Shark Raw Stripe Helmet
This is a great looking, comfortable, cool helmet. It is good quality for the money, and I have had no issues with it at all. Airflow is great, a little on the loud side, but it is technically an open faced helmet... overall I absolutely love this helmet. Would definitely recommend it.

Yes on style, No on functionality
Fit was very good. Couldn't believe how light it was. Style was obviously what I wanted.
I thought the goggles were a nice touch, but the more I used them on city streets the more annoying they became, especially for head checks.
Biggest issue, though, was the goggles didn't marry happily to my face. Always a bit of a gap, which ultimately wasn't a shock, but bugs which get up in there basically just rattle around until you have the opportunity to stop, tilt the goggles and let them escape.
Other issue was with how the face plate is mounted to the bottom of the goggle. I hadn't wore anything like that before, so wasn't sure about the dynamic.
It was horrible.
If you are just cruising around in town, staying around or below 40 ish miles per hour it should be fine. The second you get on a highway or jump the throttle to even higher speeds the entire face plate and goggles start to lift from the wind. And if you turn your head either way while going (head check), it starts flopping around pretty badly.
Love the styling, the fit and it was fairly quiet for an open faced helmet. But functionally, especially with that gogles/faceplate combo....not good.

Great helmet until the goggle bracket broke mid turn
I loved this helmet the first season I had it, light weight for a helmet in it's price range, a ton of air flow for hot summer days and the style is great!
One big flaw, they choose to save a $1 on the goggle bracket, they are cheap cheap cheap.
On a second season ride one of my goggle brackets broke mid turn on a rainy day causing me to low side my new Super Duke 1290 (only 900 miles on it) and miss a week of work. DO NOT BUY THIS CHEAPLY MADE HELMET! With out warming the whole face piece including goggles popped off, turning my visibility to zero in the rain.
Hopefully the next rev replaces the cheap plastic goggle bracket with a metal bracket, would probably save a life or two for all of a $1.
Attached was my quick fix picture-wire bracket, someone passing by was nice enough to go to the hardware store and help me get home.

Nice for city driving, but...beware.
This is an interesting lid. Looks great, I get a lot of comments on it (not all are compliments), no fogging issues, good airflow, and it's super comfortable. Easy 5 stars if you're doing city riding ONLY.
The problem comes when you're up on the highways. The first (and last) time I ever took it out on the interstate, I did a shoulder check and the wind hooked up under the mask and blew the entire contraption up over my eyes so I was blind while I scrambled to pull the mask back down. Shark absolutely needs to put a disclaimer on these helmets and come up with some sort of positive locking system for the mask. Zero stars for highway use, and it's now a ~$300 paperweight.
I loved the style though, so I ended up getting a Shark Vancore. Very similar style, but the "mask" is fixed, the goggles are easy to remove, and it's a bit cheaper. They're European only though for now, so you won't find them on RZ :(

Stylish helmet with some goggle problems
The helmet is incredibly cool looking, and I get tons of compliments on it. I also find the fit to be perfect, and the lightness of it makes wearing it on a longer trip really comfortable. Also, it was quieter than I expected from an open-face helmet. The helmet part of this helmet is a 10/10 for me.
The goggles leave something to be desired. Foam is cheap, at speed the goggles dig into the bridge of your nose a little and the seal isn't great at your cheeks so you get wind in your eyes. Like another reviewer mentioned, if you turn your head (or shoulder-check at all) in this helmet your goggles are completely unseated from your face and your eyes are full of wind/dust. Also the goggles are too difficult to get on and off to be interchangeable, in case you were thinking about grabbing a non-tinted pair for nighttime.
The mask is fine, I've had no problems, and while I noticed the flimsy plastic attachment methods when I put it together, I've had zero issues with it after months of hard riding.
All in all the helmet is fantastic, and for <50mph city riding the goggles/mask hold up, but if you're spending any time on the freeway seriously consider how much those goggles are going to be a nuisance. I'm considering moving to a different helmet already (~5 months later) just because of the goggles.

Nice look- poor fit, problems with features
I was really excited about this helmet. It had the look I was going for, was not flashy at all etc. Liked the idea of the high quality goggles made for it, and was not worried about the mask as I was not intending to use it. First off, the fit is extremely snug on the ears. After 1 hour usage, my ears are literally in pain. The vent on top of the helmet rattles incessantly while riding when in the open position. It literally sounds like someone is tapping you on top of the head while riding. Getting the goggles on and off is an absolute pain. Why they didn't use a simple d ring, I will never understand. For the price I paid I expected a great deal more from this helmet. Now its used and I will be lucky to get 1/3 of what I paid for it. Extremely disappointed.
