Its a Shoei
First I needed a replacement for my damaged Shoei X11. The X11 did its job when I crashed at Jennings GP at over 120 MPH, I walked away with minimal body damage (to me), major body damage to the GSXR, and a need to replace the X11.
I was determined to buy a Nexx helmet but since I already owned a Shoei X11 and I really liked the X11, it did protect my head when it hit the ground at something over 120 mph, I thought I would try on a new X12 as well as the Nexx and Aria helmets. Tried on the nexx, then the Aria, and finally the Shoei. I had to have the Shoei, it fit perfect, better than the X11. I have not had this helmet out on the track yet because I am still in the process of rebuilding the GSXR but I expect its performance to at least match the X11.

Very Happy with purchase
Went through nearly 30 helmets to find a proper fit. Only the Corsair V came close to fit and quality. This X-12 just seemed to fit my head slightly better and was offered at least with some hi-viz. Just like another reviewer, the air-flow just works…not a stream of air, but 95+ degree weather and no sweat while riding. Very light, and with 5 shell sizes, my XS doesn’t make me look like a pumpkin head. Love the helmet and would highly recommend. Oh, and the best part, I ordered over $2k work of helmets to be sent to the house…tried them on and sent the rest back…Revzilla is the best, No Hassle with refund!

Perfect Helmet
I have the problem with helmets "riding up" at speed. This helmet without being painfully tight stays down, and the quality is fantastic.

Great helmet!
As I'm writing this review at the moment, I just had a low side crash trying to do a wheelie in rainy weather and I hit my head pretty hard on the concrete surface but it just has a few minor scratches on a it and still looks brand new!
Great helmet hands down!!!

x-12 kiyonari dragon helmet
I bought my x-12 at a great deal kiyonari red dragon. Looks and feel amazing, took a while to break in but after that the helmet fits like a glove on my head. Coming from Arai corsair v, this helmet for me seems lighter and much quieter and changing shields easy compared to my arai. I would recommend this helmet, best money can buy!!!!

For a race fit, I will always stay with Shoei. It vents nicely, stability is rock solid and the fit is unparralled. This helmet is an extension of your head. I wish the visor was as thick as my Speed R but that is really nitpicking. This helmet is the biz. I've read complaints about the venting and while you won't feel gushing air like a Corsair or Bell Star, whatever Shoei has done to make the air circulate and cool, works. When it was hot this past summer in the humid Atlanta heat of 90+, my head NEVER was hot or uncomfortable. Quietest race helmet that actually keeps your head cool dispels the notion that an airy race helmet has to be a loud helmet. Less is more and this X12 delivers the goods so that you don't even notice you have it on. Not flashy like the SR1, and on par with the Corsair but priced %20% cheaper and a with a superior profile IMO. It simply get the job done.

X-12's are top notch
I have and have been using this helmet for 2 years and its really really great product and workmanship. The internal liner is like I just bought it yesterday and not falling apart. The noise reduction compared to the RF110 is noticable and I really won't be going to another brand.. Just another color when I get bored or buy a bike that won't match the color scheme. Visor will need to be adjusted after many hours and hours of riding, open and closed a million times but when I did adjust it for one small air leak it was right back to ultra quiet.
