Shogun Frame Sliders Kawasaki ZX-6R / ZX-636

The Shogun Frame Slider features CNC-machined pucks made of a shatter-proof, abrasion-resistant and UV resistant polymer. This polymer has been race proven to keep your bike sliding and dispersing energy in the event of a crash. Each puck is then press fitted with an aluminum bushing to reduce the chance of the puck tearing off of its mounting points. Every single Shogun Frame Sliders kit includes high tensile strength and corrosion resistant hardware that puts them ahead of the competition. For kits with off-set brackets, Shogun machines them all from military aircraft grade aluminum with a black anodized finish.

Shogun Frame Sliders are designed by racers, sold by racers, for the serious rider!

Features:

  • CNC machined bike specific pucks
  • Great frame protection
  • High grade steel bolts
  • Aluminum Inserts
  • Sold in pairs
  • Carbon S5 Sliders include black anodized T-6061 aluminum end caps (applicable models)

Extremely easy install on 2013 ZX6R. No cutting went on in about 5 minutes. Hopefully I will never use them, will update the review if I do.

Does what its supposed to do
Got these frame sliders then two days later dropped my bike, They definitely saved my fairings from getting scratched up. The left side was a little tricky to tighten but with a little force the bolt went all the way in.

Good Quality and Looks Nice
Sliders installed without a hitch on my 2014 ZX6r. They seem like they are built very well and I I like how they look on my bike. I have no doubt they will do the job they are intended for should a situation arise. I would buy these again if needed.

Shogun No Cuts are a Must Buy
Well, I purchased a fairly new bike, 2013 ZX6R, and the first investment I made was to purchase frame sliders. I was looking at a few different sliders and decided to go with Shogun in large part because of how they looked as well as the no-cut system.

Installation wasn't too difficult although the instructions could be clearer. The only negative and the reason I could not give this all 5 stars is because one of the pucks/sliders can be moved in a circular motion by hand while the other one does not move. I am not sure if this is normal or not but I would assume it isn't since one does it while the other does not.

With that said, I would not hesitate to buy them again.

You get what you pay for
I bought these to save some money, instead of getting the yoshi sliders, but now I regret it. I just got them today and put them on and the left side slider is loose because I cant get the bolt all the way in. There is about an eighth of an inch that won't go into the housing and so I am going to get a few washers to close up the distance.

Overall, don't tell me that this will work for my bike when it doesn't. I would not recommend this to anyone, even if they are looking to save money. Just spend the extra amount so that you won't end up like me and buying the yoshi ones because these didn't work. I am spending WAY more money than I should have to.

great product
Quick easy install, all instructions are given so there is no way you can mess it up. They look great, don't move around like other brands will and just pull the whole look together.

Protected my bike in a lowside
These sliders took about three minutes to install and are about as inconspicuous as you could ask for. What had me order another set was that when I had a low-speed lowside, these sliders did WORK protecting my bike from serious damage. The bolt had just enough give to bend slightly without damaging the frame, yet was sturdy enough to keep anything but plastics from taking the slightest bit of damage. I was able to pick the bike up and ride home, and I'm convinced I have these things to thank for that. Even later, when I was changing the fairings out, I was able to get the bent slider out easily and slot in the replacement.

Looks great! Easy install!
Bolt off, bolt on with a Allen socket and you're done! The carbon S5 looks great. Only complaint is one slider seems to rotate and the other doesn't for some reason. hope I don't have to crash test these anytime soon!

You just blew 10K on a bike...seems like cheap insurance versus new body. Shogun instructions were lacking, YouTube your install. Only use six point sockets to install, twelve point sockets slip too easily at those weird angles.

First timer. Is it a kit, or I have to buy 2?
A shopper on Feb 26, 2015
BEST ANSWER: It is a set, you get both the left and right side. There is a difference between the side, so note that before you put them on. Very easy to put on, and they work too.
