Shark Raw Trinity Helmet
Great helmet for around town.
I was looking forward to getting this Raw helmet after reading and watching watching several reviews. However after getting the helmet, while I still like it for its awesome style, I think it is only good for around town use or maybe a quick freeway hop, or as a backup helmet.
The fit and finish is good, the tinted goggles are nice, and the update to the air vent is nice. But.. some quality is lacking. First, trying to attach the mask to the goggles good be made a bit easier. Secondly, attaching the goggles to the helmet by the 2 straps is a real pain. The initial tension of the 2 helmet straps is very tight and thus takes longer than I think is necessary while trying not to damage them or the flimsy rubber attachment points on the goggle assembly. Once every thing is assembled it's not too bad.
Since I wear glasses, I need to raise the goggles/mask to put my glasses on. This makes me feel extra self-conscience about being careful with raising and lowering the goggles. And I was right. After the first use of the helmet, the very flimsy, poorly conceived retention pin on the right side strap, that holds the strap to the small plastic piece that attaches to the goggles, came loose. Resulting in the entire goggles/mask assembly coming undone from the right side. Luckily this happened after I stopped to get off the bike, not while riding. With some help, I manged to fix the problem and everything seems to be okay for the time being. But I have to be extra careful now with the helmet for fear the pin will come loose again.which makes me not want to use the helmet.
Finally about the wind noise and buffeting. I knew being a more or less an open face helmet, there would be more wind noise than a full face helmet. And there definitely is but not unbearable. The wind buffeting of the helmet, at speeds over 55/60 MPH is pretty bad while riding into the wind, or wind blasts from the sides. Riding with the wind, buffeting isn't that bad.
So, all said and done, yes I would still recommend this helmet, despite some of it's drawbacks, and design flaws. If you don't wear glasses, I would recommend not raising or lowering the goggles/mask. Fix the design flaws, and i would give it 5 stars.

Stylish, awesome, comfortable
Great helmet. Always get compliments on the look and it works great with the mask on or off. Get a nice breeze in the face with the mask off... Or protect yourself from cigarette butts on the highway with it on. Highly recommend. Looks great with a harley sportster.

Love the look and feel
My only real gripe is that it runs a bit small. I've been wearing a medium for the past few years and had to return it for a large.

Excellent helmet for style
This helmet provides fair amount of protection but with a lot of style, you can ride all day and it is confortable with no anoying wind noise comming thru, you stand out from the crowd wearing this helmet

Good helmet for price, wish chin piece was a little harder though.

High quality and eye catching
First and foremost it's an incredible looking helmet. It stands out in a crowd without being gaudy or to loud. Air flow thanks to the removable face plate is excellent even while attached. I live in Austin Texas where being able to keep cool is vital. The fit is a little snug but not uncomfortable. My only complaint are the little prongs that attach the faceplate to the goggles. they're difficult to work with and I'm concerned will loose durability over time.

luvin tha shi# outta this helmet
gr8 helmet.i read alot of reviews on this helmet before buying it..no justice done to it in the reviews.alot of complaints about how noisy it is ..bla bla bla about the goggles..for those who have something bad to say about this helmet i only have this to say 2 u : STOP BREATHING. this helmet kills it. wrap your head around the fact that it is an open face helmet ..there will b some noise while riding yes..but its light weight and killer looks make up 4 it. it comes ready 4 a blutooth set up 2 b installed (bonus). could use a better fastening system at chin strap(not a big deal).3 diff ways to wear it (depending on what gear u r wearing) makes it pritti versatile..and the goggles r a dream ..u can wear your shades under em no prob...i thought for sure they would fog up in extreme temps but i was wrong(and believe me when i say they have been tested in both extreme cold and hot weather..hvnt had the chance to put em thru sum rain yet but i am hopeful).goes from sportbike to cruiser seamlessly and everyone comments on how good it looks or how cool it looks..'fu×n awesome helmet' they yell as i ride by.$$ well spent in my books.better than rockin some plain old half lid i say. if u dont no u better ax sumbody.
