None of the other Sena's seem to fit my half helmet (I have both years "most recent" on other helmets). Nothing beats being able to ride and answer phone calls or hear my GPS at the same time!

my friend has a set I was very impressed with it when she let me borrow it.

Nice units, great reviews, better priced then Scala. They work great, I am not disappointed with the sena units.

I ware a 1/2 shell helmet my wife wares a 3/4 helmet will the SPH10H fit both or will I need two different units.
A shopper on Apr 2, 2012
BEST ANSWER: The unit will not work well with the 3/4 helmet the best solution for this is to order the headphone piece that fits the 3/4 helmet. This is not hard since the units are compatable with each other electronicly. Also the units are ordered indivually. For your shorty (1/2) helmet you will have to improvise holding the unit onto the helmet. The tab is to small and too short to keep the unit in place. Other than that its a great unit for riding.
I'm worried about the sound quality at cruising speeds. Is there an option to use my own earbuds if I don't find the speakers loud enough?
A shopper on Jun 15, 2014
BEST ANSWER: We had trouble with the standard set of speakers at cruising speed, but purchased the upgraded speakers and they work great. Not sure about the use of earbuds. We dismissed using them ourselves as we do want to catch certain relevant noise or sounds (honking horns, screeching tires, emergency vehicles).
Will this unit work with a "shorty" helmet too?
A shopper on Jun 26, 2012
BEST ANSWER: I found that the this unit is best used on a narrow strap (beenie style) helmet. It is the only way to get the unit controls within easy reach. A foam type chin strap or wide chin strap will not work well with this unit. You may have to improvise a fitment to your helmet to suit your needs. The attachment tab is to short and to small to keep the unit in the helmet. Most people pull their straps out first when putting in the helmet to place the ear pieces over the ears. That is if your helmet fits properly. When you do this it pulls the tab out of the helmet.
i looking at purchasing a Sena SPH10H to be able to talk with my wife on the back of my Goldwing, is there a way to run my goldwing audio thru the headset also ??
A shopper on Dec 14, 2014
BEST ANSWER: It May Be possible. The headset has a mini jack to connect to a player source. So if you can adapt an output cord or if it streams Bluetooth then you're good to go.
Do you have to press anything on the headset to talk to each other or is it voice activated? Does it interrupt your music when someone talks to you and go back to music when chat is done?
A shopper on Apr 24, 2014
BEST ANSWER: I have only used the music portion a couple of times, and not with my wife with me. Another thing, you cannot pair two headsets to the same iPod to listen music together, and it doesn't stream it between them. With that said, once you have the headsets on and paired, it's like talking on the phone. Occasionally the mic will shut off and you will have to say things twice if it's been a while since you have spoken. If for some reason a unit shuts off, it's easy to get back on. They are pretty good units. These are the first I have ever owned. IMOP, too expensive but they are the only ones on the market like this. I haven't used them as much as I had hoped, as the weather and my work here in Germany has kept me from riding. We are going stateside soon, and time will tell.
Is this a dual set? As in are there two units? Or is it just a single unit.
A shopper on Apr 3, 2014
BEST ANSWER: It's a single unit. You can link up to four of them together, but they are sold individually.
Will this unit pair with the Sena SMH5 unit?
A shopper on Feb 21, 2014
BEST ANSWER: Yes It Will Pair With Any Sena Headset. Different Headsets Have Different Features, So Some Features May Not Work Between Different Types, But Common Features Always work. You Will Always Be Able To Pair With Another Bluetooth Headset. You Will Always Be Able To Pair With Your Phone And Call Another Rider Out Of Bluetooth Range. The Bluetooth Seems To Get Sketchy Around 400-500 Yards With My SPH10H.
I own a Sena SPH10R which I use on my full face helmet. I'd like to purchase the SPH10H to use in my half helmet and talk with my partner using the SPH10R in the full face helmet. Question is; can the SPH10H be paired to the SPH10R and communicate via intercom?
A shopper on Sep 27, 2013
BEST ANSWER: I really like my bluetooth i got for my helmet, except that the earpad seperated from the plastic piece that goes into the liner of the helmet.other than that i don,t know if they will match up, i would say contact the factory and ask them.
is there a way to connect to Harley Davidson GPS and Music?
Daniel T on Jan 7, 2015
BEST ANSWER: I don't have GPS on my Harley and my music isn't blue tooth compatible on my Harley either but the sena headset is and works great connected to my phone for both features. If your Harley music and go's is Bluetooth it should connect no problem. Good luck!
I have a Harley Davidson HD-H03 half helmet. Will this product work with this helmet? While still a half helmet, if you look it up you'll notice that it comes slightly lower on the ears that the traditional half helmet.

If not, which 2 way radio do you offer that would work with it?
Thank you!
A shopper on Sep 18, 2014
BEST ANSWER: I think it will work just fine. I've owned one for some time now but I find that when I'm on high speeds the wind noise is unbearable.

I plan one selling my SPH10 and sticking to my SMH10 on a 3/4 helmet instead as I own the two units.

The unit works absolutely great especially on lower speeds for music listening and calls. it's just that your ears are not covered well enough to avoid or reduce wind noise.
