Shark S700 Jost Lumi Helmet (Size LG Only)
Good, but sun visor has power
Absolutely loving the Shark S700, have been using it primarily in the city, yet to do a long ride with it.
However, I would like to point it out to anyone considering buying this that the inner Sun Visor is not of great quality. The vision through the sun visor is quite distorted and there is high optical power on it. I don't know if all of the helmets have this issue or it is just this one, but unfortunately i cannot return this item as I am in India and I cannot ship it back to Revzilla as that would cost a lot of money!
Overall a good helmet for the price and I would but one again, but my only grouse with sunvisor stays and would like it if it could be resolved, one way or the other!

Good, but far from ideal.
This is my first helmet, before the S700 I've used only two other ones provided by a riding school.
I like it, it is far from ideal however.
The first thing is very subjective as this was the only helmet out of 20-30 I've tried (in the 150-200 Euros price range) which would fit my head perfectly. And by perfect fit I mean it. It just sits snug, holds cheeks well and I do not feel any place where it would have some extra pressure or anything like that. While it sits tight I have no feeling of it being on my head. Really love the fit.
Another good things is the visor. It is clear, I can't see any optical distortions and it operates smoothly and nicely.
Compared to AGV helmet of the same price range I have for my wife, the Shark's visor is just on a different level of quality. It is easy detachable for cleaning too.
Same goes for the sun visor, while it reduces sharpness significantly, it operates well and easy. Large trigger hook looks a bit odd but is actually very easy to use in gloves.
Aerodynamics are fine, up to 120-130kph there is no feel of pressure on the neck at all. Level of noise can be a bit on a high side, however when I have my neck warmer on, there is no high pitch at all.
General quality is on a good side and helmet is very pleasant to touch and operate. After almost 1 year of daily use the paint is chipping off from some spots, but I constantly am scrapping or hitting the helmet against the exit door of my apartment. So probably it is my fault.
On a bad side are the air vents. They are tiny and make no difference at all. In fact I can not tell if vents are open or closed, neither by looking at them, neither by touching those, neither by feeling the change in the air flow.
However, I am using one-click-open position of the visor to allow extra air during early morning low speed commute. It solves the problem. When going more than 40-50kph there is no need to raise the visor at all, flow is enough to keep the fog away.
In summary: if it fits your head you will be very comfortable and pleased over quality of this basic but solid helmet. You will have no air flow control however.

f it only had better air flow and not as loud it would be perfect

A review after three weeks
The main selling points on this helmet were its style, and the oh so desirable drop down sun visor. Unfortunately, these are the only favorable characteristics. I "upgraded" to this $200 helmet from a $70 evos I got on ebay for my first bike. Both equally as comfortable, quiet, and both sporting the drop down sun visor. What I was most upset about is how completely useless the air vents are. allow me to add necessary emphasis, completely useless. Would not recommend.

This product is pretty good for the value
It's been 8 years since I had to purchase any motorcycle accessories that's the last time I rode. This purchase was a no Brainerd it was affordable and it looks great. The helmet is pretty kool and light weight. Thanks to Rev zilla for getting my purchase fast to me with no problems.

I have an older S700 helmet which I loved which led me to buy this one. This helmet is nearly identical to the other shark except with updated vent controls and the internal sun shade. The new vent controls are significantly better and I'm not sure why people reviewing it say it's hard to feel with gloves on. I don't have an issue using the controls or remembering which way to flip them to open or close. The helmet is light and comfortable. The clear visor is optically correct but the sun shade isn't as perfect. The sun shade is easy to flip up our down, but my only complaint is that when it is flipped down, it isn't really "locked"into place. There is still some movement and wiggle with the sun shade. It doesn't really move when riding though.
Visually this helmet looks cool too. I mainly wanted a flat black pain helmet, but those were over 200 and this was on sake for 150. I didn't even realize that it "glows" in the dark until I arrived at my work and all the lights were still off in my office.
In the end I recommend this helmet. I really like the sharks. They are comfortable, light, and look good.

Good Helmet bad fit
Helmet has great features. the visor is thick and clear. the sun visor works quite well. Vents are a little tough to work with gloves on. Vents do offer good airflow when open. the only downside is the rounded shape doesnt quite fit on my head leaving pressure points until I can find padding it will be restricted to short rides. Excellent helmet if it fits.
