Shogun Frame Sliders Honda CBR 600 RR

The Shogun Frame Slider features CNC-machined pucks made of a shatter-proof, abrasion-resistant and UV resistant polymer. This polymer has been race proven to keep your bike sliding and dispersing energy in the event of a crash. Each puck is then press fitted with an aluminum bushing to reduce the chance of the puck tearing off of its mounting points. Every single Shogun Frame Sliders kit includes high tensile strength and corrosion resistant hardware that puts them ahead of the competition. For kits with off-set brackets, Shogun machines them all from military aircraft grade aluminum with a black anodized finish.

Shogun Frame Sliders are designed by racers, sold by racers, for the serious rider!

Features:

  • CNC machined bike specific pucks
  • Great frame protection
  • High grade steel bolts
  • Aluminum Inserts
  • Sold in pairs
  • Carbon S5 Sliders include black anodized T-6061 aluminum end caps (applicable models)

This is my second set of Carbon S5 Shogun Frame Sliders. The first set was replaced following a low side spill during a right hand turn that saw the bike slide across four lanes of the I-15 outside of San Diego. The only damage to the bike was a minor abrasion on the lower right cowling and on the outside edge of the mirror. While the frame slider’s aluminum end cap suffered considerable damage, the slider itself suffered only a ½ inch erosion at the 3-5 o’clock position. The was no cracking of the carbon sleeve but the mounting screw did bend aft forcing the undamaged portion of the slider against the cowling (this sliders require a mod to the upper cowling); however, that did not hamper R&R of the slider. Do not be fooled by complaints of how these sliders are merely a carbon fiber sleeve over a nylon core – they exceeded expectations and saved me considerable money.

Solid Sliders
I purchased these as my last ones performed their job extremely well. The carbon fibre ones look nice but it is just a sheath around a puck for quite a bit of extra money. However, they did their job great so I bought a replacement set.

Good product has instruction to install. I used a laser to align the fairing to the engine mounting bolt.

What are the dimensions of the shogun sliders? I want to buy a hole saw prior to ordering these but I need to know what size bit I should buy in order for the sliders to fit through the hole as close as possible.
Matthew H on Sep 10, 2014
BEST ANSWER: 2" hole saw and then a Drexel tool to grind any extra clearance. To mark the center you have to get your bike upright and use a laser and point it at the center of your engine bolt. Then place your fairing back in place and mark the dot we a paint pen. Providing you have all the tools, it very simple
Hi, would these work on a 2011 CBR600RR and would I need to cut the plastics?
Dwayne D on May 7, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Yeas the body style is the same from 07-12 and yes you will need to cut the plastics.
