Shogun Frame Sliders Yamaha YZF-R6

Shogun sliders are superior to other slider brands by virtue of their construction and material--shatter-proof UHMW infused with UV protective polymer. Shogun sliders absorb kinetic energy from crashes and will not shatter in cold temperature like some types of Delrin or fade in the sun. Each slider has a press fit aluminum bushing (excluding bar ends) to hold it in place during impact to reduce the risk of the slider puck or spool tearing off of the mounting point. Shogun frame slider offsets are CNC machined from the same grade aluminum as military aircraft. Offsets are anodized black to match OEM components. Each offset is manufactured to stringent specifications with ISO 9000 quality control.

Each Shogun Frame Slider comes with high tensile strength corrosion resistant hardware (cheap imitators do not use high grade hardware and will quickly rust). Shogun uses socket head bolts in nearly every kit, allowing for stronger frame slider design in a more compact space. Newer applications of Shogun Frame Sliders make use of a counter sunk design, which distributes the force of impact over a wider area and gives additional strength to the system so that the puck remains attached to the motorcycle.

Designed by racers, sold by racers, for the serious rider!

Sold as a pair

Note: Carbon S5 Frame Sliders include a black anodized T-6061 aluminum end cap.

Very Very easy to install These took me literally 15 minutes to install. I didn't even have to take the fairing off! Looks great on my bike as well ;) May 4, 2015
don't be cheap with your time, don't shy from "cutting" I figured I'd pick these up (the no cut version) when I got my new bike. Liked how they were "no-cut" frame sliders, so I tried them out. They're incredibly easy to install which might be part of why I wouldn't recommend them to any of my buddies that ride. I went down pretty recently (stupidity on my behalf, cold tires, cold road = road rash) at maybe 20 miles an hour, not even, like I said stupidity on my behalf. The bike lowsided on the left, which is the side of the bike that has the slightly lower slider because it's attached to a steel offset to get the puck around the fairing. I torqued my offset and the slider on very tightly (to the point where I was almost uncomfortable with how tight) and that was that. Going down the offset rotated and the slider actually slid up into the left side fairing and almost cracked it. My reason for the negative review, I went down at maybe 20 miles an hour five minutes from home and the frame slider almost ripped off my fairing, I have ZERO FAITH in this product for the summer rides up in the White Mountains. Do yourselves a favor and go for the frame sliders that require a little cutting to fit, you'll have saved yourself the time of having to look for the fairings you're tried to protect. I swapped for Woodcraft (which require cutting) and they were actually cheaper. March 25, 2015
Easy to install! I was simply amazed on how easy this frame sliders were to put on. If you follow the instructions they should take you more 20-30 minutes to install depending on how well you can take off you fairing on one side. For me, I had troubles putting my fairing back on so it took me a little longer. Overall this product is great, They look amazing on my 2008 R6. I would recommend these sliders to anyone who is in need of some sliders. February 10, 2015
Snapped right of my bike Low sided my bike mid way through a right curve. going about 55. Frame slider did its job for about 2 seconds then it broke the bolt in half! so half of the bolt is in the engine block and other in the frame slider. Frame slider did its job for a couple seconds but the entire right fairing is all scratched up and front end is in two.. I recommend you buy a better and more sturdy engine bolt than the cheap stuff they give you. December 7, 2014
Does what it's ment to do! The product is a very nice finish and install was a breeze! It is also a no cut kit so you don't have to cut into your beautiful fairings! November 10, 2014
Excellent product with excellent service and price from Revzilla The install was straight forward and completed in about 10 mins. Didnt have to take the fairing off which was a plus. Overall the finish and machining seem sound, Not sure it will save your bike in a high speed crash, but should help protect in a parking lot / garage tip over July 22, 2014

William T: 1) Have always loved Shogun sliders. 2) I have a 2013 yamaha r6, red and pearl white color scheme and the white sliders blend in perfectly. 3) From my previous experience with shogun sliders, in a low side at a track day, they saved a lot of my td bike. Without them, would have been thousands in repairs. Jun 25, 2014
Brandon G: Purchased shogun sliders before and took a small lowside spill, they help up perfect with no type of shattering at all. Absolutely no damage done to the bike other than a small scratch on my fairings and a broken windshield! No doubt going with them again. Jun 23, 2014
Tony N: Quality, and love the color. Jun 12, 2014
Alvin A: I loved this product, durable and color matches my R6 May 17, 2014
Cameron C: After buying my first bike and taking a spill on my 2012 R6 and scuffing my fairings I decided to buy. May 14, 2014
adrian d: After doing some research online on R6 sliders, I found these to be the best product for a decent price. There's no need to cut the fairing and they're quick and easy to install. I lowsided my R6 on the track and all I had was two small scratches, one on the exhaust and one on the fairing. They're hardly noticeable and the sliders did their job marvelously. Mar 25, 2014
LADARIUS P: good reviews on youtube. my wife laid her bike down so I thought these would be the best for her Oct 22, 2013
ramiro v: Had them on my FZ6R. They did the job protected my bike. Shogun's where it's at! Sep 4, 2013

Jason F: First off I love my drame sliders it's helped me so much when I've dropped my bike. Also the difference from the two is the "no cut" you won't have to cut any holes on your faring and the cut abo you have to make some mods. Buying the frame slider the best thing you can buy for your bike. Also it depends what year your bike is to pick from the "No Cut" & "Cut" but trust me buy frame slider. Devin P: A no cut kit would not require any modifications.

A cut kit would require you to have to cut into parts of the fairings in order to install the sliders
