Great bang for you buck
I'm on my second set of these tires, I have a Harley XR1200, a monster of a bike that weights over 500lbs, and it chews through tires. I got 9k out of my last rear tire, which is great for such a large bike. Grip is better than I expect for the price, and tread wears really evenly. Will definitely keep buying these, and recommending them to as many as I can, and always recommending they buy from Revzilla!

You won't regret it.
First: Revzilla was awesome price matching for me ,it wasn't much difference but I chose to support them since they deserve it. I hope yo do the same.

The tires, I have a front and rear on my Kawi 650r. I had the stock Bridgestones before. From what everyone has said about Shinko they are hit or miss. This tire hits though. I broke them in "easy" for about 100 miles. Then I pushed them...not one slip. I have them well ridden but not "scrubbed" in hard. I know the other models by Shinko were OK, read around on these. It will be hard to not buy these again for the price and quality. They may not be the typical 2 compound tires but for what I have read on traction, tread life and atability...it could be one of the best buys.
I will update with miles and wet traction when I can or feel it will be fair.

This replaces the Michelin Pilot Roads which I've used for years. (Over 100K miles) My second Shinko Verge.
Equal to the PR in every way except price.

Best tire you will buy.
I have tried high end tires from every brand on my sport bikes except for Shinko because of the horror stories I'm sure you have heard from years ago. Let me say that since then Shinko has completely turned around with this tire. The grip is absolutely the stickiest I have found using every inch of the rubber from edge to edge. I commute on it but my travel takes me on twisting mountain roads every day to drag the pegs on my SV-650S, with already 700 miles and no sign of any wear. For the price, give Shinko a shot. You will not be disappointed.

Great tire
Fitted on a MY2008 Ducati 848,
- quite soft compound (despite marked as a sport touring tire), - it gets heated up fast in city commuting (which gives some extra confidence to the rider)
- showed a stable behavior at highway speeds ( @ 250 km/hr)
- lasted one full day in track (56 laps / intermediate group)

verdict:
great tires at an affordable price tag.. totally recommended

All around great tire, regardless of the price
I've put 2500 miles on these so far on my 2002 Honda 919 and they barely look worn, not bad for a 480lb, 900cc sport bike. These tires have performed well in all conditions, wet or dry and below freezing to above 100 degrees F. I've yet to test them on the track, however. They don't feel nearly as grippy as the Dunlop Q2/Q3s I had on my CBR600F4i, but it's hard to compare as that was an entirely different bike. All in all, when these tires eventually wear out I'll most likely be buying another set provided I like how they feel on the track. I bought these because I was on a budget and couldn't swing $300 for michelins or dunlops, but I've been more than impressed.

One thing to note is they had a thin flap extra rubber from the molding on the bead when they were new and the shop installed them that way, causing my tire to leak randomly. This was on the front tire, and I think it was an isolated incident since it didn't happen to the rear. It was also the shops fault for not removing the excess rubber, but I just thought I'd make it clear that this happened. Since the tire was reinstalled it's had no issue.

I needed a wider tire for my ZX-14 but did not want a flat surface tire that would not help with riding in the rain plus you can't beat the price of a Shinko

I've run this tire before, and while its no track tire, its a great commuting tire, and has decent grip in the corners and while wet. Once again, don't go slamming into corners like you could with a Diablo, but if commuting is your main desire, this one will last and last and last.
