Shark Raw Trinity Helmet
Great around town helmet
This helmet is GREAT for around town or in heavy traffic. The noise above 65 is immense, and almost requires ear plugs. The helmet looks cool, and fits good, aND also is comfortable. I love this helmet for around town, short bursts on the highway, and when I am in heavy traffuc. It stays pretty cool due to the open face and good airflow. Overall an awesome helmet for anyone who dosent wanna go 200 mph down the highway. I highly recommend it for anyone wanting an around town, lightweight, stylish helmet.

Perfect Helmet To Me
Before I bought this helmet I read so many reviews, despite all the negative I ordered anyway. So here is my 2 cents on this helmet.
It fits excellent, snug but not overdoing it very comfortable. The goggles are impossible to fog up, the mouth guard portion provides excellent airflow in and out, it will in no way protect you though. You can get the helmet on if you wear glasses, as I do takes a bit of practice but once you get it there is no issue there. However taking it off I have to take my glasses off first. If you wear glasses you have to position the facemask/goggles so it doesn't push your frame into your nose also but its just practice and getting used to it.
Noise level is rough at higher speeds, I recommend ear plugs for long commutes, city its perfect to me, I like to be able to hear around me. People said the foam on the goggles was cheap and would wear away over time, Its the same foam pretty much that's on any goggles and I use it every day taking them on and off and I have no problems as of yet.
This is a good helmet, its pretty much a 3/4 helmet so your face is vulnerable. It looks good of course, unique. People are not happy unless they have something to complain about, so pass up all those negative reviews and give this a shot if you like it.

If you like the style then this is a great helmet.
As someone with a pretty large head, this helmet is awesome. It fits well and is super comfortable. Since I do a decent amount of riding at night I had to switch out the smoke lenses that come with the helmet for clear lenses (sold separately). But once I made that switch, I could see perfectly. The goggles fit great over my glasses and keeps them in place as well. It is a bit loud while riding but it's an open face so you're going to get the noise and airflow. Undoing the goggle/mask setup is super annoying so I usually keep it on.

slightly loud, slightly tight, killer looks!
After over a month's use, it still scrapes my ears super hard when I put on the helmet (I'm bitter about it and hoping it breaks in further). Other than that, wowzers! A head turner, a good breather (plenty of airflow), nice wide vision and a breeze to strap in/out. I use ear plugs when using my shark raw Vs. my full face. Bear in mind, this helmet is only rated as a half.

I have always been a full face helmet person, but i decided to branch out and try a 3/4. I love this helmet because with the goggles and face shield you get protection from bugs and debris like a full face but at a fraction of the weight. The air vents and open front allow for great air flow, which of course also means a bit louder of a ride. I do wear glasses (so i highly recommend the Shark Explorer R tinted goggles) and the goggles fit nicely over them without smashing them into my face or pushing the sides in. I haven't spent a whole day in it yet, i have only done a 2-2.5 hour ride, but i had no issues with comfort or heat. Some of the other posts mentioned the face mask catching in the breeze, but i have yet to have this issue.
In short, i highly recommend this helmet, i love the styling and it is light weight with great air flow.

I love this helmet. Great for city cruising, especially here in New Orleans with the hot humid weather. Too loud for highway use, but it won't stop me from buying another one.

Nice helmet with great style
The only issue is the noise, so for short rides it´s ok, but for long rides you should use earplugs, other than that the helmet have a nice style and is really confortable

Nice Summer Helmet
Got this as a second helmet to a Shoei Qwest which is the only other helmet I can compare the Raw to. Got it because the Qwest gets pretty steamy in the summer during city driving. I wanted something with a bit more airflow but would at least keep dust and bugs off my face. For that it works great. It's somewhat awkward to get on and off, but once it's on it's very comfortable. Only two nits to pick are that the strap is short. There is barely enough length to get through the D rings and secure with the snap. It's also on the loud side. I know a 3/4 helmet isn't supposed to be silent, but the side pods seem to create extra wind noise. If you put your hand up to the side or turn your head slightly the wind noise goes away. Not a big deal at around town speeds.
