) version of the sliders worked well as my fairings already had been pre-cut for the sliders. This works out well because the "no-cut" version is more expensive - so it saved me money too! Would recommend this product for 2006-present R6. Took about 15 minutes to install on both frame sliders. October 12, 2015
good price... Great price, I didn't install them I let the shop do it with my oil change, I didn't Wana risk striping the threads or anything. I have not droped my bike yet, so test wise I'm not sure they seem really sturdy. They look good however they do stick out quite a bit, about as far as the foot pegs. All and all I'm happy. Great looking ..and easy installation.. This is a nice product... I gotmy sliders on time and was able.to install it easily...took me like 20 mins to install it... My bike looks great August 3, 2015
Shogun Frame Sliders / No cut Wanted to get a set of frame sliders in the event of a tip over or minor slide. I checked out a bunch and what they offer including GYTR. These seemed to be the best bang for the buck. Look like they'll protect the bike under reasonable speed conditions. Haven't had to rely on them as of yet, and I hope never, but it's decent peace of mind. August 3, 2015
Good buy little pricey Little pricey in comparison to other vendors but u recieve genuine parts and exzActly what you order. June 22, 2015
Looks great and easy to install Great product, very easy to install and looks great on my bike. Overall fast shipping only two days on standard shipping!! Revzilla is a great website. I recommend this product to any rider. Well worth the little extra money being spent here. Saves you a lot more than what you're spending on this set of frame sliders June 20, 2015
Very Very easy to install These took me literally 15 minutes to install. I didn't even have to take the fairing off! Looks great on my bike as well ;) May 4, 2015
don't be cheap with your time, don't shy from "cutting" I figured I'd pick these up (the no cut version) when I got my new bike. Liked how they were "no-cut" frame sliders, so I tried them out. They're incredibly easy to install which might be part of why I wouldn't recommend them to any of my buddies that ride. I went down pretty recently (stupidity on my behalf, cold tires, cold road = road rash) at maybe 20 miles an hour, not even, like I said stupidity on my behalf. The bike lowsided on the left, which is the side of the bike that has the slightly lower slider because it's attached to a steel offset to get the puck around the fairing. I torqued my offset and the slider on very tightly (to the point where I was almost uncomfortable with how tight) and that was that. Going down the offset rotated and the slider actually slid up into the left side fairing and almost cracked it. My reason for the negative review, I went down at maybe 20 miles an hour five minutes from home and the frame slider almost ripped off my fairing, I have ZERO FAITH in this product for the summer rides up in the White Mountains. Do yourselves a favor and go for the frame sliders that require a little cutting to fit, you'll have saved yourself the time of having to look for the fairings you're tried to protect. I swapped for Woodcraft (which require cutting) and they were actually cheaper. March 25, 2015

William T: 1) Have always loved Shogun sliders. 2) I have a 2013 yamaha r6, red and pearl white color scheme and the white sliders blend in perfectly. 3) From my previous experience with shogun sliders, in a low side at a track day, they saved a lot of my td bike. Without them, would have been thousands in repairs. Jun 25, 2014
Brandon G: Purchased shogun sliders before and took a small lowside spill, they help up perfect with no type of shattering at all. Absolutely no damage done to the bike other than a small scratch on my fairings and a broken windshield! No doubt going with them again. Jun 23, 2014

adrian d: After doing some research online on R6 sliders, I found these to be the best product for a decent price. There's no need to cut the fairing and they're quick and easy to install. I lowsided my R6 on the track and all I had was two small scratches, one on the exhaust and one on the fairing. They're hardly noticeable and the sliders did their job marvelously. Mar 25, 2014

Jason F: First off I love my drame sliders it's helped me so much when I've dropped my bike. Also the difference from the two is the "no cut" you won't have to cut any holes on your faring and the cut abo you have to make some mods. Buying the frame slider the best thing you can buy for your bike. Also it depends what year your bike is to pick from the "No Cut" & "Cut" but trust me buy frame slider. Devin P: A no cut kit would not require any modifications.

A cut kit would require you to have to cut into parts of the fairings in order to install the sliders
