Make sure your helmet fits
I learned a lesson in helmet sizing as the Neotec had pressure points on the forehead and was a bit loose on the top of the head. A comfortable helmet cups your head equally all around and you're unable to lift it easy when grabbing it upwards. The smaller lining solved the support issue but I still had to depress the forehead area to relieve pressure there. The Neotec fits very differently than the Multitec but at least the linings are removable .

It did what I needed
I wanted a better fit for my helmet so I added a larger center pad. Easy to replace and it fit like it should.

Neotec Center Pad
This thinner, optional pad was pricey but saved my new Neotec helmet. I truly believe this is the pad that should be standard.

I really want to get the Neotec. But here's my dilemma. I am btwn sizes. My head measures exactly 23" or 58cm around. I tried both the medium & large on locally. They both fit. But the medium was slightly tight around the forehead. And the large slightly loose. Not extreme in either case. But I'm not sure which would be easier to fix. I was only able to keep the helmets on in the local MC store for a few minutes cause the owners were being dicks. So I'll definitely order it from Revzilla. Should I Get the medium and swap out the 9mm lining for a 5mm lining? Or get the large and swap out the 9mm lining for a 13mm lining?

Works Like OEM
Helmet came with a 9MM liner in the XL helmet. Bought this because my lid fit a little loose, and like the other reviewer, I was considering selling it on CL...not anymore! Liner is exactly like the stock one but thicker. Works perfectly!

I was told by a shoei dealer that sizes XS-M used the same shell size and can use the liners for each size.
I'm a size XS,I bought a size M from a friend and ordered the XS center pad but it doesnt fit, there is a gap at the rear between the 2 push fittings.
Did i buy a mis-fitting liner? or was i misinformed ?

This is my first full face helmet for road riding. The comfort is adjustable which is a great feature. The visor works well and can be left open in increments which is helping in converting over from an open face.

Mark T: I purchased an XL Neotec because the large seemed tight at the time. After I wore it for a few weeks it seemed loose. Got these pads to tighten it up. Should of ordered a large.Jun 15, 2014

Vincent R: Helmet fit fine when new but once broken in it was a little too loose. Purchased the higher MM pad and now it's really snug but not uncomfortable and she be just perfect once the new pad is broken in.Mar 27, 2014
R A: This helped my Shoei Neotec Medium size helmet fit a little snugger. I also have an older Small Shoei which is just a tad too snug. With this pad the Medium fit just rightNov 15, 2013
