No Fog! Works better that any other fog free helmet I have ever owned and it such a simple concept, leave it up to Shoei! The best part is that it is replaceable at anytime during the lifetime of my helmet, buy it! May 5, 2015
PINLOCK for J-Cruise SHOEI The pinlock is a necessary product for the J cruise helmet. It is a 100% no fog accessory for the shield during weather that is less than 65 degrees. I have the same product in my Neo-tech helmet and love it. March 23, 2015
Works as advertised! I'm surprised that a premium helmet doesn't ship with a pinlock insert, but it does work as advertised. No more early morning fog ups inside my helmet! May 12, 2014
Nice but should be bigger the pin lock system works to keep the face shield clear. The only draw back is the line it creates at the top and bottom of your line of sight. It should be made larger to cover the greater surface of the shield. That said, I'd still recommend it. January 13, 2014
Shoei CJ-2 Pinlock Insert I purchased this Shoei CJ-2 Pinlock Insert for my Shoei J-Cruise Helmet. Crystal Clear vision at all times whether in humid or cold weather. Money well spent on this product. May 11, 2013

A shopper asked: Bought J Cruise. Why does pin lock only come in clear type? Did a ride to NM, had real bad sun burn on my face, would be nice to have a tinted face shield option. Feb 16, 2015

Joe T: I ride out west as well. I chose to purchase the clear shield as I do not like any additional obstructions especially at night.

However I did find other colors available - just not on Revzilla. You may want to look around if you would prefer one of the colored pin-lock shields. Not to take business away from Revzilla - so I won't post any links.

Decorges G: Pinlock is just an anti fog system.
The sun protection in included in the helmet's shield.
No need a second sun protectection that would disturb the visibility during already difficult circumstances, such as at night, for example.

Herbert H: Have no idea... don't even use this item - a wast of $$ ... it's supposed to be an "anti-fog" device anyway, not for sun. Feb 18, 2015
