The goggles come with two fan settings, automatic and on. Automatic is great the constant on position is noisy however. Defog worked fine
Used them this morning with balaclava and very satisfied. Helmet face shield ices up below freezing, these goggles worked very well. Only complaint is if you use the constant on sweating the noise is like a mad bee is buzzing around. Automatic fan setting does not make the buzzing. Even with balaclava tucked under bottom of goggles, minimum fog and what did form was pretty much instantly removed by fan. Peripheral vision is blocked a little but not enough that most eyeglass wearers will be bothered by. Worth the price to me and tomorrow is supposed to be a low of 12 so looking forward to acid test
