Shogun Frame Sliders Kawasaki Ninja 1000

Shogun sliders are superior to other slider brands by virtue of their construction and material--shatter-proof UHMW infused with UV protective polymer. Shogun sliders absorb kinetic energy from crashes and will not shatter in cold temperature like some types of Delrin or fade in the sun. Each slider has a press fit aluminum bushing (excluding bar ends) to hold it in place during impact to reduce the risk of the slider puck or spool tearing off of the mounting point. Shogun frame slider offsets are CNC machined from the same grade aluminum as military aircraft. Offsets are anodized black to match OEM components. Each offset is manufactured to stringent specifications with ISO 9000 quality control.

Each Shogun Frame Slider comes with high tensile strength corrosion resistant hardware (cheap imitators do not use high grade hardware and will quickly rust). Shogun uses socket head bolts in nearly every kit, allowing for stronger frame slider design in a more compact space. Newer applications of Shogun Frame Sliders make use of a counter sunk design, which distributes the force of impact over a wider area and gives additional strength to the system so that the puck remains attached to the motorcycle.

Designed by racers, sold by racers, for the serious rider!

Sold as a pair.

Exactly what I was hoping for when I ordered frame sliders! Good sized sliders for the Ninja 1000, install required removing all body panels but no modifications. Look great too. Hard to review "performance" without laying it down, which I hope never to do. They certainly look up to the job though. July 29, 2015
Great product The install was fairly easy though getting they fairing off could have been more straight forward. The sliders look good someone even asked if they were factory installed. Hopefully I never find out how well they work. March 23, 2015
Crash Report Low side on new tires at 7-10mph. Slider protected all upper plastics, mirror, and handle bar. Puck replaced for $5 from Shogun after crash. A higher speed low side would have probably ground the puck to the point plastics would get rubbed, but those are easily replaceable. March 19, 2015
Awesome Products I got Frame slider for my 2014 N1k. Simple installation, Fast shipping to Hawaii.... and a great product. Thanks January 19, 2015
great! these do exactly what they're meant to do, save your fairings! I low sided about 11 months ago with these on and it saved me thousands of dollars, I just paid $40 for a replacement slider and was back to riding within a week. PROTECT YOUR INVESTMENT! November 10, 2014
difficult to install Got this for my '14 N1K. Great product, but install was difficult, due to the way that is made. Try to torque the engine mount bolts down to the correct ft-lb but the bracket keeps spinning with the slider. Should have had a different bracket system. July 7, 2014
Easy installation, have not tested (thankfully) All I can say about the Shogun No-Cut framesliders is that they look good and installation is quite simple. I have yet to test them, and hopefully never will. I'm confident that they'd do their job in the event of a crash. March 31, 2014

Guy N: Seems like most people drop their bikes the silliest or most embarrassing ways, like sitting on bike using feet to maneuver bike, foot slips and down goes the bike, I say this because it happen to me and talked with other bikers that have dropped their bikes pushing bike in or out of garage, it happens. anyway bought the Shogun Frame sliders to protect Fairing, So far haven't dropped bike, but the Frame sliders are there if and when that embarrassing moment does occur. Tom S: Revzilla is a one stop shop for almost everything I need for my bike. Prices are comparable to other sites. Shipping is free even to military FPO/APO addresses. They will make attempts to price match items if you find them cheaper at other sites. Returns are relatively easy. No restocking fees. There are many videos available for product overviews. Friendly customer service. Great advice from knowledgable staff. They give you honest and practical "advice" based on the type of riding you do and don't just try to sell you on the most expensive stuff. They don't work on commission so there's no reason for them to do that anyway. Nov 11, 2013
Erik B: Great price for a much needed, some what required mod for any rider! Sep 23, 2013
Norman D asked: Does this product comes with a flange or some type of material that will be bolted in the engine mounts? How many bolts are attached to the bike? I wish you have pictures of the pieces I'm getting. Dec 24, 2014

Jon K: Item comes with sliders, spacers, and most importantly, the offsets to clear the plastic. You have to remove fairing to install these, which is the most time consuming aspect, but they mount into motor mounts with longer bolts provided. Time consuming, but not difficult Dec 24, 2014

James C: The sliders have off set metal bases that bolt directly to the engine. A slider is held onto the engine by one hex bolt that goes from the base, through the engine mount and onto the engine. Make sure you use a torque wrench. There are 2 different bolts for each side. One for the slider puck and one for the base. The kit comes with 2 slider pucks, 2 bases, 2 hex bolts for the pucks and 2 hex bolts for the bases. Dec 24, 2014
