Shogun Frame Sliders Suzuki GSXR 600 / GSXR 750

The Shogun Frame Slider features CNC-machined pucks made of a shatter-proof, abrasion-resistant and UV resistant polymer. This polymer has been race proven to keep your bike sliding and dispersing energy in the event of a crash. Each puck is then press fitted with an aluminum bushing to reduce the chance of the puck tearing off of its mounting points. Every single Shogun Frame Sliders kit includes high tensile strength and corrosion resistant hardware that puts them ahead of the competition. For kits with off-set brackets, Shogun machines them all from military aircraft grade aluminum with a black anodized finish.

Shogun Frame Sliders are designed by racers, sold by racers, for the serious rider!

Features:

  • CNC machined bike specific pucks
  • Great frame protection
  • High grade steel bolts
  • Aluminum Inserts
  • Sold in pairs
  • Carbon S5 Sliders include black anodized T-6061 aluminum end caps (applicable models)

Tested!
I purchased the cut sliders about a year ago and this past weekend at the track i got to test them. Was laid over in a corner and lost grip running around 70 mph. Bike slid about 60ft on asphalt before going into the grass. That being said the only issues i had with the bike after were strictly cosmetic. no scratches or anything to my engine or frame and am only needing to replace a few pieces of plastic. Definitely will be replacing the frame sliders with the same.

Nice clean look and bike protection
I went with the Cut sliders as i've heard the no-cuts don't protect the frame as much as they have a possibility of coming off on impact.
Understanding that I had to drill into my fairings to make this product work I was a little reluctant but knew with better protection it's the better investment (also it's much cheaper than the no cuts due to less hardware).

Instructions were mildly clear. What I found useful is having a friend help out. And instead of the punch tool they recommend in the instructions, I went with a laser pointer. placing the bike on a stand to it stands vertical, I used a laser pointer to line up with the frame bolt. From there I placed the fairing back on (clips only no bolts) and marked my spot. I drilled a 1 inch hole then used a dremel to open the hole larger until the slider fit in snug.

Gives my bike a nice clean factory look.

Love Them
I bought the CUT version of these Shogun Frame Sliders and love them! They look so clean and subtle compared to some others I've seen. The cutting process took me a day, but I did it very slow and took my sweet time to make sure I didn't jack up my new plastics. I haven't tested these yet (and pray to the bike gods I never have to), but they give me peace of mind knowing if I do something stupid or some dummy in a parking lot tips my bike, that I wont be down and out a lot of dough. I've only heard good things about these Shogun sliders, and I definitely recommend them as well. PS Revzilla is a shipping beast! I got these like two days after placing my order, love this place :)

Good product, relatively easy to install.
These frame sliders are really sturdy, all the hardware is heavy duty so you have confidence in them in the event you drop your bike or go down at a low speed. The install for these was easy, you'll need a torque wrench. The only difficult thing about putting them on is taking off fairings.

A little pricey but hopefully worth it.
I ordered these after I had my bike tip over and spent $200+ replacing parts and just about crying when it happened... I think this product is quite expensive just for the two brackets to make it "no-cut". If these help when I have my next accident then they will be worth the money. I didn't not rate performance or durability because I cannot tell you how well they work until they get used.. Which hopefully they never do. Installation wasn't hard but if your not comfortable with taking your fairings off you might wanna have a shop or a friend who knows more help you.

Good but no sure if they are gonna bear my bike's weight
The uncut kit is good. It looks discrete on the bike and fits perfectly. I have two observations though: they are hollow which at my judgement translates in less protection. The only way to figure if they are resistant enough is to drop the bike which is a bad idea. I had to buy a bunch of allen keys to install them myself.

Instructional Video would be nice
I really wish I had taken a video of my install. The instructions that came with it appeared to be thorough with all the pictures but for someone who had never taken their fairings off of that make and model of bike, the tab and frame plug locations weren't as clear as they could have been. I ended up purchasing a plastic repair kit from Plastex that I think will allow me to reattach the frame plug I broke off so I'm sure it will be fine but still ... I'm sure the neighbors didn't need to hear my loud expletives. LOL!!

Overall, these look amazing on my new bike and I hope I never have to find out how good they work ... it's just nice to know that they are there if I do.

Easy installation looks OEM
I purchased the no-cut kit so I didn't have to drill any holes into the body work. Installation was easy although looking up the installation process on Shogun's website was more helpful than the enclosed instructions. Fit was spot on, although I would like to see the retaining tabs on the bracket actually part of it rather than screwed on. Either way the finished installation looks straight out of the factory. The motor did seem like it shifted once you take out one of the engine bolts but the replacement threaded right in. Overall, looks great and seems solid. Let's hope I never have to put it to the test!

Well made and easy install.
Made very well, really nice black powdercoat on the brackets. The sliders are a good length and installation was really easy with the quick instructions included. My only complaint is that the right side bracket had a little space around where it grabs the frame. Once it is all tightened to spec, it is not an issue at all. The left side just fit on a bit more snug.
I hope to never test them out!

Shogun has an excellent reputation and Revzilla's price was better than any I've found. Also, Revzilla's service is outstanding..

At the time I purchased these frame sliders they were the only available in the market, I had tip over few times the bike and they have protected it always. I would desire if they were a little more larger, they are short.

I chose this because I couldn't find in brand Vortex. These were the nearest ones.
Nelson Ariel L on Nov 19, 2013
Cut sliders have more protection when it comes to sliding as it won't affect or rip anything off. The only down side is having to drill into your fenders. Secondly - for the price - can't really go wrong!

what pieces does this come with? like for the side, spool or bar ends?
Omar R on Feb 25, 2014
BEST ANSWER: These are cut frame sliders. So only comes with the spools and bolts. Instructions are are online for install... i would recommend having a friend help and use a laser pointer to mark the spot you need to drill. Then use a dremel to keep opening the hole large enough for the spool to fit in to give it a clean look.

Bar ends are sold seperately.
