These are great Low cost scores are because It's unbelievable that I have to pay for these to make my new helmet work. They should have come with it at no cost. The helmet was unbearable after 30 minutes with the standard size pads. Now it is a great helmet. August 24, 2015
The helmet is even more comfortable now I've had my size Large Neotec for about a year now. It was little tight around the head at first, but within a few weeks it became quite comfortable. Not so with the stock cheekpads. They were never uncomfortable to the point of pain, but if I thought about them while riding, they were always kind of bugging me. When I would lift the chinbar, I would have the "fishface" as another reviewer mentioned. So I finally bought the smaller 31mm cheekpads. I wish I would done it about 6 months ago, because they never really loosened up much with time and use. (about 6000 miles riding) The new pads still slightly touch my cheeks, but there is no tension on them to cause any discomfort. (or fishface) My only regret is that they are about $20 too expensive. If the stock pads are too tight, this are a must. There are only 2 sizes on cheek pads: Good and Bad. I was not able to have the helmet more than 60 min. with the stock pads. Now its an all-day thing. July 13, 2015
worked well helmet came with 35mm cheek pads needed these to reduce the pressure on my cheeks. they worked well July 6, 2015
Corrected a too-tight fit at the cheek pads. $42 is way too much for these pieces. Using my $25 credit for buying the helmet made the price almost bearable at $17. The fit was uncomfortably tight with original (35mm) pads. The only reason I recommend this product is, like many other reviewers, they are necessary to get a comfortable fit. July 6, 2015
Better, but it needs to be a bit thinner Better than the one that came with the helmet, but still a little too thick July 6, 2015
Makes the helmet much more comfortable I have a round face and these pads make the hemet much more comfortable June 9, 2015
Better fit Went from 35mm to this 31mm, made the difference I needed to not feel so tight in the cheeks April 7, 2015

A shopper asked: Looking to buy a Medium size Shoei Multitech helmet for my wife. Will buying 41mm cheek pads make it a small size helmet? Mar 26, 2015
Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (0) No (0)
Mark W: I found that the helmet fit the top of my head very well but was tight on my cheeks so I got thinner cheek pads. Getting thicker cheek pads will only make the helmet tighter on your face. It will not change the way it fits the top of your head. Mar 26, 2015

K Tristan M: No. While the XS, S, and M all share the same shell, the EPS liner is different for each size. The cheek pads address the issue of having a helmet that fits your head but is either loose around you face or squeezes it too tighly - they won't change a helmet into a different size. If the size M fits her around the forehead but is too loose at the cheek and jaw, larger cheek pads will tighten it; if too tight, you'd want pads thinner than stock (stock are 35mm for size M).

Where are you getting 41mm pads? I only know 31mm, 35mm, and 39mm to be available.
