Own more than 1 helmet and an SMH5/10? This is a great kit to purchase if you own/use more than one helmet and a Sena SMH5/10. I have a microphone boom kit installed in a modular Lazer and a wired microphone kit installed in a full face Shoei. The double sided tape mount is attached to both helmets and transferring the Bluetooth module from one to the other is simple and quick. The only possible cause for concern here will be how well the speaker/microphone connector that plugs into the Bluetooth module holds up. I swap the unit between helmets about 2-3 times a week (modular helmet for commutes to work and the shoei for everything else). So far it is holding up well, no issues. September 14, 2015
They work I bought these mostly to listen to the radio during my commute to work. They work well for that, but have a tinny sound. The volume goes high enough to hear and the large dial button is easy to manipulate with gloves on. I feel the speakers could be better, but these are the low end of the spectrum, so you get what you pay for. July 15, 2015
Just makes sense I bought an extra set up for my other helmets. That way all I have to do is move the main SMH-5FM unit from helmet to helmet. Install is simple. I'm surprised of the audio quality. For music they're no high end speakers with all the high's and lows. But it's plenty acceptable for what I do. And I'm just amazed at the quality when talking to others. I could hear fine at speeds up to 80. For the price, they're pretty impressive. I normally wear ear plugs and it's still plenty loud. July 13, 2015
Great sound clarity Having already an SMH5 in one helmet I bought this to install in a second helmet to have all these sweet features the SMH5 offers. Speakers are bigger than the ones that came stock in the SMH5 and they sound louder. everybody can hear you very clear over the phone. Great buy April 30, 2015
Piece of cake to install Put the extra set in my full face helmet for the winter. It was a piece of cake to install. Sound clarity is excellent!! September 8, 2014
Works as advertised. This is the product to install your Sena unit in another helmet and like all Sena products I have used it is top of the line. June 9, 2014

RevZilla Store asked: Why did you choose this?
John C: Excellent system.
Very cost-effective to have speaker/mic kit in secondary (and guest) helmets,
then very easy to just switch the SMH5-FM module to the helmet being used..

Derek M: many favorite helmets. Jan 1, 2015
Diego B: Have an extra clamp to install in other helments that I have, so the sena communicator will be very easy to switch from one helment to another.

For full face helment definitly go with wire microphone, for easier installation

W S: mic and speakers for different helmet Sep 29, 2013
Javier S asked: I am looking for a set up to install in a second helmet. I basically want the larger speakers with a wired microphone (not boom) AND a stick up bracket. IMHO the clamping brackets NEVER fit a helmet proper. Is this it? If not, is there such a package or should I match that up myself?

Basically looking for a bundled up SMH5-A0201, SMH5-A0304, and SMH5-A0306. Is this it?

Bradley C: Yes. This kit has a wired microphone, the "bigger" speakers ( the ones that come with the SMH-10 and 5FM), and both an adhesive (dual-sided tape) mount and the clamp mount. In the photo yu can see the clamp mount with the Sena logo, and next to it is the adhesive mount. May 30, 2014

Gregg C: Thats the kit that should make it work for you. It has two mounting brackets, one with an adhesive backing and one that has two screws in it. The screw type bracket opens up and slides over the shell of the helmet. (I haven't used the adhesive mount yet because I don't trust it.) Then you tighten it down with the supplied allen wrench. I put it on the left side because of the shape of the Sena units.

Tim G: The kit I purchased was just the mount, wired mic and speakers for my third helmet. I bought the system with 2 units, mounted them in 2 roux helmets. I needed a third for my dual sport helmet. This kit let me instal the speakers, mic and clamp on Sena5 unit from my other helmets. ((I bought a kit with 2 complete units last year). Hope this helps. May 30, 2014
