Shark Race-R Pro / Speed-R Faceshield
The tinted screen is a good addition to a great helmet
The Shark Race-R Pro, is an amazing helmet. It's light, durable, well styled, just a great design. Adding a tinted screen to it is just a no brainer, especially when you look at just how beefy the screen's are on these Shark helmets.

The visor fits the helmet perfectly. I looks awesome compaired to stock or even black. it quick to change out when needed. a little on the high side price wise but other then that. awesome.

Basic item to be used with the Shark helmet. It is worthwhile. Product of excellent quality and finish. The look of the helmet was very beautiful.

Good overall, I'd recommend it
Good product. I would recommend it for anyone lookin for a day shield. It's too dark for night riding though.

Just like the stock clear shield, this is the thickest but optically clearest helmet shield I've ever seen through. I honestly have to physically check if I've got the windscreen down sometimes; it's that clear.
I bought the Iridium silver reflective screen and I will say, it's kinda dark inside looking out. Not bad, but definitely wouldn't suggest this for a night ride (bing your clear screen along with ya). I've got sensitive eyes though, so this combined with the built in sun shield is great for even the brightest days.
Some of the review stats (like noise, comfort, shape, etc) don't really apply to the shield, so I wouldn't pay too much attention to that. But it does look slick.
You'll want to find the little allen key that came with your helmet (or a suitable substitute) since the lock mechanisms are not calibrated for that "just right" tightness that the clear one that came on the helmet was. Not a big deal whatsoever, just a heads-up.

I love it because it fits my head
The Speed-R is a nice helmet and I love it because it fits my head. When choosing a helmet, fitment is the most important thing. I also love it because it comes with a secondary tinted visor. With this design, it's unnecessary to have to purchase a separate tinted visor and it also makes day and night riding convenient. Additionally, the Speed-R is designed to accomodate people who wear eyeglasses. There are guide slots that allow the arms of the eyeglasses to slide in over your ears. This makes things way more comfortable as the helmet's inner cushions don't press on the eyeglasses.
The Speed-R is nice and the build quality is up to par with higher end helmet manufacturers. I used a tape measure to size my head then I ordered according to the sizing chart and that worked out fine. Visibility is great, I have good use of my peripheral vision when I'm riding.
There are two things I dislike in this helmet. It's very noisy at speeds over 55 mph. Even with the visor down and chin curtain on, there's a whistling in the helmet when I ride. Ear plugs help with muffling the sound. Also, the visor tab is very annoying to use.
